The front desk staff is always very helpful and friendly. The therapists take care to listen to what you need from your session and make you comfortable throughout the session. Highly recommend.

Dont get stuck with a contract here, I have one payment left and they refused to give me my Cancelation paperwork. Meaning my 6 month membership will be at least 7 months unless their corporate office does something. Who has heard of a place refusing a 30 day notice that takes place after your commitment would be fulfilled.Dont get stuck with this situation yourself, there are many great massage options in Duluth.

If I could give them less than 1 star I would! When I scheduled my appointment I was asked no questions about the type of service or any accommodations I needed (I recently found out I am pregnant), all I was asked is if I wanted a massage or a facial. I drove all the way there (70 miles round trip) only to find out in order for me to get a massage I need to schedule with certain therapists! I have a gift card from my husband and this experience has made me so mad that I don’t know that I will ever use it! Especially not at this location.

So, it kind of breaks my heart to give this review because I love Massage Envy, however, the work here just isnt up to my standard. The facility is nice and up to par. The massages, however, are very limited to light pressure and the ones who do deep pressure well are always so booked that you cant really get an appointment with them. They consistently have call outs and dont notify you of the change so that you can choose to have a certain masseuse. Unfortunately, half of the time I leave here feeling like I didnt really get a professional massage. Also, the number of times my professional has gotten me from the lobby late is quite high which cuts down on my already 50/60 minutes. I am just disappointed in this location.The front staff is very nice and on the ball. The people who work here are very kind. It just isnt very efficient if I am honest.

I recently signed up for as a member to receive a monthly treatment (massage, facial etc). There is no bait and switch or scams going on but you must take the time to understand the membership and how it works. Basically you get a monthly treatment at a reduced rate for joining for a year. Your monthly payment is taken out of whatever account you prefer as with most similar memberships. For example a gym membership. Frequently people sign up for things and dont take the time to understand the policy. I, personally, had an excellent experience in Chicago and signed up. Now I am looking forward to my monthly massage or facial at Massage Envy in Duluth. The only thing I wish was different is when you sign up for an hour massage that includes 5 minutes each at the front and back of the treatment to dress and undress. Most massage therapists allow up to 15 minutes at both ends in addition to the hour treatment. With Massage Envy you end up with with a 50 minute massage. As this is a franchise the local business has no ability to just change this

Do not go to massage envy. They rip you off completely. I went in there a few months ago to cancel my membership and all they told me is you could only freeze your account for 3 months thats it. So thats what I did because that is what they told me. Its been three months now and all of a sudden I got charged for a 65 dollar massage that I never got. They didnt call to tell me I was getting charged or anything. How can they charge me money when I have been to the place in over 3 months. I called to get my money back and they said you signed an agreement for no refunds. They just want to rip you off of money and dont care about anything else. I finally was able to cancel my membership completely and will never go there again!

When I came here with my grandmother I had never gotten a professional massage before. But after I left I felt very informed and relaxed! From the moment I called to ask about pricing I knew this was the place I wanted to go to because the guy who picked up the phone was so sweet and gentle voiced that I could understand him and I felt valued as a costumer. And when my grandma n I walked in the two girls who greeted us were very friendly. Once the massage started the woman was very clear n warm about everything she was going to do with me. The whole experience was great! I would go here again!

Was somewhat disappointed on a couple occasions.. massages didnt seem thatbgreat. more than once employees didnt show up on time for appointments.

I got a massage at Massage Envy in Duluth before running the Grandmas Marathon. Steven at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. I received a massage from Andi and had a great experience. She was friendly and asked questions to help provide the services I needed to help me overcome some aches and pains before the race. With her help, I was able to cross the finish line!

I had a membership here and ended up canceling it because I would schedule appointments far in advance because I know sessions fill up quickly. Nearly every time on the day of my massage I would get a call just a couple hours before my appointment saying that they had to reschedule. I have a very busy schedule with work and school and Massage Envy was not easy at all to work with to try and get in for a massage. After canceling my membership I still had a few sessions left on my account and I actually tried scheduling one a few days before I was leaving the country to study abroad and again just a couple hours before my appointment they canceled and were unable to reschedule before I left and I ended up losing out on the remainder of my sessions that I had already paid for. Unfortunately, I would not recommend massage envy to anyone at this point it became more stressful trying to deal with them than relaxing.

