Ive called 6 times as of today for any help on this so called Best internet service to help me figure out why my router is not providing any wifi coverage. Luckily I had a technician swap out the defective router with a brand new one, which I was told by him that it was better than my previous one. That I shouldnt have any problems. And yet today, the router once again is acting up and not sending any Wi-Fi signal. Ive called once again, and now Im being told thats either the wires outside of my area that is most likely the issue.I find it funny, ever since the account is under my name, Ive been having nothing but slow internet to almost no internet and faulty routers, but when it wasnt my account, EVERYTHING WORKED PERFECTLY! Im basically paying Spectrum for no internet. Not even TWO MONTHS IN has gone by, and I had to called them SIX TIME You can possibly guess how frustrating, and aggravating this whole situation Is. I had no idea Spectrum does this to new customers. BEST INTERNET SERVICE, I think theyre confusing Best with the word, trash.

Its a new location for them, but it has the same problem no service.When I walked in I was the 10th one in line, yet there were only 2 employees helping customers, sometimes it was just one. I managed to take pictures when there were zero employees helping.

Crazy problems. (1) After seven months, my bill increased about $28. They added a landline! I dont have a home phone, and the phone number (which doesnt work when dialed) isnt the one I had for many years prior to subscribing to Spectrum. The person at the Downey Landing store said she couldnt explain why, however, the phone was part of the package at signup and now the charge has been added...but I wouldnt be billed for previous seven months. She also couldnt provide me with copy my signup package that far back. Seven months?!! Still on my bill. (2) Recently I couldnt get the Golf channel. Upon inquiry was told it isnt part of my package...although we have been enjoying the channel since our startup seven months ago. That Spectrum rep also could not explain why Golf was originally included when it should not have been.😖

So we went to the Downey Store to pay our bill. While we were there my husband dropped his glasses. We didnt realize until late Sunday that they were missing. We tried for awhile to find a number for the Downey store. All Google could provide was an 866 number. I called this number and was on hold for over 14 mins. When Customer service answered my call and I explained my situation I was told Spectrum stores Do Not have phones. The rep told me she had no way to get a hold of anyone because they have no phones. She suggested that I drive back over there if I wanted to find the lost glasses. Her name was Tammy. Seriously there is NO PHONES THERE TO SPEAK TO ANYONE THERE WHO MIGHT HAVE FOUND THE GLASSES. ALL AROUND VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE.

Out of 6 employees no one was able to take my payment, the young man that assisted me did help me by telling me to go and make my payment on line with they provided inside the building, I did go to the computer screen and I was not sure if I was doing okay, I kept touching the screen but I didnt realize that the screen needed a softer touch so I can continue with my transaction until another employee asked me if I was doing ok. And told me to insert my bank card and press ok. And my transaction was done, I did thank the employee for his help while the other employees were just standing around chatting and not helping customers that are not used to making payments or transactions with Computers provided by the business and instead of standing talking with each other to offer some cain of help, specifically to elderly people. I love the tegnalagy and is so much combiniant buy sometimes we need just a little help. If you finished reading my comment I really appreciate and means you care and good customer service. Simple exchange for a cable box. Not so much. I should have been easy enough. However once I returned home not only did I not get the box I requested but I was given a refurbished box that appears to have the issue from the previous customer still attached! Wth why is great service reserved for umm let me think. No where! Now I guess i have to schedule for a technician to come to my home which I really do not want. Id rather not have someone elses germs around my family. Which is why I went to the store in person in the first place. Thanks for wasting my time.

Adrian was AMAZING! Came in to switch from Verizon to Spectrum 10 minutes before closing. Adrian made this transaction so quick and painless. He had me out of there in 20 minutes (or less). He was friendly and funny. Kudos to Adrian for AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

I enjoyed my recent shopping experience because I visited the store for specific items, including sweet potatoes, medium sized sweet onions, and Pork Neckbones, and I was not disappointed, I found all of my items, and I was in and out of the store during a typically busy time if day. I returned home, and Moms was surprised that I returned so quickly, she assumed that the store did mNot have Neckbones, as there is usually a line at the Butcher Counter, but not this day. I did not even have to select a number, the Butcher greeted me with a smile, and I was on my way to the cashier in less than 5 minutes. Great Shopping, and their prices are always competitive.

If you live around 90241, spectrum internet is the only non satellite option. The internet is intermittent and drops 10-30 times a day sometimes multi-minute downtimes. Since there are no other options and they have a monopoly in the area, I have to suffer with the lowest quality internet Ive had in over 10 years. Their customer service is useless and the technicians they send out dont fix the actual problems.The worst part is they have an automated system that texts you the internet has been fixed in your area, do you want to cancel your appointment with a technician. Dont cancel, its a straight up lie and the problem isnt fixed. Keep the appointment whether they send this message or not.

This location is terrible! I went last week to cancel my services and return my equipment. I waited in line outside in the extreme heat (no shade provided) for about 45 minutes until I was allowed inside where I had to sign in so that I could wait AGAIN! When I finally made it inside there was ONE person working. ONE person! Apparently they sent all the other employees to lunch at the same time even though they had a line of about 15 people waiting. That is TERRIBLE customer service. Finally the other employees came back to work and started helping customers, but I watched as one of the gals checked her personal cell phone in between customers and then helped a guy who had been waiting in line 3 people behind me, simply because he complained about the wait. Thats just rude to all of the rest of us waiting. Finally it was my turn and this same gal calls me up. I clearly tell her I need to cancel services and return equipment. She confirms I havent cancelled over the phone and says she will take care of it. One week later and I received a bill for service. Now i have sat on hold via the phone to cancel service again. The store needs to a major customer service lesson!

