Just wanted to say how thankful I am for the care I received. Brand new to the area and my first visit to a doctor at this location. Strangely, I had an unexpected health event on the drive that required immediate attention when I walked in. From the front desk to the nurses, the physician and the lab guy, each one was caring and professional. Many thanks!

I’ve had terrible experiences here with the doctors. The nurses are very sweet, don’t get me wrong. I’ve been to two doctors here (which i won’t name), that have been incredibly dismissive, and overbearing, i’d go as far to say intimidating. They are not empathetic whatsoever. I’ve had the same woman be very rude to me about birth control multiple times, I believe it’s a personal decision. Every time this doctor fills in for a different one it’s a dread that’s unexplainable. They are not informative to their patients and treat them as they’re inferior instead of hearing them out.

I see two people here, Dr. Baker and Ellen Stephan, APRN, CNP.In addition to these two providers, I can honestly say everyone here at this facility has always been very nice, polite and professional. Everyone from the front desk reception, to the scheduling people.I currently use a wheelchair and they have always been accommodating.These two providers have always been excellent and have taken the time to talk to me personally, get to know me and show genuine care and concern for me whenever I have an issue.I used to go to another hospital in Duluth, another big name hospital we all know, but found them to be rude, incompetent and overall not caring or helpful (its actually how I ended up in my wheelchair). The people I have seen at this clinic, as well as the other facilities and main hospital downtown have always gone above and beyond and I will always recommend them to friends and family.

Having a hard time getting response from dr to authorize my prescriptions when needed. Have waited four days this time and still no authorization for my meds refill and I’m all it of my meds

Felt like I was kind of rushed in and out but other than that the rest was just normal.

I went in very sick to urgent care. Very nice staff. I got swabbed for Strep and influenzas a and b. They stated I would get the results in 30 mins via phone. I went home. I waited and waited.i checked MyHealth several times. No call. No results. 2 days later I called them. They gave me the results over the phone. I asked why I never received their call. I got the standard answer.. I don’t know. I will never go there again.

While Ive never had the illnesses these one star people have had, Ive never had issues with wait time with this clinic in the 8 years Ive gone here.

Good doctors good nurses, but sometimes take forever to send in prescription refills. I know its almost a week early but I am going out of town and I will be an hour away from any Walgreens, and I wont have a vehicle to go grab them, unless driving a four-wheeler on public roads is legal now, haha!

Teach your front desk staff knowledge about lab work. I waited 30 minutes for orders to be put in the computer to receive a TB shot. Once I got back to lab waited around again and the staff told me I couldn’t get the shot after 12:00! What a waste of time!

My husband had an appointment to give blood at 7:15am, he got a text confirming to be there by 7:15 am, we live 1 hour and 15 minutes away and he always arrives early but the clinic does not open until 7:30am. After standing out in the cold trying to get in, he almost wet himself and when he did get in, he was told the lab doesnt open until 8am. This is an INSANE way to run a clinic and inconvenience thier patients. You need to correct the INSANE way you run things there. This is absolutely CRAZY!!!!!!!

Very upsetting. I work for essentia health and I came in with my 4yo who is clearly sick and needs to be seen ASAP. Have been waiting for over an hour an when I asked why we have not been seen no one would give me an answer. This is the worst urgent care treatment I have ever seen!!!

Dr. Groeschl is excellent at what she does and is also a sincerely good person.

Its a hurry up and wait game here. no wonder why people dont go to the doctor like they should. who has the time to take off hours of work to sit and wait just to see a doctor. The lab is horrifically slow. I would not come back to this location again..

Wish I could give them a ZEROSeems like a monopoly to me!Essentia duluth is no better then essentia superior! As a previous reviewer wrote: they practice nonevidence base medicine!They have no respect for the patients, in fact I would say downright mean,I’m referring mainly to the Drs and a select few nurses!Don’t bother going unless your on the edge of death!I have clearly visible ruptured disc, 3 of them, and spinal stenosis. I’ve had 1 spinel surgery all ready and it only made it worse! Now they want to slice me open again and do a fusion and all other things related. And tell me to take Tylenol and ibuprofen, and they’d give me a pain reliever for 2 weeks after surgery! I’m on the verge of walking to the top of the bong bridge and jumping!

Dr. Groeschl was surly and overbearing.
