Ive dealt with this location quite a few times over the years and theyve always had a very nice and helpful staff. Made mistake and left my drivers license in truck AFTER they closed and the gentleman that inspects returning vehicles, patiently retrieved the keys and allowed me to retrieve my keys and wallet.
I did a reservation a 4 days before and representative called me a two days before and confirm with me a truck reservation. On the pick up address the office guys says we don’t trust you that you bring us back a truck. And I ordering a U-Haul every day. But her manager was very helpful. Just make sure you are get your truck

I have bad experience here on hitch installation scheduled. i visited the store on scheduled appointment date and realized they didnt the parts received and they said they dont have any status on that item delivery. i felt it is very irresponsible. i had to travel 30 miles to this location. i called the customer care and they said they have rescheduled it and ask me to contact the manger. he never picked up the call. in short i have to cancel the order. i just waisted 2 week just waiting for this installation.
The Hitch installation is a scam. They do not have parts or access to parts and they marked down that they completed the job and gave me a hard time over getting a refund when they hadn’t actually done anything. Go to a company that specializes in hitch installations, that does work on trailers. I had to go in the store with a reservations specialist and customer service rep on the phone plus have their manager on speaker in order for them to explain that they aren’t even capable of doing the job and for them to process my refund. When they did they kept refusing to print out a receipt as proof. They also kept calling me a liar when I clearly could see that they marked the job done on my online account, knowing they never did they job, never got in the hitch parts and never asked me to bring in my car. If you schedule an appointment you have to pay for everything in advance first and never once do they tell you that you won’t be able to get the work done on the day of the scheduled appointment. Scam and con artist.
I really appreciate how attentive the employees were at this establishment. They truly treat you with care and consideration. I had recently had a not so great experience at one of theother chains located in orange. THANK YOU East Orange Uhaul. You guys are the best
Pick-up and drop off was smooth. However, didnt get the small trailer I booked. Those small 4x8 cargo trailers are hard to get at uhaul
Rental was easily done via a call. Truck was ready and waiting 1/2 hr after the call.Truck was clean👍

Fast, Professional and Great Service. I dealt with Jeremy, who gave clear rental options and made whole process easy. I had to extend for one extra day which was done over phone smoothly. I would highly recommend to use this location.
Overall great experience. Reserved online and the pick up process was smooth and quick ( same for also the drop off too. The U-Haul app never works for me so.....I make sure to pick up and drop off during business hours)Con: I requested equipment and it wasnt available on the day of pick up. I was slightly disappointed about that and feel U-Haul should have informed me prior to my arrival, so I could have chosen another location.

I booked an appointment online for a trailer hitch installation. I was told the location would have the items in stock and ready and my credit card was charged. We arrived at the facility for our scheduled appointment and after waiting an hour we were informed the parts were not available and were on back order. We were given no notice that there would be any delays in our install. Our family had scheduled a trip and we needed the hitch installed in order to pull the teardrop trailer. After calling uhaul customer service, it was determined no nearby locations had the hitch either. The poor customer service ended up costing us hundreds of dollars in trip cancellations fees. I do not trust this business.

I rented a 9 cargo van twice from this location in last two months. Both the times the van I got was in very good condition, neat and clean. The staff over there is really nice. They patiently help and explain all the steps you need to do. They make the pick up process very smooth n easy for everyone. You will have to park your car on street as they dont have customers parking.
Spoke with the General Manager, Jeremy, who was very helpful and provided great customer service. I was pleasantly surprised that he handled everything without a hassle. Im very impressed. Thank you for such wonderful service.