The service at the location is extremely slow. Two of the staff behind the service desks were just chatting with each other and glued to their personal phones. They were not calling customers, until the supervisor would come out from the back room. As soon as she would leave the floor, they would go back to chatting with each other. Supervisor would come out to the floor again, and they would call out another customer. We waited About 40 minutes to be called, even though there were only five people in front of us. If everyone was actually working, we would have gotten out of there in half the time. I wish they would respect people’s time.

There is not cohesive communication (ironic from a communications company).All I wanted was to exchange a 4G sim card for a 5G which my phone how is connected via Spectrum, kept asking for me to change. Got online, did a chat with a representative who gingerly asked me to go to the nearest Spectrum Mobile location to received a new sim card, made an appointment, arrived for the appointment, only to be told they dont hand out sim cards there and that I needed to...are you ready? call customer service and have them send me by mail. No respect for a customers time, no communication between departments and just making people waste their time traveling to their location, if you need a sim card for a 5G phone upgrade, now you know, dont go wasting your time by going to any of their locations, just call and good luck trying to get someone on the phone.

Internet $74.99👎🏼👎🏼. Don’t believe the 30 days “new customer” status!!! And on top of raising my internet fees they took my initial payment n credited another account. Then the agent had the audacity to said it was my banks fault, yeah sure! They clearly took my money. Spectrum is now an unwelcome guest in my home bc of their prorated rules. Counting down the days till I kick them out!!!

Not very satisfied,called to upgrade my service for phone and internet.couldnt answer my question on internet speed in my city,said if I paid for 200 speed I could get 100 to 200 speed.why would I want to pay for 200 when it cant be garunteed??? I asked if our city had fiber optic the sales person didnt know. Not much of a confidence builder.

Didnt realize I should make an appointment - only 3 staff - waited in line for about 30 minutes to get inside. Spectrum had updated something in my neighborhood and my cable box no longer had access to many channels. I took the old box back, as instructed, and got a new box and remote. Unfortunately the person who helped me did not realize I had an old TWC account that somehow uses a different signal - the new box didnt work correctly so it too had to be exchanged. Luckily I got a great support person who was able to determine the real issue and she helped me make an appointment online which reduced my wait time. The 2nd new box works perfectly. 3 stars because of the confusion - all the people were really nice.

It’s Sunday , and only 2 people working their busy and they decide to go to lunch rotating therefore only leaving 1 person for a list of 23 on the waiting list . How ridiculous is that ? People don’t want to be here all day . Biggest tip if you’re waiting to ask for new service is do it over the phone . For equipment exchange just get the technician so you went spend 3+ hours here . The young men look like nice kids just no urgency on their part.

05/30/2012:55pmCustomer service was not pleasant. I went in to return some equipment and had to take out everything from the box. I was told you had to return the equipment with the box and so I did. Kelly (x9x) followed me outside with the box and told me to take it with me, when they have dumpsters. Then forced it in my car without any consent and I told her she couldnt do that, then continues to push the box in my car. Then finally throws the box at the hood of my car. I found this conduct inadequate and very childish, and the excuse was because of the Covid Pandemic but she wasnt even wearing gloves and was not 6ft in distance from me.

Horrible service. We came to return equipment and collect our reassured new modems and equipment. Some middle-aged lady was taking our returns and immediately had canceled everything without us even saying a word and told us wed have to wait 30 days until we have internet when the night prior they said wed have free internet for two months and a new faster internet. We had called Spectrum after this experience and even THEY questioned this one on one? They were fortunately able to fix things after. Never coming back here again. They need to hire better representatives for this location.

Like others mentioned before. Only 2 people helping customers, how long the waiting list is doesn’t concern them at all. And they’re even so slow. So if you’re at the bottom of a long list (10 or more) you better plan on spending the day here.Never going to this location again.

My mother passed away recently and I was trying to close her account and pay the balance due and return the equipment. I called spectrum on the phone and they told me I had to go into a store in turn any equipment show the death certificate and close the account. A second person called me from spectrum and tried to close the account and told me the same thing. So When I finally had a free day from work to go to the spectrum store. They took the modem and told me they couldnt cancel the account because it was some kind of a bulk account and that I needed to call spectrum on the phone here in the lobby and then I could proceed. 40 minutes later after being on hold the lady was really nice and told me that they can do it in the store but they needed to remove devices cetera the lady that was helping me went on her break. No one else was willing to help me or seemed concerned there were no supervisors or managers to help apparently they have a Room full of millenniums with no supervision very frightening.I LOVE DIRECTV

Horrible billing service. They charge me two times within the whole month and they cut my line because I did not pay them. After I pay for my original bill they returned back the Internet connection charged me for reconnecting fee. I call them 3 times to fix the problem before they finally adjust and give me a credit memo. Calling them it will take 30 mins just to connect to customer service not include waiting time if they need to fix something in your bill or connection.

I went to turn in my cable box and they forgot to tell me I was two days into the billing cycle so they charged me their inflated fee of $80 bucks even though I did not have cable 28 days of a 30 day month and even after talking with multiple managers, they simply said SORRY NOTHING WE CAN DO. Spectrum are crooks , they were screwing me around with my internet speeds, So i filed a FCC complaint guess what they fix the problem ASAP, But they will blame it on your equipment and anything else , Please write everything down. Remember if they offer 100 speed by law it cant be less the 75% of that.

This review is about customer service at the BF location. I was very pleased with the way I was treated. Everybody had good customer service skills. They greet you and talk to you in a polite way which I like. I also like the remodeled modern office. I only have Internet with TW and Im happy with it.

Well, just canceled my service with this poor and dishonest company called Spectrum as of 01/13/2018. They didn’t honored their words and/or agreement. In addition, they advertised speed up to 100Mbps and yet I only get a tenth or lower of service. After many years of depressing speed, I finally called a “quick” for good. See my speed check in the attached pictures.
