I recommend not renting here. I needed a truck, and the cause seemed to be something worth helping but I ended up with a bad deal. The male who assisted me at picking up the van was very curt and obviously mad I was using his time rather than using the online pickup. They didnt have the furniture pads I ordered. He tried to hammer me over the $14 insurance they sell and I still declined, which set him off even more. Upon return, I couldnt use the online return and it was after hours so I left the key in the lockbox. I was late and over mileage so I expected additional charges. I went to the store the next day to confirm the new charges and was informed by the same male that I had already been charged $400 for the damage I did to the front bumper. He was obviously happy he was sticking it to me (possibly because I didnt buy his insurance) . Fortunately for me I had taken a video of the truck (since it was pretty beaten up) before I picked it up. When I showed him the video from the day before of the same damage he was trying to charge me for he said well you will have to take that up with 1-800-UHAUL and turned his back and walked away. To the credit of UHaul, I talked to a great rep named Summer, sent her the videos and they reversed the charges. I again recommend you go to a company store in this area or be prepared to protect yourself accordingly.
