The team and curriculum at Mathnasium Durham has given my daughter confidence in herself, her math skills, and encouraged competitiveness within herself to do better (she pushes to reach that next goal). Two years ago she was counting on her fingers under the table in an attempt to hide the fact that she couldnt do math in her head (a.k.a. weak basic skills). Today, she often tells me that kids in her class ask her for help or says we learned this at school today but I already knew how to do it. When she learns new material at school she is earning high marks because her mathematical foundation is strong and shes constantly learning.The owners are communicative, accommodating and passionate about their students success in math; you feel and know that they care. For us, it is money well spent!*note: Despite closure of the physical learning center, the team has taken math tutoring online with interactive whiteboards. I am happy to have this option for additional learning and math practice to supplement the public schools during this new time of online learning!. *

My 14 year kid son loves mathnasium. The tutors take their time to ensure he understands his homework and is prepared for the next days lesson. They are reasonably priced. When the kids are out of school for winter break, they offer prorated prices to keep rates fair. He goes as much as wants at no extra fee. They are great!

Its the solution to every math problem!I recommend Mathnasium to every parent, whether they are concerned about their childs math skills or not. It is a fine reinforcement of what children are learning in school, and an excellent boost for students who need one.I cant think of a better afterschool program. It is tailored to each individual students learning needs, and it keeps the focus on academics in a way that is enjoyable for kids.

The owners are so committed to help every kid that walks in the door!! They are accomadting with schedules, changes and each kids individual need we cant be more impressed. In 6 months that have shown our girl that she can love Math!
