The gym its good, maybe some equipment missing but its ok. The only downside and real bad thing is the weekend schedule, i mean opening Fridays at 12 has no logic at all, you guys should consider opening AT LEAST mon- Fridays 24hrs, obviously opening Sat-Sun. 24hrs too would be great but at least till Friday. I dont know why hours arent standardized through all PF, Suwannee location opens 24/7.

Locker rooms are always dirty and they only have 3 showers so there is always a line in the morning. They do not have separate changing rooms and do not have or enforce a policy that would encourage people to not change in the showers which obviously bogs up the line.

The worst gym I’ve ever been to. Went as a guest to check it out. I can’t have my gym bag with me, I can’t listen to music without headphones,(what is this a library???) there’s barely any equipment and free weights, we got kicked out on Friday at 9pm.. what gym closes that early??? I guess you get what you pay for.

Not sure why the girl with the curly blonde hair is still working there. She has no customer service skills or people skills and literally is always rude and unhelpful. I’m even reading reviews where other people have been put off by her attitude. Really makes your experience there not as good

Very Good location, however, consistent, poor customer service and obnoxious DayTime experience. The girl with the blonde curly hair never helps, always has an attitude for simple requests, and makes black card amenities a pain to use. I’ve avoided this review for some time in hopes that it’s just a temporary phase, this location is cleanest, the neatest, and is tailored the most in my opinion to their members, but her lack of training makes day experiences a drag.

Plz dont join in a membership at this location. Manager sucks. I lost the app access since Ive cancelled the membership here. The process takes for only one day. I know thats weird and so fast. So Im trying to downgrade again. But the manager never allow me to do that. She said join in new membership and pay annual fee again. I wasted my money 100 bucks here for 3months only. Plz dont join in a membership at this location. I highly recommend Lawrenceville location. They are the best in ga.

Great employees, great energy and great membership plans. The equipment and other amenities are clean and effective. The tootsie roll treats are a nice workout reward and you can grab a Planet Fitness pen to remember your workout community. The locker rooms and bathrooms are clean and there is plenty of visual stimulation or you can bring your own stimulation/motivation.

It has been a while since we have used our membership so we went up today to get new cards. The young lady (dark hair) who greeted us was very nice but was not sure about the cards. She asked the other person at the front (blonde) and with attitude and eye rolling she stated they no longer use cards, you have to sign in with the app. Afterdowloading the app it appears that you do need a card to scan for code. The attitude of the second girl was rude and off putting. This is suppose to be a non judgemental gym.

The team is very engaging, recently joined and signed up with personal trainer as well. Even during Covid I find this gym extremely safe and people respect this. Not to mention the cleanliness is fantastic. Worth every penny you spend, which really isn’t much compared to the other gyms in the area.

I joined this gym about 6 weeks ago and after 2 weeks of trying to navigate it on my own I decided to try out the personal trainer that is included with my monthly membership. All I can say is Wow!!!! Ajith knows what he is doing and is an amazing personal trainer. He knows how to motivate without being a drill sergeant and can actually make working out fun!!!I have been happily seeing him 5 days per week and have noticed such an improvement. Too bad they can’t duplicate him and have him train for more hours to open up availability!!!

Management should vet employees more. This gym used to be more sophisticated and clean. Certain employees are taking away from customer experience. I guess my expectations are too high for such a cheap gym. Get what you pay for.

Good place to work out. It’s not the biggest gym in the area, but it is well maintained. In fact, they just replaced all of the strength equipment and it’s really nice. The membership is also inexpensive. If you’re looking for a quick workout, I’d recommend going in the morning or early afternoon. Such a relaxed atmosphere. Everyone is respectful and mindful of their own workouts. I feel very safe and empowered to exercise here.

Had a one day pass, did a small tour, they don’t really have a lot of equipment but what really turned me away was when they told me i couldn’t hold onto my stuff (my very small purse) and that they had to hold onto it… yeah, no. left right away.

Recently joined PF. I was skeptical at first but this location has surprised me. For $10 a month you cant beat it. I cant vouch for every other location since its generally franchised. Its definitely much smaller than the LA fitness but its less than a 1/3 of the price with less people grunting and having weights all over the place. The people that visit this location are really nice and considerate compared to my 4 yrs at LA fit. The weights and machines are far fewer but currently therere fewer people so you can work out without having to wait for machines. Also for $10 you can only come to this location but if it works for you then why not. Thats 2 fancy starbucks drink. The equipment looks brand new and it doesnt smell like a gym. If youve never worked out and feel intimidated then this is the place for you. Guests range from super seniors to average physique to muscled. So why wait sign up and give it a try. And almost everyone wears a mask while working out although not mandatory except while using the treadmills that would be nuts. See you at PF.

