We had a lovely dinner to celebrate our anniversary at Safehouse ❤- The staff is so lovely! Every single person we interacted with was super nice.- The drinks were delicious and freshly made, we love that!- The FOOD: delicious, different flavors, very fresh as well. Even the complimentary bread was delicious. The Chicken Milanese was the most tender piece of chicken Ive had in a while!- Ambiance was lovely with nice music that isnt too loud. The seating is very comfortable and a good distance from others. The place is very big and beautiful.- Lots of parking on premises.A huge thank you to Victoria! Well be back when we visit RI again.

We just had my daughter in laws bridal shower this weekend 7/24/21 It was perfect! The room was beautiful and elegant, Erin was phenomenal (even when I sent a couple of emails and called). She was wonderful. We had such a great day! Thank you to the staff you were also amazing! Definitely consider this place for an event I can’t speak highly enough of them.

Awesome food, drink & ambiance! Very clean and inviting atmosphere. Loved the fireplace within the wall by the bar. Cozy & romantic even if you’re able to secure bar side by the fireplace.There are 2 separate areas in the Safehouse. The downstairs is the classier and more date night type of scene. Upstairs is cool but more relaxed and reminds me of the locals favorite place to meet.Their Dirty martini was phenomenal. I haven’t found many places that right off the bat I’m hooked. They are one of the best & have blue cheese stuffed olives which if you’re anything like me it’s like Christmas when I find blue cheese stuffed olives. I’ll never understand why places don’t offer them. A group of four of us went. Reviews were pretty good so we thought we would try. Overall a bit disappointed. Interior was very nice, open and welcoming. Drinks were good but not as described on the menu, my brother and I both ordered a bourbon based martini which was supposed to be accompanied with a marachino cherry, neither had one, small detail, yes, however consistently incorrect.Calamari was very dry, we asked if there was sauce that was supposed to come with it and were told no, but she did offer to bring marinara. Plain, but better than nothing and we appreciated the gesture. My wife ordered the NY sirloin, medium, she received a very very rare steak, the kitchen took it back and cooked it slightly better (yet still not medium). Lobster bisque was awful, very very salted. The highlight was really the veal saltimbocca was was amazing!Service was slightly slow, not quite as friendly as one would hope, but not bad.Not sure Id return and certainly would not recommend.

Just returned from our dinner here & would have enjoyed it except for the flies that constantly visited our table. My wife was disappointed that they only served prime rib on Fri & Sat. Not mentioned on their website. 1st & last visit.

First time at this restaurant and would not go back. The restaurant itself has a nice feel to it both inside and out. Bathroom was very clean. Our waitress was great. The food service is horrible! We waited for our food for over and hour and a half. A few friends ordered apps and it took that long for them to receive it. The waitress told us the kitchen was running behind, and gave us more bread because that was the only thing she could offer. When asked how long it would be an hour in she said she couldn’t give us a time. When we got our food it was very tasteless. So we were highly disappointed and annoyed. When you wait that long for food and it’s not even worth the wait. We had to ask for the manager to come out he didn’t even come at any point of us waiting to offer us drinks or something to accommodate us we had to ask. Management, and food stink! Don’t waste your time. Not worth it at all. Too bad!

This is by far the best experience weve had during our trip. The staff was amazing, shout out to Ryan and Mario. Every entrée the 6 of us enjoyed was memorable. Highly recommended.

Service was slow and the tuna was briney and too well done. The chef needs to learn how to make fish thats not dry and generally poorly cooked. Used to be much better. I was disappointed 😞 I can make fish so much better than what got. Maybe I should come in and give him a few lessons.

This place has a beautiful design on the exterior , the front entrance to the patio are very nice. Inside is very nice as well , they have a nice big bar and comfortable seating that gives you a fine dining feel. Food presentation was great as was the taste of what we ordered. Cost is very reasonable for the portions you get. They had live music , and staff were very professional. I gave it 5 star because over all everything was great. Only 2 negative things I can say are , parking can be tough when its busy, sometimes hard to find a spot, and during the winter , theybhave the heat cranked up so high you could wear beach clothes inside . Almost too uncomfortable to sit an eat.

