Very very bad it’s a shame they monopolize this is the absolute worst company. Internet horrible customer service is the worst I have ever dealt with.

It’s impossible to speak to a one- any of the websites they refer to are non operable

Hands down the worst company Ive ever dealt with. They dont care about their customers in the slightest because what are we gonna do, they literally have a monopoly on broadband internet in my area. Phone support is down and live chat isnt working. They lie, chat and steal from loyal customers so they can scam new customers. As soon as there is competition they will go bankrupt, and good riddance!

Worst cable company ever. Customer service is horrendous, impossible to get someone on phone. Been without internet for 2 days now with no answer or any help whatsoever. When I Call the line the automated message hangs right up on you. I wish I could give less than half a star. Worst part about this? Low ratings dont matter, because most people have NO choice but to deal with their terrible service...

Hands down the worst company ever because they cant give you good internet. Fix your stuff optimum because you cannot handle giving me 1bar.

I called to find out an open location to drop off some equipment, the man asked me for my Zip code, I gave him my zip code. He then asked me for my full address. I asked him why would he need that? He said so I can find you the closest location. I said I’m not home you can just tell me the closest location to the zip code and he hung up on me. This is not my first bad experience with optimum. If you are a new customers and don’t plan on moving optimum may work for you. I never had problems as a new customer. As soon as I decided to switch my service to a new address NOtHInG but problems. The only reason I am still with optimum is for my tv service and because a Live chat rep helped me with one of my many issues ( i did have internet and phone but that was turned off on me by pure incompetence and I wasn’t accommodated on getting it turned back on ) I’ve never been late on a bill I always pay early. And never once had an accommodating caring representative except that one live chat rep who helped rectify an error made on optimums behalf. I’ve only had sales people trying to save me money by selling me more products but when I would agree they could never get me a tech to my home. Optimum needs a big re vamp on the view they are trying to give people. I’ve never done a bad review in my life except this one - I’m not a mean person I too am in customer service and sales and deal with the public
