My family and I have been going to Dr. Mascolo (father and son) for at least 6 or 7 years. Our first experience with Dr. Ray was what made us stay! I had a new dental plan and needed to find a new dentist. Before I could choose one, my husband developed an excruciating pain on the side of his face radiating past his ear. He was actually diagnosed with trigemial neuralgia. (I should say misdiagnosed) After countless doctors and failed treatments we finally said maybe this was a dental issue. On a Saturday afternoon I started searching for a dentist to see my husband. Dr. Mascolo was in my plan, so I called. It was 11:45am on a Saturday, they were just about to close. Instead, Dr. Mascolo welcomed a brand new patient immediately. My husband was in severe pain and you could see it on his face. He never even sat in the waiting room. Dr. Mascolo took him right in for X-rays. We were immediately sent to a specialist to have a tooth pulled. Within 2 hours, my husband was pain free!The exceptional care continues to this day. I would highly recommend both Dr Ray and Dr Tom!

I had bad teeth (over 10 teeth pulled and cavities even tho I do floss and brush) anyways, Dr. Mascolo has helped me and shows me where the cavities are and gave me better toothpaste to use. Hopefully I have less but without his help I would of needed root canals. He did a great job and we recommend this dentist!

I finally found a dentist that is exceptional at what he does. There are many dentists around. Some good and some not so good. But to find a professional in this field who excels in all areas of dentistry is a rare find. The quality of his work is awesome. I have had tens of thousands of dollars of dental work done over the years and sat in many dentists chairs. My rambunctious son broke his front tooth playing with his cousin late at night on a holiday weekend. We ran to PM Pediatrics, Huntington emergency room and even contracted Stony Brook Dental Emergency, but it was a holiday weekend. The Dental facility we normally frequent told us we had to wait another month for an appointment. My husband remembered his Knights of Columbus friend and called him, Ray Mascolo DDS, who took us that same day, late that evening at 6:30PM and provided us with patience, humor, wit and most importantly kindness. A kindness that gave us peace of mind. Even though I was skeptical dealing with a dentist I didn’t vet, he put my mind at ease by giving comfort to my son. You know your experience is good when your son leaves the office hugging the dentist. Thank you for your understanding in our time of stress. I need to start by saying the thought of the Dentist gives me anxiety. But walking into Mascolo Dental all of that goes away. Dr. Nicole is literally the sweetest orthodontist ever! She explains everything she is doing step by step and puts your mind at ease & Dr. Tom always knows exactly what’s wrong and how to help. He never rushes you and always makes sure all of your questions get answered. Kaityln the hygienist always keeps my teeth and mouth nice and fresh and most importantly always a painless cleaning & visit. Overall the best dentist to go to for all your dental needs!!!

The absolute best. I’ve been seeing Dr. Mascolo for over 30 years. Despite living now in Rockland county, I still drive down here for all dental work due to the incredible service he provides. Could not recommend enough.
