My transaction was on 9/3/2021. I paid $75 for a pedicure and a full gel nail set. The staff was very unprofessional with us from the moment we walked in the door. We wanted a certain thing done and they started saying they dont do that theyre which they do. They were trying to rush us to pick out colors and designs. We got our pedicure done and they were sloppy, they had some supplies that were dirty. They were having an attitude with us when speaking. I showed my person the image of the gel nails I wanted and they said ok. They proceed to do my nails a dark red as the base instead of the orange I said to do, my design was an ombre where it was orange to red. Well they didnt do it right and when they tried to do the ombre didnt work because of the darkness of the red, I tried several different colors but nothing would work, they had to end up leaving my nail red with an over coat of just glitter because nothing else would work.We noticed that some of the nails we sloppy and not done right as well. We tried to get out money back, but that didnt happen. They were very ride when we tried to tell them stuff wasnt right. I dont suggest any one to go they. I dont plan on going back.First picture is what I wanted and second one is what I got

When I had gone to Q nails, it was professional the first time around. But after the second time, they were disrespectful and rude to me. Before I had gone on my vacation trip with my best friend we got our nails done before that and they were very messy and nail polish was all over her fingers because the technician did not clean her up after doing her nails. When I had gone in again to try to give them another chance, I always had my ring finger have glitter or designs on them. At that time, I had put my ex’s initial on my ring finger and I had asked them if it could be in the top right corner and small and not over powering the accent nail. The technician did not listen to me about that. I came back to get it fixed after I called them and the owner told me to come back in to get it fixed. I then sat down with a technician they made a snarky remark and a customer made one as well. The customer asked what job field I’m in that’ll allow me to have my nails done and I told her I’m a PCA. She then started saying very disrespectful things and the technician had just laughed and did not stop it. This nail salon was very disrespectful, rude and unprofessional. They do not care how they treat their customers and they are overpriced. They do not stand up for their customers who are being disrespected by the technician’s and other customers. Do better with this. If you keep continuing the things that everyone is saying, your business could easily lose customers because of the disrespectful attitudes that they have. Granted yes there are some nice technician’s there but there’s more that are disrespectful. Don’t go here if you want to be treated like your trash and take your money even if it’s not what you wanted.

I’ve come to q nails a few times and typically get good quality service. This time my experience was different. The technician cut the skin around every single one of my nails as she was trying to remove the gel polish I previously had on. The skin around all of my nails is red, swollen, stinging, and bleeding. I’m hoping it will not become infected.

This is a place I’ve gone to quite a few times for full sets. I walked in and asked if they had time for a full set and polish for my daughter. They said yes. The people are typically nice and helpful with picking colors and stuff. Not today. I showed a picture of what I wanted which I normally do and the nail technician was so rude and refused to help me pick a close color or anything. Then when I said I needed a second to look and they could start on my daughters nails they told me they didn’t have time so we left with no nail services done. I don’t suggest spending money here at all. Go some place else that actually cares about helping.

Best salon in the Twin Ports. Always, always, always call ahead for an appointment as they are busy. Fun staff, Richie the owner is always greeting customers with a smile and sweet story to share. You can get creative designs including gel polish, dip polish, regular polish or gel powder. I wont go anywhere else!!

Got a gift certificate for my birthday and decided to get a mani-pedi. It was a great experience and very relaxing. The massage chairs were great and my tech, Alijah did a fabulous job making sure I was comfortable for my first mani/pedi (ever). Definitely recommend!

I normally love this place, but I made an appointment and they were so busy they rushed on my nails. My nails are messy. The sequins are falling off merely hours later and my gel polish is literally falling off. Very dissatisfied. Even the top coat is uneven and bulky. I dont recommend.

Stopped here prior to vacation to get nails (finger and toes). The experience was fine. People were welcoming and chatty. However my nails are far from what I expect paying the price I paid. I’m disappointed in that I’ve gotten better results from other nail salons. I wasn’t able to get the design I wanted or the polish I wanted originally. I left the store after getting gel polish on my toes and had to return get a touch up and my toes have excess polish. The person who fixed my toe looked at the work but didn’t see a problem with it. I won’t be returning or recommending this place to anyone who wants quality work.