We dined here this past Saturday and the place was really busy, which is usually a good sign. The atmosphere was nice, though the tables are packed in a bit tight. The first round of cocktails was very tasty and we were off to a good start. Our server was very attentive and friendly, as was the host staff. Dinner arrived and we ordered a second round of cocktails. The food lacked seasoning and our new drinks didnt really hit like I had hoped. One of the drinks had jalapeno, the other basil, but you would never know. The flavor just wasnt there. I think muddling them would have improved the drinks considerably. We ordered a side of manchego mac and cheese that basically tasted like pasta water and the prime rib, while cooked to the temp ordered, was also very bland. We skipped dessert and grabbed our check, feeling a bit disappointed. Im open to second chances, so maybe well try it again someday.

Came for outdoor dining and the ambiance and service was great! We had the sour & sweet cauliflower, calamari and tenderloin apps which were all delicious, but the cauliflower was the true star. The strip steak was a bit on the pricey side, but still tasty and the carbonara Brussels sprouts were a hidden gem on the side menu. Lastly the “bread & butter” could have been its own appetizer..house made focaccia with olive oil and a whipped herby butter was an unexpected and very welcome surprise. We will be back again for sure!

Went to Safehouse for my friends bachelorette dinner last night. The setting was beautiful with perfect lighting. Our server was very sweet and handled our group of 6 well. The food was pretty good but nothing special. I did enjoy the cocktail I ordered. Rating 3 stars because at the end of our dinner one of the boys clearing tables made a very unprofessional comment about our friend, i’m assuming because she was wasted but hey it’s her bachelorette night! As our other friend was helping her to the car, he referred to her as “that stumbling b****” as well as another rude comment. We told management and they were kind and apologetic and said they would talk to him. With Safehouse being so beautiful and classy you just wouldn’t expect an employee to behave like that.

Have been here multiple times with friends and family and have always enjoyed the food, drinks and service. The clam chowder appetizer was really good, as well as the chicken saltimbocca. Will definitely be back.

Food and drinks as well as atmosphere were all pretty awesome inside was quite loud outside was nicer. The staff was extremely wonderful very patient and understanding about my food allergies. However service was a bit slow granted it was the first weekend restrictions were lifted. They gave us a free dessert to make up for the delay.

Didnt eat, but great experience! Bartenders were great and consistent not only with drink, but between each other as well. Great atmosphere, lots of areas to dine.

I only gave this 1 star because I had to. This restaurant is a trap!!! Waited over 1hour+1/2 just to get appetizers. By the time our food came it was unseasoned steak thrown on a wedge of lettuce, & dried out overly salted cube of fish in my fish tacos with a hefty portion of buttery asparagus. NOT WORTH the money or the WAIT & WAIT & WAIT…. Manager acted like this happens often, and wouldn’t let us speak our peace. Offered a dessert. DONT GO IF YOUR HUNGRY.

Highly recommend this place! I’ve been several times and it does not disappoint. Portions are huge. Drinks are great. The Italian wedding soup was amazing. I had the Ribeye and it was a fantastic cut! This place won’t disappoint!

Meh... nothing to run back for. Best part of my dinner was the side of rice and chorizo in a whole pepper. Very good and different. Tuna steak was cooked properly but was bland and uninspired. Even a little tuff to cut. Two other people in the party ordered the chicken parm but they didnt have much to say other than the pasta was a little over cooked. Another person had a different chicken dish but he didnt like it much at all. Sat outside which was nice but the mosquitoes were out and ended up with 2 or 3 bites.To end on a positive note, the waiter was excellent.

I will definitely look to Safehouse for my next private event. The facilities were clean and did not offend. Great atmosphere overall.

This was my first time here and it may be my last. We sat at the bar, and service was slow and terrible. It seemed pretty busy for a Tuesday night, but not to the point where you should be left hanging for 20 plus minutes for a drink and a menu. Food didn’t come out how it was ordered, but we ate it because we had waited long enough for everything else. Just not a good experience at all.

