Most reliable taxi service in town. When my license was suspended they got me to and from work and around town for almost 3 whole years!! Thankful for their service and friendly drivers.

Made taxi arrangement from hotel to airport. Pickup time 4:20-4:30 a.m. Instructions I received were: “Driver will call you upon his arrival so you’ll know when he’s outside” Sat inside hotel until 4:25 a.m. No call, no taxi. I called company SEVERAL times and there was no answer no voicemail (so I guess it’s not really 24x7 service). I spoke to hotel front desk, who told me “the green taxi? … he was outside about half hour ago.” So he arrived too early, never called, never came into lobby, and then just left before pickup time. Now my family of 3 is stuck at the hotel, with a son on crutches, trying to figure out how we get to the airport for a flight that leaves in 1 hour… thank goodness the transportation the pilots (who were apparently staying at our hotel) use to get to the airport had room for us.Company never returned the numerous unanswered calls I made in search of our driver. Poor poor poor service! If you REALLY need to be somewhere, don’t depend on them!

I called and called got no answer. I was sent to voicemail after 2 or 3 rings 5 or 6 times. Thatis not good quality service. I ended up using a different taxi service.i called green cab again today at 7-19-2021 @ 4:51 before shift change. They are lazy and dont want to answer. 2 or 3 times I was sent to voicemail after 2 or 3 rings. Also 1 time after the first ring. They are lazy and dont want to answer close to shift change. I dont recommend them to nobody.

Pretty good taxi service, they have always showed up when they say they do. Never waited longer than 30 mins for a cab, when they answer the phone that is. Often they just wont answer the phone.

My 15 year old took his first taxi with #1 Green Cab and do so solo. He said the driver was friendly and made good conversation. I was thankful he made it to his destination safely and had a good experience.

Price was high$ 36.25 to take me 9 miles But driver was nice and I needed it . So overall I would use them again

We used #1 Green Cab while visiting Debuque for a weekend. We didnt have a car, so we used them our entire trip to shuttle us between our airbnb and everywhere else we needed to go.Every trip was professional, prompt, and very friendly. Almost like our friends were driving us around. We loved them, and recommend them to everyone!Thanks to all our drivers!

I called approx 45 minutes ahead of time, needed a ride home from work. They said no problem. The cab never showed. Tried calling to get approx. ETA. They ignored my calls. I then had to scramble to find another available taxi service. Luckily, someone canceled their ride with a different cab service. I DO NOT recommend these people.

I called the Green Cab company after A1 Cab company driver was so rude and disrespectful to me. The Green Cab at first quoted me a cheaper price to take me to Maquoketa then called me back and said that it was going to be a higher price. But that is the only complaint I have with Green Cab was the price issue but other than that they were on time for picking me up and got me to where I had to be safe and the driver was great to talk with and had a great personality and pleasant.

The rip off driver, charged $17 to go 8 minutes away, when I try to get the rest of my money the dispatcher lied about his name and the driver name.Uber & Lift was charging $10 and $11, Green rip off cab, charge $17. I will be filing a complaint. Never use them, NEVER

I was driving in Chicago where pickups are within 4 mins unlike here in small town where pickup is more than 10 to 15 minutes to drive to customers location and customer dont even like pay tip. I feel driving here in town is not worth. Driving to customer location for 15 mins is waste of time and fuel....

They never answer the phone, they’ll literally pick up the phone and hang up on you.

Unfortunately the last several times I attempted to receive a cab they tell be a time limit, I call ten minutes after the time limit is exceeded and then get sent to voicemail. I love green cab when they are “available “ but it’s unfortunate when they tell me 29 minutes, I wait nearly 45 and no response or a call back.

Never have enough cabs on the road...Need to clean voicemail box out, it is always full. Hobie come back....My favorite driver is Neil.

Idk if the driver didnt know where he was going, or if he was trying to charge us extra. He definitely went out of the way, taking longer than needed.

Always timely and safe drivers. Would give a 5 star review, however, company should provide cellular devices for their drivers, to avoid epayment issues.

Wow I looked through the reviews and all minorities/African Americans are leaving the bad reviews and the good reviews are from whites I called several time from my phone they didn’t answer I called from a app number they answered immediately.they act like they don’t want to service me or any blacks I will be doing a full investigation and reporting this matter .

They are always prompt and very helpful as well! I had 36 min to get to the greyhound station and I was quoted an hour by two other companies. They showed up in 13 min and got me to the bus station with 2 minutes to spare- WITH A COP BEHIND US THE WHOLE TIME!!! 💯💯💯

Terrible. Applied for a job, was on time, cked out vehicles: two with flat tires, three at curb so long spiderwebs connected fm tires to ground, others covered in dust. They were 20 minutes late to the appt THEY set up! If this is how they treat potential employees, cant imagine how they treat paychecks or customers! Irresponsible!