I had an immediate poor experience walking in and being greeted by the person at the register. He very rudely told me to wait until he was ready for me to speak to him.Amy, my nail technician was very slow and lazy about doing my acrylics, being distracted by the tv and all.This was just my latest experience, and not the first time I was very disappointed. My recommendation for good acrylic service is Pearl Nails, very kind and skilled staff.

Had my nails done not even 1 week ago and 4 are chipped. Went in to see if they could fix them and they said no. Terrible service

My mom, sisters, and I decided to do a girls date and went for pedicures. They offered water and instant coffee in the waiting area, I helped meself to a cup of coffee. The selection of nail colors is decent. They offer classic nail polish, gels, and natural polish (vegan, cruelty free, and free of nasty chemicals). I chose the natural and was glad to see they offered the natural polish. I liked that they have liners for the tubs instead of putting your feet directly into the tub; it seems more sanitary. The pedicure included a scrub, lotion, hot towels, and a leg massage. I thoroughly enjoyed it. My tech did an excellent job on my nails, but I smudged them when I put my shoes on even though I had my feet under the dryer for a solid 15-20 minutes. So that was disappointing. I would highly recommend Q Nails & Spa for your next pedicure.

I’ve gone here twice when they did walk ins - generally pretty good quality - occasional unevenness and bumps. I don’t know about the people though, I found them to be rather short with me and a bit rude - especially when I call now to schedule an appointment. I told them my name and went to spell it out and they cut me off and put the appointment under the completely wrong name. I understand they are busy, but that was a bit rude! Will look elsewhere.

I used to go here all the time but the quality has just gone down as the time goes by. I always get acrylic nails and they file so far down, that my nails are in pain. They also tend to get nail polish on the sides on my nails (on the skin) and don’t ever remove it with nail polish remover. They just don’t look good and I always leave unhappy.

My young daughter has been begging for months to have a girls day with grandma and get her nails done for her birthday. With grandma living out of town we wanted to do a last min surprise for her. After calling around the city for openings we were able to book a same day slot here. My first impression was this place is bigger then most nail salons I’ve been too. Very open and clean lay out and had an adorable ‘little kid area’ . Most of the staff were very welcoming and polite . And showered my daughter with candy and compliments.(my daughter is extremely shy and ended up not wanting her nails done anymore because she was overwhelmed, the staff did a wonderful job accommodating us for this and was extremely appreciative of) Some of the staff however were quiet and a little short when speaking to you / and rude. The young gentalmen that did my nails did a wonderful job...however the lady who did my feet .. rushed the pedicure and did a very sloppy paint job(was not impressed at all with this part of the service). Wasn’t the best salon I’ve been to..wasn’t the worst either. Overall fair and clean . Would go back . Just be sure to call ahead.

My nails didn’t even look like the photo, the heart was messed up and looked so so bad barley even looked like a heart, the shape also didn’t look right. The heart looks like a 1st grader drew it. They look like the photo but way way wayyyy worse. I’ve had better.

I went to QNails in the Village Square Mall to get acrylics put on at the beginning of March. I understand sometimes your nails can hurt for maybe a day or two after, but my nails were excruciatingly painful for a whole week! I went back the Sunday after I originally had them applied and they made me pay to take them off and to put a gel polish over them to protect them until they grew out. I was SOOO disappointed, but I just paid it to get out of there. The pain eased within a day or two... Well, here we are at the end of the month... I had a lot growth and went to take off the gel polish they applied. I took them off very gently with soaking them FOREVER and noticed that they didnt take off all the powder from my original acrylics... Once I took off that layer of powder, I was SHOCKED to see HUGE gouges in my nails and some of them are a red/brown like DRIED BLOOD!!! NO WONDER I WAS IN SOOOOO MUCH PAIN!! I found it INCREDIBLY DISTURBING that they PURPOSEFULLY left some of the powder on my nails to DISGUISE THE DAMAGE to my nails, because I wouldve RAISED HELL in the salon and would have DEMANDED A REFUND AAAAND I WOULDNT HAVE PAID FOR THE NEW GEL POLISH COATING TO PROTECT THEM AS THEY GREW OUT!!!! I AM REALIZING THAT IT WAS ONLY TO PROTECT THEMSELVES!!!!DO NOT GO HERE!!! EVER!!!!