Every individual Ive met here is fantastic! They make it a comfortable atmosphere for every visit. Each therapist has a genuine care for me as the client. I have and will continue to refer people here! Thanks, Massage Envy!

I had Tina as my massage therapist and she did an absolutely amazing job! All the staff is really friendly and very accommodating. I would definitely come back!

My first year membership is over. I won’t sign up again. Too big of a turn over of therapists to get consistent care. Scheduling was also a big disappointment.

I had Joe do my massage....amazing! Best massage ever and if you go...make sure you ask for Joe. Im not from the area and unfortunately just visiting, but if joe were at a massage envy near me, Id be there at least once a week! This therapist works magic!

I got a gift card from my husband for Christmas to use here. The first time I was going to go, I emailed them asking if there were openings. They had two so I emailed back that I would take the 1 Oclock. When I got there, they had nothing on file under my name. This is an hour drive one way for me! They told me they always call back to confirm (like it was my fault) and gave me a half hour extra for my next massage. Ok. I went the next weekend and my massage was good. The next appointment I made got canceled because the girl got ill and was in the hospital. No big deal, but I had a gift card that was going to expire in 3 days. I asked if they would honor it past that date. and the girl said well there are a lot of days left. I had to re-look at my calendar thinking I was a weekend off.. nope! Apparently 2 days of openings are enough. I will never go back here. Therapists are great but the front desk staff is terrible.

I am the owner of this location. It is so sad that a former employee is having their friends write these horrible reviews in the last couple weeks. Our staff will walk you through the membership details carefully and in great detail. The same goes with how and for what a gift card can be used. As for the cameras...they are only in our reception area. We have 17 wonderful therapists ready to help you with any aches and pains that you have.

I went in to get a gift card the other day and the guy at the front desk who helped me was very rude and very pushy. He came off demanding and wanted me to spend more than I had in mind. He seems like he is all about the money. So I told him Id think about it and come back another day. He tried to get me to buy it right then and I didnt want to, so I left. I would not recommend this place to anyone after what I experienced with just trying to purchase a gift card. Ill bring my business to someone else!!

Dont sign up for their membership, they NEVER have available appointments. No available dates would work with my schedule so i asked to cancel after 4 months of having this membership (I only signed up bc the 2nd purchased massage within that month is only $40, buuuuuut they never have openings so save your money) and of course they wouldnt let me. I had to go get a new debit card b/c they wouldnt stop charging me even though they were the reason i couldnt get in. Too bad they arent accommodating to members.

This place is awful. The front desk staff truly care, and the therapists do as well, but Massage Envy and the managers working for Massage Envy do not. Dont get me wrong, therapists are great, and do awesome work, but all Massage Envy as a whole cares about is getting money and getting memberships.

I went and got a 1 hour massage a few weeks ago. The male manager was unnecessarily aggressive and rude towards both me and the woman working the front desk. The massage was fine, but with the total lack of professionalism on part of the manager, I cant recommend this place to anyone. Try

OMG, I was also ripped off by this bait N switch of a promotion. This cost me over $200 to get out the contract just for 30 minute message. My husband was really ticked off and we let all of our friends know. This place is bad business, I agree avoid them. Also special note girls...Your being video tapped from the minute you walk in until you leave. So in that back room the creepy owner can watch you mostly naked, but they claim its for legal reasons and your safety. BULL CRAP, creepers this place gives me the creeps. I warn all my friends about this place.

Horrible service! I scheduled an appt less then 12 hours before appt and called back 2 minutes after they closed to cancel and they charged me 50%. Don’t ever ever make an appt at Message Envy in Duluth MN. I can see if I schedule days before the appointment. I have heard horrible things from previous employers and increasing charges without members knowing etc but this is crazy. I will never step foot in that place again.

Ive been visit Massage Envy for a few months now and have found the staff to be really helpful and sweet. It may take a few visits to find a masseuse that fits you.

My massage therapist was wonderful, but I spent 10 minutes after my massage being sold to come in on a monthly basis and it seemed a little pushy for my first time there.

Reasonable cost. Some very good massuses.

Cold called about job opportunities, somehow had my name, personal cell phone and knew I was a practicing esthetician and gave no reason as to how they acquired this information. Why would anyone want to work here if they are cold calling people in the salon industry? Comes across as desperate and tactless.
