Ive been getting my hair cut here since the 90s when Fred was the barber. And Ive continued going here for good reason. Jim is a highly capable hair stylist, as are the other barbers. The atmosphere is unlike anywhere else in Duluth, and for the price, the service cant be beat. Highly recommended!

Amazing service. Jim and the other barbers always impress me with how much they remember me. Name, where I work, interests, and Im only there about every 3 months or so. Haircuts are always top quality and very affordable.

My husband paid $105 for a straight razor shave at the Mall of America. The guy got his beard and moustache crooked!!! We stopped here for a haircut and my hubs got the best haircut and his beard and moustache trimmed to perfection for 18 bucks!!! We had a really nice time...Everyone was friendly and professional. Highly recommend!!

Where are the other 5 stars for the rating? This is the best....and I mean the BEST place for a man to get a haircut in the Twin Ports Area. Precision that cannot be matched anywhere. I have had the hot shave cream and straight razor before in other various barber shops in my life, but this shop is different. Its Cableas meets Bass Pro Shops feel will make the wait all the more enjoyable. Barber shop talk is accompanied with some of the best Bluegrass music youll ever hear.What are you waiting for.....Go get a Haircut. This place will not disappoint!

This is the best barber shop in Duluth. It is a little hole in the wall with three chairs, and is super old school. They dont take appointments and only take cash for payment. (Ok they might take checks, but I cant confirm as I never have my checkbook on me.) They also do beard shaping/ trimming with a straight razor, but sadly not full shaves.

Great barber shop in East Duluth. I got tired of supporting chain hair cutters like Sports Clips and Cost Cutters and went on a hunt for a local shop. Now Ive been going here for over a year and have not been disappointed about service. Its not the cheapest cut, but its the one I feel best about. As of late, theres been 3 barbers here to my knowledge, Jim, Brian, and Matt, who have been pleasant to get to know. It can get pretty busy. Ive found coming here on weekday mornings is best.

I decided to go since my usual barber was booked for weeks. I went in expecting a great haircut after I saw all the great reviews. I received the worst haircut I’ve had in years. I even showed the barber a video before hand to make sure he knows what I want the haircut to look like, but he absolutely butchered it. He didn’t attempt to make any conversation and seemed a little nervous the whole time. Maybe he was a new barber or something, but he couldn’t even get the fade right. Very disappointed, and won’t be going back. Guess I’m gonna have to wear a hat for a couple weeks.

Every two weeks like clock work. I love this place.

Jim and the boys at Lakeside Barber shop know how to cut mens hair and make ya feel at home. Im a balding old white guy and my son is a hairy Brazilian boy and they get both hair styles perfect. My wife wont let anyone else cut my boys hair.

I had been going to this barbershop for over 10 years. I moved in 2013. At one point I drove from south superior every couple of months to have my hair cut by these masters.Their cuts are well priced around $15, and do a full hair line straight shave. They do offer washing and other extras at an extra cost.The staff is friendly and two of their barbers have over 30 years of experience.A real mans barbershop.