Very clean, one of the best pedicures Ive had. They spent a long time and did a great job. The ladies talked to me the whole time.

The lady I had was so sweet, but that changed quickly when I told her one of my nails was crooked. She cut my cuticles up so bad they all started bleeding and she just stopped the bleeding using nail glue. She didn’t push my cuticles back either. She also left huge chips in the gel polish. Not to mention they are all different shapes.

8/7/18 update - went to doctor and they said it was a good thing. Toes are infected and had to get a prescription topical antibiotic as over-th-counter wasnt strong enough and an oral antibiotic.BEWARE!! Picture says it all (I have anti-bacterial cream on nails and toes). Instead of just smoothing the nails with the sander (I dont know the proper name) was slid across my toes. Even the paint job is awful. Ritchies response, sometimes this happens, were human. He said he would refund me 1/2 of the cost of the pedicure! Im going to the doctor, as the sander tool CANT BE SANITIZED!! Q Nails will be paying for that appointment. How unbelievably unacceptable.

This place has an amazing atmosphere and is super nice! The prices werent to high and seemed fair. I went in for a gel fill ($22 on the board) and asked for an accent nail they said it would be $5 extra which i didnt mind. On the left is what I asked for the right being what I got. Now I picked the color and asked for more of a short square so thats my fault. the only complain I have is that I asked for this holographic glitter and they just did silver glitter....I can see the difference but ok. I thought well they are still cute so i wont complain I go to pay they decided to charge me $35 BEFORE TIP.........last time I checked 22+5=27 but hey I paid $40 and left. Im just a lil upset because a new set is $40 and I just wanted a fill. But I enjoyed their service and I will definitely return!

Im disappointed with my experience. I got a full set of acrylics as well as a pedicure. The pedicure went great, but the full set not so much. My nails are incredibly thick and chunky and all different shapes. There are a few nicks here and there. The worst part is that I have some sort of burn on my hand that was not there before I went in. Only giving two stars because of the pedicure.

I can’t recommend Q enough. Sure, sometimes there’s a miss (like with most other places), but almost every time I go here, I leave incredibly satisfied with how my nails look. I usually get full stiletto shaped gel sets, and every time I get compliments on how nice my nails look. I also work as a bartender, and the nails usually hold up over the 2 week span I wait in between fills (unless I’m doing a lot of box opening, but such is life).

Had a great experience! Everyone was extremely friendly clean and professional. My wife and I had pedicures and we both were very satisfied. Her toes looked amazing with the 4th of July Design.

The last few times my sister and I got our nails done the polish was not fully cured and and strarted to peel shortly after being done on both our nails even after getting fixed.

My friends nails were botched. Her fingers were almost bleeding. We were overcharged. My nails are crooked. They didn’t have us wash hands before painting , they didn’t wear gloves, they let us touch polished without cleaning them. VERY UNCLEANLY, VERY RUDE, VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, VERY POOR QUALITY, horrible place. Don’t come here. Also guy at the door wasn’t wearing his mask properly but was asking others coming in to.

Couldn’t just walk in because they were too busy. Had to come back in an hour. I Was there on Labor Day weekend. Nothing too special about this nail salon. It’s not upscale but got the job done. Gel manicure was $34

I am very disappointed with my visit. It was my first time there and it was recommended to me. I had an appointment, appointment was made on time which was great! Staff was very nice. But that wasn’t the issue. The guy I had do my nails didn’t understand anything I was saying and he didn’t speak loud enough or clear enough for me to understand. At first he was doing a good job. Than I started to notice he didn’t know the shape I was talking about. It took me 15 minutes to explain the shape I wanted which was squarely rounded. He messed up most of the nail shapes. Secondly I asked for a full set of gel nails with gel polish. He gave me acrylics instead and didn’t paint the whole nail. Also the “gel powder” I thought he was using was put on unevenly on the nail. And lastly my nail polish and a couple of my nails are already chipping after only less than a week! I will never visit this place again. Do not recommend.

The guy that I was with to do my nails, was talking very quietly and didnt do ANYTHING to my cuticles. He basically drilled off a ton of my skin around the edges. Though, I would recommend Kenny, he usually does my nails, which he does an amazing job. But the guy who I had, was freaking out over a simple design and other workers had to ensure it was simple and fine.