Always dirty, staff sits on the phone the entire time and dont clean tanning bed before use but will ask if you have googles.

They upgraded equipments several months ago & shower with sitting area on each stall.

I vibe with it, its got everything you need/expect from a planet fitness, my only gripe would be that its not a true 24 hour gym, weekend hours are pretty much daylight only but thats all good, I work third shift so I tend to just go to another planet fitness on those days for my 4-5ish am workouts

Clean, no wait, welcoming staff...truly a pressure free zone. I would say 4.6....5 if there was a pool :)

Update Nov 2019: The customer service here is non existent. I honestly think that they would not only retain but get many more members if they smiled and showed an ounce of interest in their members. It costs nothing to have great customer service... Go ask Chick-fil-A next door.Original review: This is a no frills gym, but you cant expect anything more for $10 a month. They have minimal staff, the place is clean, and the equipment is mostly well maintained. I wish that people would use the 30minute express circuit as its intended, as I get tired of trying to do the circuit only to have people go in there and sit on the same piece of equipment for ten minutes.

First time at this club. Social distancing was good but some people still didnt wipe machines down. All usable machines should have a tag indicating that the equipment should be wiped down before and after usage. This should be mandatory. Equipment is old but still useful.

Nice, clean facility I go pretty late in the evening so it’s never really crowded & the staff is super friendly and helpful.

My wife and I were not happy with this establishment and cancelled our memberships. Over all, in our experience, the management seems to care more about the numbers than their customers. A month after we had signed up originally, the manager would not let my wife enter even though she was a member. At the time, we thought, maybe it was just the personality of one person. But, other problems. When we first signed up they had told us the initial $39 fee was just a one time initiation fee to get us to sign up. But, a year later we saw more charges on our bank statement of over $80.00. When we brought this up with management, they only pointed out to us their fine print and would not acknowledge any verbal deception. Of course.... Also, not to mention, the place is old, dark, and depressing. Although, fairly cheap, you get less than what you pay for in our opinion. Not an environment to motivate you to exercise. Plus, although other Planet Fitness locations are 24/7, the ones in this region are closed on weekend evenings when many people want to exercise. In our experience, Planet Fitness management does not care about you the customer. We felt we had the responsibility to warn others. Avoid this place.

Ive been a member of this gym since they took over from Golds. Golds had some shady people working there. Planet Fitness is great. Its not for everyone though. If youre a big muscular guy and want to lift (and slam) heavy weights, this gym is not for you. Like they dont even have squat or bench press equipment. They do have Smith machines though. Its quiet. People are friendly. The staff is friendly. Good gym for getting a good workout in. Oh, and its really affordable too. Im a Black card member as I travel. I can go to any gym I want, pretty much wherever I go. No more excuses Im traveling and theres no gym to workout at :)

My wife and I have been coming here for almost 2 years. We have both only had positive experiences. There are enough weights/strength machines to get a good workout. Tons of cardio equipment. Is it a Golds gym? Absolutely not! Is it a crossfit box? No. If that is what you are looking for they are around. If however you are looking for a place to increase your strength, cardio, and general health and wellness everything you need is here.On top of that the staff is very friendly. I constantly see them cleaning/disinfecting equipment. They have also been very responsive to suggestions for improvement.

This Planet Fitness is clean, not crowded in the early morning and is taking health and safety protocols to keep everyone safe. Members have all of the cleaning supplies to wipe down equipment before and after use and lots of hand sanitizer throughout the gym.

I put my account on a freeze and they continued to charge me monthly fee’s 3 months later. After calling to discuss I was told I needed to call in every month to continue the freeze, this was NEVER told in any previous conversations nor did they start charging the next month. I told the local rep that I wanted to cancel and was told I needed to come in or mail it in writing.DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THE UNPROFESSIONAL NATURE THEY EXUDE

Visited as a guest and was completely amazed. The equipment is high end and kept clean. They have every variety of equipment or training you could want. Will be getting membership soon.

The mens restroom have enough stalls and showers for everyone. The showers are large enough to shower and a place to set your belongings and get dressed.

Decent gym. This location is 24/5 which I find annoying. 7pm close on weekends is a bit too early.

Why do I pay $23/month just to be told there’s a 10 visit limit to this gym? Also, why do you guys enforce it? Not every gym enforces that rule but you guys take it to a whole different level. Money hungry. Also, man in the front takes his job way too seriously. I drove here at least let me workout given that I didn’t know about this rule.

