Quoted 12 contractors from Santa Fe, albuquerque and Durango and Rock Solid was overall the best value. Toured the AZ tile warehouse for slabs and RS had slabs that we had never seen before. Jake was awesome from day one. Wish the timing was a little quicker but I understand that’s the current environment as market.

We had an unusual situation where our quartz counter top was installed, but it was different from the samples. Apparently, something was not done right in the manufacturing process and the appearance was unacceptable for this kitchen plan. Instead of telling us this was a manufacturing problem and to take it up with them, Rock Solid (Jake and Millie) went to bat for us and worked out a plan with the reluctant manufacturer to replace the counter top. The bad top was removed and a new top installed within two weeks and Rock Solid took on a lot of the expense. The double installation and removal was conducted professionally and Jake and Millie’s support was exceptional.

There are really not adequate words to describe the excellence of this company and its staff. At every stage (picking granite, planning, templates and installation) they were professional and amazing. They know their business and the granite could not be any more gorgeous. I have a huge kitchen and there is ONE seam in the entire kitchen. One seam! It is amazing. Most importantly, their customer service was so top notch that they rearranged themselves in order to install in time for a surprise birthday party for my husband. This company is top notch and I cannot rave enough about them. Lastly... their prices were better than the big box store and I got to personally pick my slabs. I am just so impressed that I hope me blabbing all over town about how great they are gets them a ton of business - they deserve it!

Just finished an excellent countertop and shower surround install with Rock Solid Durango. We had some challenging requests in the design and ordering process and the folks at Rock Solid were very accommodating. The install team was very friendly, professional, and flexible. Will definitely use this company again!

These people are extremely unprofessional. My fiancé and I were remodeling our bathroom and went in to the showroom for help picking out granite for two vanities. The gal working seemed annoyed that we did not already know what we wanted and very reluctant to offer help. She did finally show us remnants and make suggestions after an awkward unfriendly start. When we came back into the shop from looking at remnants we met who I believe was the owner and he said to us that we were “too young to buy granite”. We left feeling insulted and uncomfortable. We then bought from Durango Marble and Granite who were extremely helpful and professional. We also recommended them to our friends remodeling their kitchen who bought from them as well. Never would I recommend Rock Solid.

Rock Solid is a great business to work with. They were easy to communicate with from the very beginning. We are absolutely thrilled with the work they did. They provided photos of the granite slabs we wanted to use. Ours was a fairly big job and the cutting of the slabs was done beautifully. We had to have to two seams has the counter was too long for the slabs, both seams were planned out perfectly. The crew that came out to install the granite were super professional and did a great job. I couldnt say enough nice things about Rock Solid.
