A little delayed in writing this review, though I have an excuse. I have been enjoying my new ride!!! My husband (Robert) and I had been searching for a second vehicle so I can cruise around in with our puppy (Hennessey) while hubby is at work. We had a specific budget and parameters in which we wanted to find the right vehicle that would suit my individual driving needs and our familys needs overall. While conducting our search, when I first saw the 2014 Volkswagen Jetta Sedan 4dr Auto SE,1.8T , it spoke-rather, called to me. I was immediately intrigued by it. My husband being practical about our search encouraged me to view and test drive other possibilities. I however, was set on this Jetta. We had a lot of questions so we wrote them down ensuring we would not forget anything. Our first contact person at Scott VW was when we sent an e-mail inquiring about the Jetta and received a quick reply from Selena Motta, Internet Sales Manager. We sent her our list of questions and we were impressed with how promptly and efficiently she responded to us. SWe still had other cars to look at, which we did, though she let us know that the Jetta was a popular vehicle being looked at by other customers. After visiting other dealerships, it was decided we felt most comfortable with Scott VW and most of all, Selena. She was very helpful and if there was something she did not know, she would get back to us quickly when she had the answer. Selena absoultely went above and beyond to provide us with excellent service. As you can see, we ultimately purchased our vehicle. I recently went here for a state inspection. They wanted to charge me $995 for new brake pads, after I had just changed mine out 6months ago. I went to another place for a second opinion. Brake pads totally fine. Passed my inspection with no problems.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH SCOTT VOLKSWAGEN!!! THEY ARE LIARS AND CHEATS. IF I COULD GIVE THEM ZERO STARS I WOULD. My son traveled from Stoughton, MA to East Providence, RI to purchase a 2017 VW Passat. He had a Capital One Pre-approval on that vehicle at 6.41%. After negotiating price and trade allowance the deal went into the finance office. Once in the finance office he was told that he didnt qualify for the 6.41% rate(THIS WAS A BALD FACE LIE). Being a first time car buyer, my son didnt know what to do. He assumed they were telling the truth....THEY WERENT! Feeling pressured he signed the paperwork at 8.47% which he was told was the lowest rate he qualified for...ANOTHER LIE. After he left the dealership he called me me and told me what had happened. I told him to call Capital One to verify that he qualified for 6.41% on that vehicle. They told him he absolutely qualified for that rate. When he called the finance manager back and told her what Capital One had told him she doubled down on her LIE. He tried to reach out to the general manager which took a couple of days to get a reply. He refused to correct the contract using the old line that it had already gone to the bank and there was nothing he could do...ANOTHER LIE. I have 28 years in the automobile business. ITS DEALERS LIKE SCOTT VW THAT GIVE OUR INDUSTRY A BAD NAME. MY NEXT REVIEW WILL BE OF CAPITAL ONE FOR PARTNERING WITH DEALERS LIKE SCOTT VW.

I’ve had the same car for fifteen years so I was more than anxious about buying a new car. Tanya made the process of buying my 2018 VW Atlas pain free and effortless. Tanya’s friendly, no-pressure attitude was exactly what I needed, making it the best car buying experience I have ever had! I have never been in and out of a car dealership so quickly. As much as I loved Scott’s I have to say I’m pretty disappointed after picking up my car today from being serviced there. This is the third time I’ve had an oil change there amongst other things however, even though they don’t ever do a great job at cleaning the vehicle itself this is actually the first time they didn’t even wash down the car. My doors look like a child went to town on them with all the fingerprints on them. Honestly, I just can’t wait til my lease term is over because my Tiguan has been nothing but a nightmare unfortunately.

Walked through the place four times (at least), no one approached me about selling me a car. I was on the fence anyway, and they pushed me off and on the other side. Four different visits, walking inside the facility, waiting in the lobby, and walking around the grounds -- no help. Ehh, who wanted to spend more than $40,000 on a new car anyway? They dont need it.

In a position where I needed to buy a car. Set out early to Scott motors. 8:45 am walked the lot, went in showroom. No one to help or assist in the purchase of a vehicle. A man and a woman were having a conversation at his desk but did not acknowledge me or offer help. I decided to call the dealer on my cell phone while on showroom. When call was answered was asked by employee how could they help me. I told the employee I was looking for a salesperson to buy a car. I was told they dont start till 9:00 am. I stated it was now 9:07 am and no one around to help me. I left and went to Balise Volkswagon in west Warwick. Looks like we are going to make a deal. Glad there are more than one Volkswagon dealers in RI. I live in East Providence but will have to buy my Volkswagon in West Warwick.

