Amazon is typically my go to source for things ranging from lawn and garden to automobile parts. I’m a Prime Member and I think it’s worth the up charge. Now, for some reason Amazon has me blocked from writing product reviews. They claim I’m writing reviews for products that I’ve gotten for free. As of this morning I have more than 277,000 views of my Google reviews of just 40 businesses. So, Amazon’s loss if you ask me. It’s been said “you can tell if it’s going to be a good Christmas or not based on how many time the Prime truck shows up.”

This location is a high volume Amazon Fulfillment Center. They get you in and out based on your load requirements. The facility is easy to navigate, and the staff is helpful for the most part. You can be in and out as little as 15 minutes. The TW Alexander location is one of my favorite locations to deliver in the Amazon chain.

ON Sunday, July 11 at 9:13 PM AMAZON tells me that a package arrived at an Amazon facility in Durham, NC US and that it the Package has shipped. Then on Monday, July 12 at 8:00 PM they advised me that the Package is delayed in transit at 2:52 AM, then the package arrived at a carrier facility in Durham, US at 1:06 AM it is said that a Package departed an Amazon facility in Durham, NORTH CAROLINA USIt was not shipped one time. It is not delayed in shipment. It is simply not locatable. Yet, Amazon chooses to deceive its customers.Very poor representation of intelligent management employees and information systems. Apparently their inventory is inaccurate and stock control even worse. Take into account their willingness to deceive the customer, they are not very intelligent at all. It is called satisfying the shareholder, not the customer. They operate at a loss each year which shows lack of trustworthiness. They do this to cook the books and pay less in taxes. This then means they are shady business people with little, or no ethics.

A very busy and packed parking lot. Unless you work there, I would not suggest being in this lot.

Please people from Amazon delivery, check it twice the address before you drop the package. You been dropping off packages in my porch from someone else address. I can not re deliver it every time. If you cant find the right address please dont leave it in my porch and then you took a picture and said it was delivered. Thats not fair.

I applied for a job at this Amazon. But I received an email stating that my application wasnt chosen. If I would have known that, I would have never applied. This is so disappointing.

I go here all the time to pick up my nephew it’s an amazing place my nephews first job and he loves it there I think it’s very positive atmosphere for him to work in thank you Amazon

The trucks are destroying the medians!!! And nobody cares. Trash all up & down this section of TW Alexander now. Why cant this site get better infrastructure??? The speed limit sign at the main entrance has been knocked down for months.....pathetic.

My package is less than an hour away and still hasn’t been out for delivery. When I talked to customer service they said my package was there and won’t be delivered for another two days. Why does it take more than 3 days total for me to get something that’s less than a hour away? They won’t let me pick it up either, I’m glad Amazon doesn’t ship anything for emergencies for me, worst place in delivery

I’m shocked at how friendly and professional people are here. Great teamwork and great supervisors. Good place to work.

This site has its share of issues from holes in the parking lot, to scheduling issues that make it hard for people to make a living

They never even paid me for working here... I worked a few weeks and they never sent me my check or direct deposit. They won’t answer my phone calls or emails and I have been considering getting a lawyer.

Please update your entance/exit to accommodate Commercial Vehicles.

This a a bad place to work ih services is very unprofessional

They have unloaded my truck, but didnt notify me for hours about it, although my broker and dispatcher have called(they hang the phone, just like that), so I have broken my following schedule for work.It is strongly ill-advised to make live-unload with Amazon, I am disappointed Again. My mates drivers avoid Amazon also.

Its a good place to work if youre lazy, live nearby and dont care. I dont recommend it for people who expect everyone to pull their own weight and do their share of the job or live more than thirty minutes away.

I have no issue with amazon but their traffic management needs some work.

Amazon is amazing!!! Every time I order something they get it out quick and it always shows up correct. Sixty plus orders in the last 6 months and not a single one was messed up in any way.

The parking lot is awful and very confusing at night. Cops sitting around with no lights on not even regular ones blocking ways in and then turn on the blue lights when u try to turn in because its apparently not a real entrance but I wouldnt know that because they funding blocked that sign saying not an entrance. Im never coming here again.

Went as a ride along with a friend for delivering packages from the center to the post offices. Its a great company. They hire independent ppl who have their own trucks which is awesome because it helps people get extra jobs or starter jobs who have trucking experience.

Drivers are affected by the amount of trucks in and out daily, and they often get stuck because the entrance was not designed for the level of tractor-trailers that the fulfillment center is using.

This delivery c### was so petrified of this mysterious, invisible black dog on the stairs that she refused to even leave my packages at the bottom of the steps or even the sidewalk. Rather than try to call me or find a solution to the RIDICULOUS hysteria, she drove off with my time sensitive purchases necessary for my child today. My neighbor and I never saw this dog and pointed out that the stairway was clear before she drove off.... I called right away and was promised that my packages would be delivered again today before 10pm. They were not. Somebody who is so terrified of animals is in the wrong delivery business!!!!! Especially when there werent any animals anywhere and her antics affected my child.

They regularly drop off packages at random apartments rather than to the amazon hub in the leasing office. The delivery picture is so blurry, I cant even tell what apartment they actually dropped off to. I can only tell this isnt my apartment as I dont live in a corner unit. I dont get why they dont just deliver to the hub. It would be less walking up and down stairs. It just seems idiotic.

ORDERED IN ADVANCE OF HURRICANE WITH MORE THAN A DAY IN CASE IT WAS LATE AND STILL SHOWS SITTING IN DURHAM WOULD LIKE MY PRIME MONEY BACK!!!!

2020 November update:trucks are always tipping over cuz its not enough space I dont know why Amazon wont do something about it. Going through the parking lot can be a horrible experience because employees are just slowly walking all around in the middle of the street. theres only one way you can answer and one way you can leave and it has police and security guarding both entrances. Just so happens that exit is where all the big trucks come in at so sometimes they have you waiting because the trucks are blocking the exit cuz theyre so long instead of just having you to leave out the other direction.TerribleDrivers lie about attempting deliveriesDrivers drive aggressively especially off TW.

I work here and sometimes its tough but I should admit that everyone are super in our building from coworkers to management team and HR. I am still a proud amazonian.

Truckers, be careful - very tight parking for empty trailers: there is snow and almost no space to open the angle between bobtail and trailer.

They hold packages all day and dont deliver on time as the tracking indicate. Amazon prime is not cheap and ppl pay for it for a reason, not to get an answer from the employee stating they dont know where your package is like its mot important. The package was scanned at 10:50am and the delivery time was for 8pm but, instead the package NEVER moved onto the truck to go out. Thats lazy, inconsiderate, unprofessional, and for them to just say they dont know where a package is proof that theyre unorganized. They dont answer their phone and as per the Q&A its because they rather ppl use the email...well, it seems to really be because they dont want to have to be recorded and have to actually look for merchandise sitting around in their facility while they sit around watching Netflix, Hulu, drinking or whatever else God only knows what instead of caring about their customers merchandise.The only ppl giving the high rates are employees not customers.

RDU5 consistently ranks near the top of the Amazon network for performance on a daily basis.

Applied for a job here mid November, they emailed multiple times that I was waiting for the first start date. Then they supposedly sent an email asking for my schedule request (which I had already filled out) but never actually got any emails. Then they withdrew my application without any other contact. Quite frankly Im confused by the whole thing, since it was a seasonal position that I applied for and it was the week of Christmas when I heard I got the position.