This is my first time to Q Nails and I will be back!  Just had a fabulous gel manicure with Mike as the technician. He took extra time to answer my questions and explain the process with the gel manicure.  Each step of the way he took extra time to make sure everything looked perfect and loved the hand massage.  Ive been to several nail salons in the area and this one is the best Ive found.  Thank you for such a delightful experience.

I have gone to q nails for years. After yesterday’s visit I can’t say that I’ll go back. I called early in the day to schedule an appointment per usual, upon getting there the owner had me explain multiple times what I wanted done, which was fine, I wanted my nails the exact same except in a different color. After the woman doing my nails was done filing and whatnot she had asked for help, that is when the owner told me very rudely that I needed to make their lives easier and pick a different color or design because the woman doing my nails didn’t know how to do it, I politely told him that I would wait for someone else who knew how to do it and he once again became rude with me and told me to stop being so difficult, he getting upset because he was explaining to me that not everyone knows how to do a cut out V design and I once again told him I would wait and and he told me the world couldn’t always be what I wanted it to be. I told him the rude attitude wasn’t necessary as I was saying I could wait for someone else. I feel as the business owner he had no right to say those things to me, he told me that he tells his employees not to do the cut out v because not everyone knows how to do it... maybe make sure your employees are on the same page and act in an appropriate manner as the owner. As a client of q nails for years upon years this was very upsetting to me. I do not recommend q nails anymore. The man that did end up doing my nails was very kind and did an amazing job, so for that and only that, thank you.

I have really small nail beds so its difficult to make full sets look natural on me. They did an amazing job my nails look so natural and no goobers got stuck under the tips. Very cool environment toi

I used to go to Q nails and followed a friend to a new salon to try it out. I made my way back to Q nails and made an appointment today. They greeted me at the door, helped me choose a color, and a very kind lady (I think her name was Ivy) did my fill. We chatted while she proceeded to do the quickest and most well done fill I have ever had. Extremely clean and even nails. I will continue going to Q nails without fail! Very pleased :)

Had an SNS Dip mani by Mimi. Do not recommend. Highly uneven and very thick at the cuticle end of the nail. Debris under my nails, very uncomfortable. Bump on thumbnail polish she couldn’t seem to see to remove no matter how many times I pointed it out. Thumb on left hand chipped upon leaving the salon. Middle finger chipped later that day, index on opposite hand the next day. It’s been 4 days since my dip appointment and all nails are separating at the top and many are lifting at the base too. NOT WORTH $35 at all! Will go elsewhere to find quality. Oh, and they apparently have a policy where they don’t offer tips either SNS. Every other salon I’ve ever been to does this. They should have told me upon making my appointment. They said they get complaints that it chips off... well at my regular salon (closed st the moment), my nails last a solid month with SNS and tips, so it’s about technique, not material.

I come here often. It’s kind of a hit or miss. Pedicures depend on who you have. I once had a lady that skipped half the pedicure and went straight to painting my toenails. Told their boss and she lied about it and said she did all of it. All the while, my friend was sitting in the chair getting a massage and hot towels on her legs. I still had to pay full price. I also have noticed a few times now the lady’s talking about my friend and I right in front of us! Just because we are American doesn’t mean some don’t know your language. My best pedicure was from “Mike.” He is very welcoming and does an amazing job.

Ritchie and the staff here run a very nice salon. Great place. Very clean and well taken care of. Lots of room for walk ins. Guys I advise you try a spa pedicure here. Take care of your feet. Well worth it.

Completely ruined my nails! Not only were the staff impatient, rude, and rushed me into a look that I was ultimately unsatisfied with, she also drew blood and thinned my real nails so much that it physically hurt to use them at all, when to scratch my head. My nails were uneven and asymmetrical, and I was disgusting with them. I felt like crying. Worst visit of my life.

This is my first pedicure. Am awesome experience. So accommodating and friendly staff. I will return...

I got a fill on Monday (July 22nd) and they looked absolutely amazing, Kenny did a great job. Except, Tuesday my thumb chipped so I went back Wednesday to get it fixed. Then by Thursday the same nail was chipped and peeling again. I’ve never had gel polish chip like this before. The shape was the best I’ve had done, but it’s just disappointing they didn’t last at all.