My first time last night and I was super impressed. Brought 10 people out for my moms birthday, my stepdads, and stepbrothers and everything was awesome. Read below!- - -First photo is the Safehouse burger, Monica had this. She’s not one to get burgers very often but she loved it and I had a few bites too, I wish I got it. Also it comes with a mix of regular fries and sweet potato fries which was awesome, best of both worlds. Overall, super tasty and juicy.- - -Second and third photo was my meal; the saltimbocca with chicken over pasta. Amazing. The Demi glaze is so good, the chicken was delicious, the pasta is awesome and it was very filling. The spinach and cheese on top is a real great addition. I somehow finished all of it.- - -One of my brothers got the chicken parm sandwich with fries. Classic and great, he enjoyed it. The ciabatta bread looked really good.- - -Last photo is one of the desserts; the cookie skillet. One word - unreal. The cookie is super warm, soft and gooey, the ice cream is a perfect pair, and with 2 strawberries you get a little of everything. If I wasn’t stuffed from my meal I would’ve had my own but I split it with Freddy. We all tried this one and everyone loved it. You HAVE to try this dessert if you come.- - -Not pictured was the lobster ravioli, sea scallops over risotto, prime rib, and others. Everyone really really enjoyed the food. Drinks were awesome too! Big selection of cocktails, great beers on draft and more. The service was phenomenal, our server Kayla went above and beyond to make sure everyone felt very welcome and enjoyed themself, especially the birthday people. She was always nearby to check on us and make sure we had everything we needed. Overall 5 star experience no question. If you’re looking for a new restaurant to try for a date night, family dinner, or for birthdays, Safehouse should be on the top of the list!

Time for an update. Went back on 6.30.21. atmosphere is still great. I will say the butter/oil combination that comes with the bread is life altering good. My top butter now above Spain and Texas roadhouse. Anyway wife got the salmon and seemed fine with it. I got the safehouse burger and it was a 6/10, fries are good 7/10. The biggest disappointment was the over fried calamari. It has so much potential but it was ruined. The server left a lot to be desired as you could tell she was fake. I will go back for that butter. Damn it was good.

This is a really disheartening review to leave, because most of the meal was great, but I have to be honest. We were told they were out of burgers, but would be available again if we waited an extra 15 or 20 minutes. At this point, based on the quality of food and price point of it, I am assuming its because they either make their own (and someone finally had the time to do it) or just were very busy and ran out of portioned ground beef. I was giving the benefit of the doubt, so we went ahead and ordered it medium rare and with no worries about the wait. Ill digress for a moment and say that everything else was great. The pan seared tenderloin appetizer with baby spinach, quinoa, pickled beets, and evoo was delicious. The shrimp and corn chowder was excellent. Their bread, I think homemade in house, was very tasty. I got the surf and turf bucatini, a tasty dish (although light on the braised short ribs and scallops, portion of short rib especially could be improved) but I loved it, it was great. At this point Im a 4 or 5 star rating all day and Im really enjoying this place. I look over at my fiancé and the disgusted look on her face at the burger they brought to her. Not only was it not medium rare, it was well done and tasted like a frozen burger. We both looked at the burger, which had almost no grill marks on it. Ive been around, that doesnt happen unless you cook it stupidly (microwave, etc.). We told our waiter Oscar it was terrible, and we had no interest in it and pushed it aside. At this point, we had enjoyed so much food, and everything else was great, I was fine with it. Then they dropped the bill with the nasty one bite taken out of it frozen market special burger still on the bill, no questions asked. No manager ever asked us about it, even though we couldnt have been clearer it was atrocious and didnt touch it. Frankly, its immensely stupid on behalf of whoever was in charge Sunday June 27th, 2021 to have the audacity to put that type of absolute garbage product in front of any guests. And I paid for it anyway, because I dont complain, after Ive told a server a meal was absolutely terrible, and it was, this wasnt an objective opinion, they served us garbage to try and save face instead of being honest and just saying they couldnt provide the appropriate product. 17 years in this business, and I have no respect for misrepresenting your menu product. I left that nice young man Oscar a plus 20% tip. I will never go back there, and I will make sure nobody I knows does either. An absolute scumbag maneuver pulled by whoever was in charge. I have room for error, but not blatant dishonesty.

Absolutely disgusting kitchen. Mice live in the walk-in refrigerator. Raw foods are stored in the same place as all of the lettuce and other vegetables. Half of the appetizers are microwaved. I would not spend a dime here if you think its higher quality than Applebees.

We frequent this location for the atmosphere and great food. Most of the tap beers are at the other bar so the waitress has to walk up stairs to go get them. They do have a full bar for drinks, but Im a whisky strait or beer person. The fried mozzarella is amazing, the red sauce is just sweet enough to complement the app. Overall great food and great staff.

Food was good. Thats it. We have new rules in ri. None of them were followed. Not one customer in the restaurant was wearing a mask. The hostess wasnt wearing a mask. When I brought it up to management, his response was they are eating outside. Thats not the rule. I told him its his job to make it safe and to follow the guidelines. Not mine. Wh8i told him the hostess wasnt wearing a mask. He told me it was difficult to talk on the phone. Funny, I speak on the phone daily with a mask. No problem. Please make it safe for all your patrons. Not just the daily crew.