Has a 5$ minimum which is awesome if you need a quick ride somewhere

I get good service on any day except on Wednesday and Thursday they are sort with me and always say there is an hour to hour and a half wait even though it says that 4am is not busy o. The web site

7/6 and 7/7 Seems like after 5 o’clock it’s impossible to get a hold of anybody. I’m a Hirschbach driver and have been trying to get a hold of them for an hour.

Called this company to get a ride from the airport. I was promised a driver would be able to pick up in 20 minutes. After 40 minutes I called back and was told was held up and they would call another driver to come. it has now been an hour with no ride and have missed a very important meeting. Would not recommend this company if you would like reliable service!

Im so happy Im from a city that has plenty of uber and Lyft drivers. Green charged me $26 to go 7mi. The same ride would have been $12 $15 at the most with uber. The driver was doing 70 in a 45 no exaggeration. The van had a headlight missing. On top of that i had to listen to master p from no limit lol. Wont be using them again.

Ive used this service three times so far, The first driver was awesome and helped me with no issues, The second driver was alright and got my brother and I back home with little issues, The third driver I called for my brother last week was very rude and disrespectful to both of us from point a to b.

So the 1st time I used these guys the dispatch and driver where cool. Today I call for the same ride and now its $40.00 for the same ride I paid $12.00 for a week ago. Lousy way to business but whatever.

Drivers are timley and very talkative.. They seem 2 know a lot more about the town than the uber or lyft drivers..very informitive. Feel safer riding with green cab! Plus the flat rate 2 work was verrrrry useful.

Coming to Dubuque, I had no idea how to get around. #1 Green Cab was one of the first modes of transportation we had. Very courteous, on time and great rates! The other taxi services may be good, however, this Taxi service is #1 for a reason!

Called 10 times in 2 weeks nobody answers the phone

I used to love and have nothing but respect for this company, but now I can’t stand them. As a college student, I try to save money anywhere I can. One morning I was going to have to take a cab instead of a Uber to work. At the last minute I saw that an Uber was available, so I booked one instead. Just as I was about to call GreenCab I got a call from them saying that they were almost to my apartment. When I told them I was canceling it, I got a rude response. I was told that since I live “far away” (I live in Dubuque by the fairgrounds) and that more warning is needed next time or they will stop sending cabs to my address. I was shocked at the response I received and how I was treated. Terrible service!

It was below zero so I called at 5:30am to arrange a ride for the kids at 7:10. The cab did not show up, When I called and txt no one would answer or respond to me. Had to leave work and kids were late to school.

This is the worst cab company in the world.. Wtf do they only have 1 damn driver...2 days ago i called these iodiots at 7:45pm for a cab .. I had to be at work by 9pm but needed to do sum shopping for work b4 i had to clock in, all of which are in the mall.. The lady told us it would be 20-25min.. Long story short i had to call 4 times b4 sum1 made it to me.. It was my first day at a new job and i was almost 15min late and couldnt do wat i needed to b4 work....This morning it took 1 1/2 hours b4 sum1 even picked up the phone sooooooo I had to walk to a friends home that was close to my job until i could make it home...These ppl will inconvience u and wont even offer so much as a discount on ur nxt fed ride. Btw the most unsafe drivers with the dirtiest cars smdh.This is sad

Obsolete. I know prices fluctuate depending on the day and time. But it does it WAY TOO much. Don’t know if it’s the cabbies or the owners JUST USE LYFT OR UBER. Doesn’t matter how many left turns they make lol

Green cab is probably one of the worst taxicab services in Dubuque. Horrible drivers (driving) and extremely rude customer service and unclean cars. Thank god Dubuque has Uber and Lyft which are both less expensive and by far more reliable.

Driver was speeding 20 mph over the posted speed. Erratic lane changes. My last green cab ride.

Green Cab was super reliable, affordable and our driver was hilarious! We used green cab for airport transfers to and from the Dubuque Airport and Galena for my sisters bachelorette. Definitely would recommend Green Cab!

I don’t always have a problem with green can other than they really need more workers, they run late when you schedule sometimes, but what really makes me give a low rating is most drivers are extremely rude. The disbach person is ALWAYS rude

Drivers are typically very friendly. Sometimes they run a bit behind but thats normally due to being busy and traffic.

Drives very crazy. I waited forty minutes for a cab. I called them back and said that someone was going to be on their way. So another fifteen minutes for a ride that was said to be 15-20 away.
