Dropped off 2013 BMW X5 to have a water pump and thermostat installed. Service person Bobbie said he will diagnose to verify and call me before they do anything. The parts were from BMW of Newport. I was a Sales Manger there for 15 years. Truck was getting hot and they had mechanics out because of Covid and they said it was a 3.5 hour job!!!Monday I called and Bobbie said he will finally get in Tuesday by noon.So I get a call back at 2:31 from Bobbie.And he tells me it is $1394.11 AND HE CALLED ME IN THE MORNING????AND THEN HE SAID HE ALREADY TOLD ME HOW MUCH IT WAS???AND IT WAS A 10 HOUR JOB!!!!!I know it was only a 3.5 hour job!!!So he FINALLY ADMITTED he Never called!!!I Just spoke with Paul Kunha with over 20 years at BMW of Newport and he said it was a 3.5 hour job and labor would be less than $600to do the JOB!!!I told them to show me ANY BOOK that shows 10 hours???LIKE I WAS TOLD!!!They wouldt let me speak to the owner and someone named Carl said I was WASTING HIS TIME!!!I said if I was called like I was told I just would have passed!!!And paid the labor and move on!!!!I had the police come and am dealer with the Attorney General office now!!!DONT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY WITH THESE HACKS!!!

The convertible top on my 2007 Audi A4 ceased working. Brought it to the dealer for repair. $2200 later the top worked but only manually. They said I needed a new pump and motor. Quoted @ $3300.00. Went on line, bought a warranted used part for $200. Carl & Bobby Judge were great, part installed for way less than the dealer quote. My top now operates as it should. Great service, professional and friendly from the first phone call to the time I picked up my car. Will be returning to IMG for all my service and repairs from now on. If you were smart, you would too.

We have a Volvo. It was making a noise on the front right side near the wheel. Took it in to a Volvo dealer and they couldn’t figure it out. So we drove it for a while longer until we noticed what appeared to be an oil leak in the same location. Tried to set up another appointment and was told more than 1 week. Then tried the other Volvo dealer in RI - same thing. So we tried Int’l Motor Group. Took it in the next day. Bobby Judge was great. Not only did we have a blown strut there were a number of other things which req’d service. They did a complete, thorough job. And, since it was going to take several days straddling the weekend they provided a loaner. We are so happy that we no longer have to depend on the Volvo dealer(s) and have nowfound a reliable and customer service orientated operation.

I took my Land Rover to IMG for electrical work a few years ago. They did an amazing job. This was my 1st time at this auto service center. My mechanic retired. I brought my 13 year old Saab in to get it inspected & because I had a sensor light on. The mechanic did a thorough inspection & found numerous big time issues with the car. They gave me an idea of the costs associated with fixing everything & their recommendation. I really appreciated their honesty. They also offered to help me source a replacement vehicle. I appreciated their integrity.

Just had my 2009 audi q5 serviced. I am pleased with the service. They are very professional and had answers for all my questions. It took about a week due to a part that i needed to complete the job. I had a problem with the sun shade for the sunroof. Due to lack of use it failed and was hanging down. Brought my 1999 SLK230 for an issue with ABS sensor. Carl was my point of contact and explained the process of diagnostic evaluation and fee and then the follow up repair in detail including the cost. Work was complete in two days. While my car is nothing special to most but it has a lot of sweat equity and sentimental value to me so I am glad to find a mechanic who treats my car like their own. I will go back in the future.

My relationship with this automotive repair place has ended.I sent my Jaguar XJ8 in for a new headlight repair. They did a great job with that. What they did wrong, was tell my husband that the serpentine belt was bad, there was fluid leaking on the engine and a slew of other items. Mind you, my car had just spent 3 weeks with other Jaguar Certified Mechanics and other mechanics that are highly trusted. All of these things were looked at a day before it even went to this shop because I know they can be dodgy buggers. I know cars. When my husband called me and told me what the company was trying to do, I immediately called them and told them, that they were only touching the headlight and I was sick of these shenanigans and if I found anything tampered with it would be serious. They tried to tell me they did not tell my husband any of that stuff. The things my husband told me were very specific and he isnt a car guy. Why on earth would he make this stuff up? I asked the guy if he was calling my husband a liar? I told him all of the aforementioned work that had been done by the Jaguar certified folks and he suddenly started to backtrack. This was really unethical. There was other work I was seeking to have done as I love my car and hate the new Jags. They wont be laying a hand on my Coventry cat ever again due to this unethical behavior.