This public bathroom is HORRIBLE!!!! It smells like sewage, it is FILTHY and absolutely DISGUSTING. It is always out of toilet paper, soap, and paper towels. Too bad because the town is nice!

I had my husbands birthday there this past weekend and Erika and her team were amazing. Everyone raved the food was phenomenal and Michael our attendant for the day is a class act. Would definitely have another event here.

Food and service for this buffet luncheon were very good. I liked that the wait staff came frequently to clear dishes off the tables when people were finished.

It is very crowded and Ive gotten the wrong food a couple times, but they were very nice about it and immediately brought me the right food. And let me tell you, the deliciousness of the food is worth the wait. The atmosphere overall is also very good. Its a nice place to eat outside in the summer.

Our dinner at the Safehouse was fantastic. My wife and I went there with a friend and we sat at the bar where we had dinner on a Sunday evening. The bartender is very knowledgeable and the drinks were excellent. I had a perfect Crown manhattan and they have some vermouth brands I never saw before and which tasted great. I had blackened swordfish for dinner and it could not have been better. My wife had the salmon, her second time having it, and loved it. Our friend had a perfectly cooked steak. Well be back.

My steak was good, my wifes chicken parm not so good. Service was quite good, we had an experienced and professional waitress. Atmosphere was extremely LOUD! Almost forgot the dessert was very good. I give it 3 out of 5 due to inconsistent meals and too much noise.

The worst part about this experience was the feeling that you were being kept there for your money. I was told a 20 min wait. This ended up being 1 hour and 17 min until we eventually decided to eat at the bar. While we waited, we were consistently reassured that we would be seated soon. This never happened. Making sure they had our business seemed to be more important than our need to sate our appetite. There were people to our right AND left who expressed similar concerns. However, the bar tender who eventually served us was a wonderful woman. Perhaps management could grab some extra experience to run a busy restaurant. Food was good but overall experience is not worth the angst.

Haven’t gotten a call back since coronavirus started about returning to work- I used to work here 5 days a week! I know 30 of my coworkers are in the same boat as well! Yet there’s multiple hiring ads posted and we are all locked out of shiftnote? Commented on the hiring ads but our comments got deleted. Strange, must be a glitch in the matrix :)

Loved the food, great atmosphere and good time with friends!

Food and wait staff were good. Hostess was chit chatting while we stood there for 5 minutes waiting to be seated. Also, there was an issue with a gift card which was more than likely not activated properly by one of their employees in the first place and the manager was not helpful at all alleviating the situation. I can think of better places to go spend $100. Wont be back.

I had the steak tips medium and oh wow!!! The yellow jasmine rice & asparagus was very flavorful. No salt was needed. Service was quick. Great place to dine & enjoy.

Fantastic place for delicious food, I love the seafood serving there. Make sure you try some local beer with the food, because they are also amazing. If you are in the mood, the bar attached is also great, a wonderful combination of good food and good drinks!

I ordered a salad and its a head of letuce cut in half with dressing on the side. And thats what i would have done if i wanted to eat my salad like a hotdog. I could have made this for 1/4 the price 50x the quality. This isnt a salad. I spoke with the owner about it just looking for information and he basically told me to screw off in his own words. Said he knows more than me because hes been in the business for his whole life. Was told 20 mins and waited an hour. I dont mind that if the food comes out good. Terrible customer service all around.

Overall, the Safehouse is nice and the food is good. Bar is a happening place, always packed. I ordered the Salmon and is was great. My side was the Purple Mashed Potato’s. Not a fan.

We were a party of six at 8:00 oclock. We were seated promptly. Cozy interior recently renovated. Large bar in the center of the room. Cant wait for warmer weather to sit out on the patio area which has an amazing gas fireplace and beautiful stone work. So we ordered the Chicken Parmesan with a bottle of Pinot noir called Contour. The food was excellent and the wine went perfectly. Also have to mention our Server Kaitlyn. She was the best. Very attentive and always near. Outstanding service. We will all definitely return and we hope to see Kaitlyn again. Highly recommend the Safehouse. Very reasonably priced.

The food was fantastic. We stopped in for lunch and ordered a BBQ chicken pizza and a bowl of their Italian Wedding soup. The soup was amazing and the pizza had a nice crisp crust which held all the ingredients on it. I love this place and I can not get that soup off my mind. Yummy!