Came in for a truck rental for an apt move. Everything went smooth. Randolph was very helpful as well as the rest of the staff. Upon returning the truck 3 hrs later, I didnt even have to go inside! Time saving and efficient!GOOD JOB!
This location is scamming customers for mileage and gas. I suspect them understated the mileage when I picked up the truck and when I returned the truck, They claimed extra mileage and made me pay extra. Be careful this location 😡😡😡😡😡

I rented a uhaul this past weekend 2 days i returned the 10 ft.truck on sunday today i got a email saying my credit payment was not the full amount i owe. So i called the uhaul telling me that i owe them another1000 dollars for the 500 miles i put on the truck the rep.on the phone tells me that he will look at the ,speedometer and returns to the phone saying that the workers made a mistake by puttinng an,in front of the 0,s then he says that he will make sure that he will reimburse me,8.00$and change but that i am still responsible for the,105.00$ rental can you believe this people???unhappy camper!!!

I had a bad experience with just reserving a truck, I wasnt well informed before I picked up the truck and the online wasnt helpful.then was told call a 1800 number and was on there for 20min to then give up and some where else.
Absolutely the worse! Gave us a truck with the check engine light on the dash and BAD TIRES. Needless to say the went flat on the Major Degan Highway in NY during rush hour traffic. It took a total of 6 hours to get roadside assistance to come and change the tire. Not before bringing the wrong tire initially. Customer service was horrible. When I told Kela I was concerned for my life this representative told me to call 911 and leave the commercial vehicle abandoned on the highway with my personal belongings. They would only give me $50.00 off my bill for 6 hours of lost time that shouldve taken an hour. Never again will I use nor recommend this location. They deserve half a star rating or lower.

I rented a truck from these guys, and they are very nice people. Tomorrow I am renting from them again, so as a repeat customer I can definately say I recommend them. I was also happy with the price. Its not often I can say that about anyone! They have all the additional stuff you would want also like blankets, tape, dollys and that kinda thing. The truck was clean and nice.

Rented a one way trailer to cross the country. The broken down trailer they set me up with was not serviced properly and the wheel fell off within two hours! Would suggest avoiding this business.

Reserved 2 weeks ahead then received call from a private number with a no return call two days before pickup date with to tell me they dont have the truck I requested and referred me to another location 35 miles away!! I couldntt get anyone on the phone or in live chat. Had no choice but to accept due to short notice...didnt want to risk cancelling and not find an alternative company on time. At the end of my using the truck and received receipt, I requested they deduct the 35 mileage usage since it was not my choice of location for pickup. So far I have not yet received any response. Very, very DISSATISFIED and DISAPPOINTED on their method of service...CUSTOMER BEWARE!!!

Shameek general manager there and Aneese are horrible. I made my reservation at least a week ahead of time and when I get here they tell me that they dont have the the items that I need. They had me go to a different location that they assured had everything I needed only to drive across town only for them to tell me that they dont have everything and not even what I can settle for to complete my move. Horrible customer service and I will never use them again.

This place it the worst I go pick the rental up at the time I’m supposed now i explain to them I only needed 4 (11-2) hours cause the building I was moving into only gave you 4 hours to move ur things in a little crazy to me but that building policy The workers that was supposed to be of assistant to me and my driver was on the phone just about the whole time but I didn’t complain once we got the tuck off the lost we pick up my helpers and started to load of the truck which only took me a half hour to do (11:30-12) I didn’t have a lot of stuff do to the fact that gave some away and I was renting a room and I had 12 helpers once all the stuff was on the truck my drive go to started it and it wouldn’t start so I call for roadside assistance which took a half hour to talk with some one just for them to tell me help is on the way but it might take up to 60 mins help get there a lil before 1:20 now we waiting for to jumpstart the truck and we have to let it run for sort while I only moved 1.4 miles away we got to my new building at 1:30 but I still had to wait for the building manager to come give me my key he was with another resident so that was a 15 min wait so I went over my moving time we went a lil into 2 o’clock the time the truck was supposed to be back on the lot the charge me $19 for mileage said I use (10.5) miles mind u I live 1.2 miles from the u haul place they charge me for equipment I didn’t rent and a late fee and I’ve been calling them for two days and no one answered the phone