Very large and expensive repair to our Honda Pilot. Peter worked to get us the best price on parts and eliminate any items that were not an immediate concern. We were also able to get a loaner which helped immensely. Very professional team.

I have a 2013 porsche cayenne gts. 89k miles. It was slipping in gears 3 and 4. They took me in right away as i was getting ready to drive cross cointry in 2 weeks. They diagnosed the problem, gave me an estimate, fixed the problem and then the final invoice matched the estimate. I strongly recommend internaltional motor group for any and all porsche repairs. They guys are great!

Though I have had great experiences with the BMW dealer in Warwick, they were not able to get me in on time for my trip so i reached out to IMG in Warwick. I spoke with Carl and not only was he was able to get me in when I needed he drove me up to the airport as well.We reviewed the issues with my car, formed a game plan and he kept me in the loop while I was away. He gained my approval before any work was done. They even saved me money by finding a loose wire on another issue that caused the check engine light to come on. What i thought would be $400.00 turned out to be $20.00.They were all very professional and knowledgeable and I have complete confidence in continuing to work with them in the future.

We brought our car in for a minor service and the team was professional, nice and even assisted us with another item we didn’t ask for initially.They have an amazing team and I’ll definitely be back.

I was very hesitant to use this shop a second time after my last experience there, but unfortunately I did, and I am regretting my decision. The last time I went there, I dealt with a very rude and unprofessional service advisor. I was not only overcharged, but also charged for services done without prior notification and authorization. The shop refused to waive the diagnostic fee, despite the fact that I was giving them an amount of money more or less than equal to the value of my 15 year old car. Immediately upon picking up my car, new electrical problems emerged that didn’t exist before. Also, some damage was done to my interior trim that didnt exist when I brought the car. I swore I would never give business to this establishment again. I took it in this time against my better judgment because of the convenience of the loaner car, which is a service most other shops do not offer. My wipers were not working correctly, and it was a safety hazard to drive my car. Also, I asked to have a speed sensor installed on one of my rear wheels, as my ABS system was not working correctly, and another shop identified this as the cause. I had bought the part and just wanted it installed. When I came in to pick it up, they said that the speed sensor I had purchased was incorrect, but they had resolved the problem with the ABS light coming on the dash by connecting a broken wire to a height sensor. The total price came to $1069: over $700 to replace the wiper transmission and the rest was the charge to connect the wire and charge the diagnostic fee. This shop is the only shop I know of that will not waive diagnostic fees if you agree to do the work with them, even if you end up paying thousands of dollars in repairs. I was told that connecting the wire resolved the problem of my ABS light and traction control light popping up on the dash. Unfortunately, these lights came back on within minutes of driving it from the shop. Overall, I feel have been very dissatisfied and overcharged by the shop, and I would hesitate to ever come again, or to recommend it to anyone else. Avoid at all costs!

Took my 2014 BMW 535d xdrive to them with a dash board of lights on. They found my short in the electrical system in a quick timely manor. They fixed the original problem (shorted mass air flow sensor) but gave my car back with another unrelated issue (radar sensor warning light on). They wouldnt even look at the problem to give me an estimate on how to fix it without charging me a SECOND service fee ($135). They even noted on the documentation that they gave me that the 2nd issue appeared while they were test driving it after fixing the shorted mass air flow sensor.

The Air Suspension on my car failed, and my car was leaning on the passengers side of my car and riding on the rear [back] tire. International Motor Group responded immediately to my call for assistance to repair my vehicle. They took my car in the very same day that i called them. IMG customer service people were outstanding , Carl and his co-worker have great people skills and straight transparent communication. They really take care of the customer. They did an outstanding job repairing my vehicle and were able to source OEM parts for my E500. Prior to calling IMG, had done business with the car dealership who for the 3rd time in one year was too busy and had no openings to service my vehicle for emergency repairs. My plan B was going to a so called Elite independant shop who likewise had no openings for 12 days. IMG going forward is my Plan A1 stop for service. Thank you IMG for your focus on customer cares and providing immediate valuable service. You have earned by your merits a customer from now on.

Was very disappointed after purchasing our suv... with service!!! Had the suv a little over a month, engine light came on... called about the issue... briefly shut off and two and a half weeks later back on... called again to set up appointment... was charged to find out it was a gas cap issue.... didnt even replace the gas cap and paid 100 dollars!!!! Wont ever use their service department again!! Very disappointed... considering we purchased 2 suvs and a car from them within a year!!!! Did try to reach out to International but never recieved a call back from them... still waiting for that call well over a week later!!!!!

I fully expected and anticipated paying for the tire repair.
