I assist my aunt with property management and one of her tenants was referred to this agency for assistance. The individual completed the application and provided the necessary intake info. Several visits were made to the location by the tenant and each time she was treated as if she was a criminal. Since this is an individual owned leased property there is no TAA lease however the property is managed by a management company and the lease provided was generated by them and is a legal document.The tenant was asked to provide a letter from the landlord which my aunt provided to the tenant and basically the center director Linda indirectly suggested the tenant was trying to fraud the system. My aunt the owner of the property called Linds and was advised that they would not be assisting the tenant because she became angry and stormed out. Imagine that‼️ Linda did not attempt to ask my aunt any info regarding the lease, add’l information which could help assist in providing assistance but instead just ended the call. It’s terrible that an agency put in place to help people during difficult times (pandemic) seems as if they’re racial profiling candidates and making assumptions instead of trying to actually assist them.

A cute little resale/thrift store with fair prices. I like purchasing clothing there because I always know I will not get home to find a stain, tear, missing button or broken zipper. They check each item closely.ALL proceeds go back into our community through the Outreach program to help those that need it. I have experienced their help and compass first hand.

There okay if your not in their city they wont help you

Duncanville Outreach Ministry has been a great help to my family. The past few years when we needed assistance. Whether it be food rent or electric. They were always there. We thank God for this ministry.

Horrible customer Service! I just called about 5 min ago, asked about food pantry hours, and was hung up on! I thought this was a nice place to receive help as I’ve been there before! I called back and was laughed at! Which really hurt my feelings! The nerve of those ladies! I guess that’s what happens you need helped! You end up getting treated like trash! I’ll never return or call ever again!!!!!! May GOD BLESS the lady that couldn’t just answer with a simple NO!

Great thrift store. Sales are used to help needy in duncanville zip codes 75116 and 75139 with food. Paying water Bills and electricity when funds are available.