The gym is very small and is about as useful as a hotel gym if you are wanting to do weight training. I would recommend going across the street to the LA Fitness.Nobody cares if you are over weight in the gym. Everybody there is just there to work on themselves like you are. Don’t go here simply because it feels safer just bc they say it is.

I visited this location about 6 months ago and this is by far the least impressive PF I have visited in the metro area. Seems like they have less equipment than most other locations and the locker rooms are kind of dated and in need of some remodeling. Kind of disappointing but at least the equipment seemed to be well maintained and in operational condition.

Clean and everybody wears their masks. Weights stay racked too, so thats a big plus in my book. Im hoping it stays this way.

Just bought a membership at this gym.. however not a very welcoming experience today.. your blonde personal trainer was up front distracting the workers about the people that use the gym. Using vulgar language to describe the people who used her class. I thought this was 100% judge free zone. I would definitely never utilize this service. And may switch to the LA fitness across the street.

The black card allows me to go to any Planet Fitness, anywhere. Now that I am traveling for work again, it is a great convenience to have.

Small for a gym but well spaced and organized to keep all the equipment in one area. Has tanning and massage chairs and a vending machine for drinks and snacks. Lots of windows so feels more open than it is which is nice. Showers arent that great and the curtain doesnt always stay closed all the way so I wouldnt recommend showering here but for a simple daily gym its 10/10

Ive been a Black card for years now and have visited many Planet Fitness gyms across the country. This one needs some updating. The cardio machines have been updated, but this one is missing other nice items like balance balls, medicine balls, etc. The bathrooms were a bit strange as the toilets were away from the sinks, but the showers were across from the sinks. Its a place to workout and worth the $10 a month, but its not a good representation of Planet Fitness as a whole.

Ive been a member here since it opened. They remodeled this location not to long ago and the place is great. Its pretty sad how one bad experience with people and they have to bash an establishment. Maybe the person who was suppose to open the gym that day got into a car accident. Your more worried about getting your workout in then to even consider if the employee was ok. You Ric in particular, you have reviewed 8 places on here and all 8 are one star comments and bad experiences. Your the type of people who expect companies to bend over backwards to make you happy. Companies have policies to follow and Im glad Planet Fitness doesnt just give in to people like places like Wal Mart, Kroger etc.. Maybe you should have read your agreement after you signed up and if you didnt like it, cancelled. Sometimes these kids may word something differently and it doesnt come of right, they are kids and they are working a job just like you and me. Its called an annual fee and it comes out once a year, thats why its called an annual fee.

This place is huge for a PF. The only qualms I have with this location is its not 24 hrs all week(only up to Thirsday I think) and the lack of shower booths(only 3) compared to the size of the facility. Otherwise, great bang for the buck as always.

They can’t even open on time on the weekends. It’s ridiculous, don’t expect to be able to go work out when they first open. I’d recommend LA fitness across the street at least they know how to open on time.

This gym is terrible. After visiting other PF facilities youll be very disappointed when you visit this one. The facility is very small, the restrooms are old and dated. I didnt stay long enough to see the amenities such as the circuit training. Honestly, I dont think they have circuit training. Also the hydro massage bed was in a little closet. Nah after being there for 5 minutes I left and went to another facility. Highly disappointed because this location is close to my job.

Its a good gym for people who are starting out. The price is great compared to la fitness and lifetime. I heard that they are switching out all of the equipment.

My preferred location to workout and a great place to meet a friend for a workout. The layout is very conducive to a fast, effective exercise experience.

Spacious gym with plenty of equipment, renovated locker room/restrooms and the price is fair.

I only used this location once so far, but it was a great experience. No complaints at all. Clean showers, great equipment, large fans...all good!

Overall we enjoy the gym. My fiance & I are here about 3 times out of the week. It could use a little work though. We would like to see the 30 minute work out area transitioned to something else. It seems to be wasted space as no one is ever over there going through the series when we go. We would like to see some more ab machines as well--there are only about 4 in the entire gym. Also would like to have a different water dispensing system (versus standard water fountain). Something with paper cups to keep germs down. (Ive seen people wet their whole head/faces in the fountain--GROSS!) Otherwise we are happy with the gym :)

Not sure how this gym has such a high rating. I’ve been here at the same time to workout (evenings) and I will walk in and the young lady literally will watch me scan my card (if I get lucky) and not say one word. No “hello”,no “good evening”, just crickets. The staff they had previously always had a smile when I walked in AND said hello. Not sure what changed. Anyhow, the overall quality seems to have gone down.

Only $10 per month for basic membership with no contract required, although there is an $79 per year fee. Members cannot engage in intimidating behaviors that attempt to shame others. No Lunks is their motto. No showing off permitted. All ages and body shapes are encouraged to join. Very comfortable environment. Plenty of equipment. I love PF.