I payed more than i have anywhere else for the most basic service. The front desk person didnt have a mask on the entire time i was in there.

-work stations were messy and still had nail clippings and dust from other peoples nails. They also didn’t replace the towels that other people’s hands and nails were on.- nail polish chipped a couple hours after leaving the salon.- found a little nail fungus on my nails.Would not recommend going here at allI’m giving this two stars because the environment overall was soothing and so were the people

This was the absolute WORST nail experience ever. The nail tech would not do any of the things I wanted- completely did her own thing. It hurt SO bad. And they were so thick and ugly I couldn’t wait to get them off.

Visited Q Nails for a quick pedicure. They got us right in. I was here a couple years ago for nails for a wedding and they have moved down the strip mall a couple places and their shop is awesome! Gorgeous and clean! We will definitely be back for more pampering.

Yesterday I had dragged my boyfriend to come get a pedicure with me. The lady he had was absolutely amazing! I believe her name is Mary? She gave him an amazing leg and foot massage. Just really invested her time into it. I was thrilled to see/hear from him that he enjoyed it!However, mine on the other time I’d give maybe two stars.. I feel as if the young lady who did it didn’t care she was there.. definitely was NOT worth the money on my part. It was more of a Gental touch than a actual foot and leg massage. The only thing I enjoyed from it was the warm towels around the legs and yet they weren’t even that warm.We will return regardless but hopefully next time I’ll actually get my moneys worth of a pedicure. Besides that, we felt really welcomed the moment we stepped into the doors! Thank you.

Ive been going here for over ten years I usually go with two or more people at a time... They have been treating me like they dont know me for the last year or so. Today I found a great replacement in the blue stone plaza. Sam was friendly and I was in and out in less than a hour. Designs hand painted and all. I plan on moving my business maybe you should too.

The nail technicians were very professional and personable. There color selection was great. Also for all the guys out there pedicures feel way too good to pass up, so take your special someone here to score some brownie points and treat yourself.

Nails are okay. But they didn’t do any cuticle care before and rushed me out. Just slapped on the nails and painted them quick which made them messy. Also very rude if you mess up the nail on accident. Very over priced compared to angel nails and angel nails does very good cuticle care and takes there time with you. So would not recommend Q Nails.

Great foot and leg massage . The last time I went here I had jan she cut me and made me bleed. She was very rude after I pointed this out, she blamed it on my shoes I where. The place is updated and very nice . The owner very helpful. Nails always crocked. It like a assembly line her.

I have never had a bad pedicure here. Ive gotten pedicures at many different places, and this place is by far the best- every time. They greet you right away, and they do a great job! They are all hard working and have done a wonderful job with the new place!

Interior looks really nice they look really well put together but when my sister looked at her nails when they were done wasn’t what we were expecting from the reviews. They gave her the wrong shape, wrong color, and the nails had a bumpy texture to them, don’t recommend.

Tammy did one heck of a job for my pedicure. I was not an easy quick one for her today but she was professional. I had ingrown nails on both big toes and couldnt sleep last night with the pain. She listened, wasnt afraid to get in there, and did an amazing job. I left Q Nails pain free and happy. Thank you Tammy. You were the hero of the day!!! Ill be back to see you soon.

My gel manicure lasted 3 weeks and it looked great!

They dont deserve any stars but i couldnt write a review until I checked at least 1.. in the 10 yrs or so of getting my nails done.. this place was by far th absolute worst!! I went in for a gel fill with no appointment, didnt have to wait long, so as the guy was working on my nails, the acrylic had bubbled while drying so there was a ring left sticking out the guy painted over it i said it needed to be fixed, this man filed it down over the polish, then just painted the filed area, leaving it rough and unattractive, i asked if he can fix it, he looked at it and said well its sealed good, it will be fine i said no of course.. he than fixed it (if u can call it that) the corner of that nail broke off in a week.. not to mention I asked for squared nails, were filed crooked and square on the left side of my nails, and rounded on the right side of the same nail, each finger! I just wanted to get out of there, and i live in Minneapolis otherwise I wouldve went and complained in person.. Ive never been so dissatisfied in my life! DONT GO HERE! Ive always used Lynn formally of diamond nails, she now manages pearl nails... I swear by her, they just arent open on Sundays, which is why I got stuck with this awful experience!