This dealership was absolutely astounding. It blew all my expectations out of the water. This is my first time buying cars from a non-used car dealership and they were willing to do things I would have never expected! Dennis was able to get me to go in and put the prospective car on a lift. The foreman, Scotty and one of their mechanics Aaron, took the time to walk through the car with me as I asked questions and explain to me everything I needed to know. As a car enthusiast i already had a good idea of what to look for, but they took the time at the end of their work day to literally show me everything and explain all the nuances. My 2018 Atlas was up on its current lease. Chris Wall was extremely helpful. He found a 2021.5 Atlas exactly what I wanted from a competitor and had it transferred to Scott’s. Also, due to me being an existing customer they already had all of my financial information. I was able to drop off my 2018 Atlas, pickup my 2021.5 Atlas, and sign all documents in 45 minutes. I came to Scott and dealt with Chris and James who were nothing but helpful in my first-time car buying experience. The prices here dont need to be negotiated, youll be satisfied with the minimal employee intervention in your car buying experience as well as their honest knowledge on financing as well as VW, of course. The prices as they are are remarkable but I am sure they would be willing to negotiate with a serious buyer. After only spending a couple of hours at the dealership, my plates were on my car and was ready to be picked up two days later after it was detailed. They even accommodated to my schedule and allowed me to pick the car up after hours. Great and honest dealership.

Everyone seemed very nice. Agreed on a deal, they promised me that there was nothing wrong with the car. I came in to buy the car. I brought a mechanic with me to look over the car who found a few things wrong (back bumper cracked and AC not working), I told them fix it and I’ll buy for the price that we agreed upon, they said “oh it’s just cosmetic” ...even though they were charging me $200 for 2 missing hubcaps on my trade in Jetta. When I was leaving the sales person said “facts don’t care about feelings” because I told them that they weren’t being very honest with me.Not very professional.A lot of people seemed to have great experiences, so maybe it’s just me who came in on a bad day. Everyone has bad days.

I was pre-approved for a loan through Capital One, but they found me a better interest rate with a different bank. I went into the service department for a routine oil change last week. When I got into my car, I noticed that the window tint on my passenger side window was scratched considerably from top to bottom. I went back into the shop for an explanation and hopefully a resolution. The manager of the service department was not available, so a concrete decision/resolution could not be made. I was a bit disappointed with the way I was spoken to by one of the employees, which I expressed. The following week I received a prompt and courteous phone call from Kim Scott herself. She had me send her photographs of the damage via email and called me back promptly after receiving the images. Although she didnt know how the damage to the widow had been done, she offered to pay for the full cost of replacing my window tint, no questions asked. She even took the time to call the auto salon of MY CHOICE to schedule an appointment for the tint to accommodate my busy schedule. Kim also addressed my dissatisfaction with the employees behavior and I received a sincere apology. Kim truly went above and beyond to promptly resolve this issue and was empathetic and sincere throughout the process. Thank you, Kim!

I recently moved to RI with an out of state lease. The lease was up on the car and VW corporate told me return the vehicle at the nearest dealership. I went to drop off the car and they were extremely friendly and helpful at first, however, after saying that we were not interested in buying a new car in this visit (which I had previously communicated over email) their attitude instantly changed, making us feel very uncomfortable, and felt as if they were pushing us out. They stopped answering our questions, and made us feel very unwelcome. I do plan on getting a new VW in the near future, but based on this experience, I do not plan on using this dealership, or recommending it to anyone I know.

I bought a new 2020 Jetta S today from Chris and the team. From the moment I entered the door negotiations were professional, relaxed, and smooth. I was driving home in the new car within 2H and 30min. and would say the experience exceeded my expectations- enough so to actually write a review. The price point was very competitive with every major dealer around, the financing superb and the experience positive. I would recommend Scott VW if you know what youre looking for.

We went there Saturday looking at a used Tiguan we spotted online. We drove it and decided that that year and trim level was not for us. Chris was extremely helpful he guided us in the right direction and answered every question we had. He was extremely knowledgeable when it came to the vehicles he was selling explained all the features inside and out. He took the time and showed us several different Tiguans. By the end of the day he got us into a 2018 Tiguan that had everything we needed and nothing we didn’t. He wasn’t pushy didn’t try to upsell us like some of the other dealerships he gave us time to think and really make the right decision without being rushed. We will definitely be using Scott vw when it’s time to purchase a vehicle again.

I was in the market for a new car after I had recently graduated college and was beginning a new job. It was my first time buying a car on my own and I was very nervous about the whole process. Upon arriving at Scott Volkswagen I started the process and was greeted by Maria Pizzo. She was extremely helpful, attentive and laid back. She answered all my questions, cleaned off the cars I was test driving in advance, gave me frequent updates via text on how the process was going and even help me get the car set up once it was mine. The whole experience definitely made my car buying process much easier and more exciting. I could not have asked for a better experience with her and the company.

From service to sales to finance it has been a great experience. Service personnel that are practical about repairs. I worked with Hayley in sales 2 times in the past year and its nice to deal with someone who isnt pushy and answers all your questions. And dealing with a finance person who treats you like a human being(which is a rarity for this position) made the purchase less stressful. Right people in the right positions makes for repeat business and happy customers.

I enjoyed working with Jorge because he didnt try to play games with the price, he was friendly and low-pressure, and he went above and beyond to help us sell our problematic trade-in vehicle for the highest price. This is a stark contrast to another dealership in Warwick that in effect told me they couldnt help. I highly recommend Scott VW, wherever you live in RI or MA.

Called, got a price for new battery, made a appointment, show up 10 minutes early. Sat in the waiting room for 45minutes, the guy comes out an tells me I need a new battery .worst place ever