Don’t sign up using this as your “home” gym—Especially if you don’t get a black card! You’ll get the bare minimum maintenance here and lowest grade gym equipment and locker room in this gym. Doesn’t seem to keep employees either. Female locker room and bathroom is unusually cramp and narrow...like really tiny and run down.

Wanted to get my wife her own membership as a surprise. How can it be a surprise when she has to come to do it with me and no I didnt want to do it online. I know her information and its my account the money is coming out of so whats the big deal. A picture can be taken on her first visit. Im trying to put money into youre business. I think it ridiculous that I couldnt do the information then surprise her when its coming out my account. On top of that I already have a membership. This is ridiculous

This location is a complete disappointment.. I know that planet fitness is a cheaper alternative to other gyms but they make enough money to have better equipment and facility. This location should really go and visit other locations in the area like the one on Pleasant Hill Rd and update this hole... I know they are limited on space but geesh... Im really hoping Peachtree Corners gets a location or back to LA Fitness I go.

The personal trainer Daniel Hodsdon is the only reason I belong to this gym. The gym is small and equipment is very dated. I know several other PF locations have far more to offer than this one. That being said, Daniel is a great motivator and will challenge you to do things you never thought you could do!

Ive been to a couple of the planet fitness locations in the area, my home one is chamblee tucker. Of the ones this one seems the smallest, while not a bad thing, its a bit of a shift from what Ive come to expect our of most PFs. Biggest difference is the black member section is almost no existent and there is no wifi at this location. Its a useful backup location at least.

I was a member at this location for several years and while I was never particularly impressed, it was cheap and I only needed somewhere to go about once a week when it was raining or too cold. But cheap is really the descriptive word here. The equipment feels cheap and just a couple years after opening half of the headphone jacks didnt work properly and the equipment started looking worn. Not to mention that the staff was totally sub-par. They would start turning things off a full 10 minutes before closing time and when I called to ask about a lost personal item at one point, they clearly couldnt have cared less.But the real cheapness of Planet Fitness was on display when I tried to quit. They nickle and dime you by making it as difficult as possible to quit. Be aware that you have to send a certified letter or go down there in person and sign a form just to terminate your membership! It was easier for me to quit cable and we all know how difficult that can be! And they still charged me the annual fee, days after I had signed my termination form. When I asked for a refund, they hid behind corporate despite the fact that these locations are all franchises and are individually owned. They obviously could care less about individual members. I guess when youre operating a business on being the cheapest, its all about volume and not about service.I dont normally write a lot of reviews, but I felt it important to warn others about this experience. I will also say that I switched to the new LA Fitness just down the street from this PF location and I love it. $30/month, no sign-up fee, no annual fee and no contract. And its an amazing gym with very friendly, attentive staff and high-quality equipment.

This location is ok, the machines are older and although a lot of people work out at this location, there are always machines available.

You are going to the gym to work out to push your self. If you come to this location or many others, youll probably be restricted from1. Jumping with a rope2. Bring your purse or gym bag with you3. Working out with your friendand some other things that simply slow you and your progress to be better down.They say planet fitness is a no judgement zone, a place to hit it hard, no limitations, bla bla bla. bs.But they dont let you use things to work out, they dont allow you to bring your friend (whos also paying a membership) to work out with you. What if one day you forgot your lock at home and you take your gym bag with you around the gym? Youll probably get kicked out for not agreeing to give your personal items to a complete stranger to save it for you in the front.This is a complaint review for Planet Fitness, HOW COME YOU ARE A GYM OK? A G Y M ! AND YOU DONT ALLOW PEOPLE TO JUMP ROPES????????????? They said to me it was a liability issue, but they have TRXs and bands, and ropes, and other long strings that are used to workout. WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE? I can hurt myself with absolutely all of the above, and it would probably be a bigger liability since YOU Planet Fitness PROVIDED THEM TO ME! When I bring my rope, I AM responsible for it, I AM responsible for hurting other people, I AM responsible for hurting myself!And not only that, the staff would RUDELY ask you to leave the gym because you brought your ropes or your purse or your workout friend.

I am very disappointed in this location. I have been traveling all over the southeast for the last year and have always been welcomed no matter how long my stay. However, this loaction refuses to honor my membership. There is no mention of a 10 visit limit for black card members anywhere on the website, nor in my contract. Nothing about my experience today would make me ever want to make this my home loaction.

Definitely one of the older Planent Fitnesss. Had everything I needed, not a lot of extras. This is not a 24 hour location even though Google says it was.
