Love this place. Its clean and service is always professional and staff is super helpful and nice. Been getting my wax with Virginia, she does an awesome job very informative and makes my wax sessions go smoothly and love the end result. She is super friendly and makes process enjoyable.

Loved it! My girl Raquel did such a great job! Made me feel comfortable and it was less pain then I expected.

I made my appointment with Racquel and did not regret it. She was super nice and made sure to ask if the wax was at an okay temperature at the very beginning. Very attentive and efficient!

Omg I was so scared but Nadialy was so nice, she distracted me from the pain since it was my first time. Super sweet, loved her service!! (FYI there’s a coupon on their main website the girls upfront never mentioned. I wouldve definitely taken advantage except no one ever told me. I found out online hours after I left) I even called to confirm but it became too much of a hassle, supposedly they couldn’t hear me.

Staff was great - had full legs - eyebrows and chin waxed. The woman waxing was so sweet and we had a great conversation the whole time, made me alot less nervous. I had never had my legs waxed before aside from at home wax kits I did myself, of course it hurt - because hey! Youre getting hair pulled out of your legs... but it was not NEARLY as painful as the at home stuff because it only grabbed the hair and not my skin. Going back again in four weeks.

First time going here, the girls were nice and my waxer made me feel comfortable knowing it was my first time getting waxed and made sure I was okay the whole time, my full brazilian took about 15 minutes from the start of the service to the end, it was painful of course but not as bad as I expected its tolerable. Already booked my 2nd appointment. The best part was getting 50 percent off the brazilian since I was a first time guest.

January 17 the place just opened about a week ago and this is my first time here its a very clean-looking modern Wax Center. Your first initial waxing is free or at least thats what the promotion they have right now and I opted for upgrading it to a full bikini wax and only paid 50% off the full price. My experience was great. with fast service, took 30 minutes and Vanessa was very easygoing and friendly and made the experience Pleasant.

Ive been going to EWC for about 4 years and recently started going to this one in Downey. Ive never had any issues. Everyone is kind and polite. I will continue to come here for my waxing needs and recommend it to friends.

My experience was not bad, but not the greatest either. Receptionist Diamond was a sweet girl answered all of my questions, when it was time to get waxed, i observed the room to see the cleanliness of it and it instantly did not make me feel comfortable. However the wax expert Cynthia was great, but unfortunately I wouldnt go back to the same location.

Its my favorite place to go. The waiting area along with the rooms are simple but nice and clean. Im been with most of the girls and unfortunately its hit and miss. A few rush through and leave patches of hair, which is never good. The only reason I had to was because my girl left. Unfortunately, the third month after she left I had to complain and that is when I was referred to Amanda. Amanda is amazing, she is thorough and always is up beat.

Ive been to other locations and this has been the worst. I dont know if the ladies are just not happy there but they leave way to much hair and powder all over the place. It seems as though they are not passionate about what they do. Yes Ive tried going back multiple time and got waxed by different girls every time yet still a mess. Not returning.

The staff was nice, but the waxing its self wasnt. This was my first time ever getting a wax and I was honestly disappointed. I got almost everything waxed 2 days before my wedding and the girl who was waxing me, made me feel comfortable but she missed alot of hair everywhere, so on my wedding day I HAD to shave. It wasnt worth it for me. I asked the girl doing it why most of the hair wasnt gone and she told me that was normal. But its a wax, most of the hair was suppose to be gone.

First time getting a wax. Didnt know what to expect. Way better then what I imagined. I read the yelps and read a lot of positive reviews about Nicole. I asked for her and she did a great job. Made a awkward situation not awkward and very comfortable. Will be going back.

Nicole was very professional and nice. But the only thing is for my Brazilian wax she waxed against the way my hair was growing, most other places that use hard wax go in the direction of the hair growth.. Im not a professional so I cant say how things are done, just speaking from experience, but Im having a horrible reaction Ive never had before. Two days later Its extremely swollen and looks like I have ingrown hairs already. I use whitch hazel(the only things calming it a bit) and a serum I was sold at EWC, every day.Also my leg wax was almost $50 and there are full legnth hairs near my ankle and around my knees. Waiting for a callbatck from the manager. Its JUST NOT GOOD.The only thing working out is my armpit wax nothing bad so far. Lets hope it stays that way...Updated: Day 3 and its extremely painful to touch may go to urgent care.
