John is absolutely amazing!! I have a very old John Deere mower that was neglected for years and didn’t run. He came over, picked it up, diagnosed it, and did the work very quickly and exceptionally well. The bill was exactly what he had estimated and he dropped it off earlier than expected. I wish he worked on cars because I would never use anyone else. Super honest, communicates well and an expert mechanic. We are lucky this guy lives in Durango.

John is the best! Very courteous and friendly. He came to our house to get our snowblower working. He has a trailer to transport machines if he needs to work on them in his shop. We are so grateful to have found him!

Southwest Small Engine have been taking care of my mowers and ATVs for over five years now, never a problem, and always fair and reasonable with the price.

I had my snowblower serviced at another local shop on 32nd st. When I got my snowblower home it died in my driveway and I could not move it. I called John and he made it out the same day. He found that the other company had not put any oil in my snowblower and that my motor had been ruined because of it. Thankfully John got me another motor and got it going before any snow fell. John not only came to my house, but he hiked through the snow and mud to get to my dead ATV in the cow field. He managed to get it running and out of the field, got it up to my house and then did a carburetor cleaning on site that fixed my problem. I was running hay again by the end of the day.
