When you call, the girls that answer and help out over the phone were great and friendly. When Marvin came out he was very friendly, personable, knowledgeable, and honest. The price for work I had done I felt was very reasonable as well. Ive experienced phenomenal service and professionalism from everyone Ive spoken to at Coomes. I highly recommend. If your A/C goes out, give them a call because they might be able to bring a Window A/C unit for you to borrow while they fix/replace your A/C unit. They really care about their customers. Coomes installed my HVAC system and managed the maintenance of both my AC and furnace. I called them in December to come check out my furnace. After their initial visit, they returned to my property, without my knowledge, on two separate occasions. My tenant notified me that they were there when I had no idea they were coming or why. Tiffany lied and said she called me, but this was not true. My phone records had no calls from Coomes. To make matters worst, 3 weeks later, my unit started leaking and caused damage to the ceiling. Another licensed contractor found that the drain lines in the HVAC unit were improperly installed causing the leak. I read back over the invoice Coomes last sent me stating they worked on the drain lines! I called Coomes several times and they refused to take responsibility or to even discuss options to remedy the issue. Coomes worked on both my HVAC and my furnace drain lines and when it failed, they claimed it wasnt their fault. This damage cost me over $1400. Please be aware of this companys poor workmanship and even poorer customer service! I will NEVER use this company again.

Brandon and the Coomes install team were awesome. Very professional, on time, excellent install and great valve. I was very impressed with the entire teams work ethic. Most of all, in light of todays new norm of social distancing and masks, the Coomes team respected and complied with this as part of their policy. Have been using Coomes for over 15 years. We have their service package and we have never had a problem nor issue with the service. They have a knowledgeable service team. Very respectful to your property as well.

It started with the receptionist who was very polite dealing with my lack of knowledge regarding HVAC. The following day the tech found the issue and explained my options. I decided to go with a whole new system knowing mine was 10 years old. 4 technicians arrived on time and had the old system out with the new system installed in 6 hrs. 2 week later with temps in the 100s its working great and much more quiet.

I couldn’t be happier with my choice to use Coomes Air to install my new home a/c unit. I really appreciated the respect that they showed me and my home. They answered all of my questions and there were no surprises along the way. They took the time to put covers over their shoes before entering from outside and tried not to disturb me or my wife while we worked from home. This was the 3rd company we had come out. I didnt have to ask him to put on his mask. I told him this was our 3rd company and so far it sounds like its going to be expensive. He looked at the unit and said, it doesnt look or sound like itll be expensive. He told me what he was going to check and stated possible scenarios including the worse case scenario and asked was I okay with that. I said yes! Long story short - the first 2 companies didnt even try to fix the problem. Jimmy, with Coomes A/C & Heating did!

I called Coomes Air Conditionning because my heat pump was blowing but not heating or cooling. Your rep arrived at my home very quickly and checked the system and told me that the low pressure switch had tripped but the R410a level did not appear low enough to trip it. He reset the switch and told me how to reset it if it did it again. The rep tried to sell me a maintenance plan where I pay a monthly fee to receive a checkup every 6 months. The rep also said that to add some dye to the system to try to locate a possible leak that had possibly caused the switch to trip would be an additional charge. The cost of just showing up cost me $99.00 and the cost of the visit started going up immediately. I chose to have the tune up done with some R410a added in order to get the visit done as inexpensively as possible. I ended up paying $337.00 to have some R410a added to the system and still not know why the switch tripped in the first place. The system still has not operated correctly and continues to blow air and not heat or cool. I give the company a five star rating for punctuality and responsiveness. The quality and value were lacking.

I called and made an appointment for a vent cleaning and so someone could tell me how much mold I had in the vents. The tech was on time and nice but he didnt clean anything. He gave us a price on a new unit and took almost 3 hours of our morning. I still dont know how much mold I have in my vents and my vents are still not cleaned. I then figured coombs would call me to set a vent cleaning appt or something. But nope. I will not waste my time with coombs.

I called around 7am and their answering service was excellent and let me know they would give me a call back as soon as they opened at 8am. They called me back at 7:30am and was able to get a technician to my house in the time frame of 11-2. They called at 10:20am to let me know the technician was wrapping up at his current site and would be on his way! I was shocked at the promptness of this company. Super friendly technician, very knowledgeable and I like how he presented options and was very clear with costs. No surprises. The checkout system was all electronic, easy, fast and simple. We decided on a temporary fix, and when We are ready financially to get a whole new system, we will be using this company!

My AC went out over the holiday weekend. After calling the company who installed my AC 7 years ago and not getting a response, I called Coomes as a referral from a good friend on Labor Day and received a call back within 15 minutes. Coomes is my go to HVAC Company. Martin is my go to technician. The company is very responsive to their customers issues. Martin is efficient, honest and explains all his work in great detail. In 16 years of doing business with Coomes Ive always felt the were honest with their customers.

Our technician did a good job. He was on time, was polite and efficient. He, however, did not come with a coolant sniffer to aid in finding our leak. Neither did he come with dye to inject with the additional coolant which was needed.I anticipate considering Coomes for Air Conditioning service again as needed. But next time I will ask two or three other service providers what their price would be for just adding more coolant. I didnt do this and suspect that I should have.

We decided to have him install a wet sensor since he said this would help protect our floors if the unit overflowed while we were gone. Tanner came out to check on my unit that has been dragging this summer and was 5 minutes early and was very knowledgeable and efficient. We have used Coomes for several years and recommend them highly. The maintenance agreement is well worth the cost, too. The only complaint I have (this time only) was that the guy left the gate to the back yard open, and one of our dogs got out. It could have been a real disaster for us if we had not been able to find him. We do accept partial responsibility for not checking after the guy left, but I urge you to make your technicians aware that leaving gates open when they leave is irresponsible. Otherwise, I would give 5 stars for service reliability, courtesy, and general dependability.
