Please dont waste your time; they wont call you back. If you call them, a receptionist will answer, but a tech wont call you back. I called them two weeks ago and was promised a callback and nothing. I have spoken to builders that confirm that this is standard operating procedure with them.

We had two homes that Draftech helped us design. Designs were beautiful, although we had issues actually building out some of the details, and they had to be redrawn elsewhere. Responsiveness was also terrible. Usually took two or three requests before anyone replied. It helped to cc the owner. Would definitely not recommend. Oh, and having to pay in advance, even as a repeat customer, was annoying.Addendum to original post: Ive changed my rating from one star to three, because someone from DrafTech reached out to me as soon as my review was posted. She took care of an issue that we had been waiting for months to get completely resolved. Thank you.

Draftech did amazing work designing and engineering a residential home that my company, KD Kolnes Construction, is building in Boise. I had a vision for building an open-concept, one-and-half story home on a narrow, sub-standard lot, and the Draftech team executed my vision flawlessly. There are several challenges that come with designing a new, open-concept house on a narrow lot that is surrounded by older buildings, landscaping, and infrastructure. The team at Draftech, however, jumped at the opportunity to design something unique. They took my ideas seriously and brought them to life in a practical and appealing home design.
