The lady at handling everything was super nice and very professional. I had a hole in my tire and they were able to patch it and put the tire back on my car for me. Luckily it was close to home too. Will definitely come back if needed.

I had chosen to get my oil changed here before a trip based on reviews I had read. It was my first time there and they did not disappoint. I will most definitely be back!

1. They dont honor appointments (they blame the online system, but still dont honor them when made in person directly). Then they try to incentivize you to just come back later by saying the wait is going to be a long time (over and over again).2. Way overpriced oil change for mediocre product/service.3. After all the above, they have the gall to check additional things, cracking other pieces in the process, then try to upsell.No thanks.

Poor online scheduling. Poor attention to detail. I used the app to make an online appointment. Even though I received a text reminder the next day, when I arrived, the shop did not have record of the appointment and I had to reschedule. A 49.99 coupon for full service synthetic oil change is a bit misleading. With an additional one quart required for a larger engine ($15) and shop fees etc, the total bill was $81.29. Also, the shop suggested an air filter change and cabin filter change, which I decided to do myself. When I opened the engine compartment to change the air filter, I notice that one of the air lines was disconnected, which I believe happened when they checked the filter, and then I discovered that one of the two screws securing the air filter cover had not been fastened. Very disappointing.

I have used this company for over 20 years. They serviced my trucks, vans, and cars. All the people I have dealt with over the years have been honest and never tried to sell me something I did not need. Only one time, they made a mistake on my daughters car. I called and the owner was at my house in 10 minutes to take care of it. They are the best.

The folks at Lexus referred me to Meineke for exhaust work. Ed got the car up quickly to assess and confirm the issue. They actually showed me the problem while the car was on the lift and again after they completed the work. Had to wait 2+ hours, but worth it in the end. Couldn’t have been more pleased with their work. Would do business with Ed and his team again, for sure.

My vehicle was involved in a accident I brought my car to this shop and even tho they were really busy they were able to squeeze my car in to check it out to make sure my vehicle was safe and good to drive. Had a horrible grinding sound coming from my brakes. I called the shop at the end of the day Friday, and was able to get in Saturday morning, and I got my car back in action (with some other needed maintenance) by early Saturday afternoon (I was surprised to get it back so soon knowing how many other cars were ahead of me). I installed new rotors, brakes, and calipers on my vehicle. Everything went fine but the brakes were still spongy after I bled the system. I decided to take it to Meineke figuring that I wasnt bleeding them correctly. I asked them to check everything and to bleed the system. I got the call that it was finished, went to pick up the car, started it up and the brakes were still spongy. I never left the lot and called the man over and told him. He sat in the car, felt the brakes and said they were fine. I knew they werent. He asked me what name brand were the brake pads and I told him AC Delco, which is a well known brand. He told me that was the reason why and that they needed to be broken in. Brakes do not get broken in. They are not a pair of work boots. If done right, they should work right and feel properly. I drove right from there to a local mechanic. They found out that the passenger rear caliper piston was leaking and that was the cause of the still spongy brakes. Meineke charged my $160.00 for nothing. Now I get to pay a real mechanic to fix them right. I will never bring my business back to Meineke. Not only are they over priced....by a huge amount, they couldnt even get the job done. I was talked down to like a child and given such a poor excuse. They couldnt find the caliper leak, but they sure did tell me everything else that was wrong. My front wheel bearing was going out, their cost...$495, my local mechanics cost....$300. Do yourself a favor and stay away, the way they treat brakes, your life may actually depend on it.

Made appt for 3pm. Took my info and did oil change within 30 minutes. Staff was friendly & professional. Pricing was an issue. Had a coupon from website, turns out it was for a different location, my mistake. So oil change was now supposed to be $19.95, not $17.95. Ok agreed. Left paying $24.99 because of taxes and oil recycling. Always feel like this is bait & switch.

Went to get a simple oil change and opt for the $35 one which was supposed to top off fluids and rotate my tires. Well none of that happened. I only received an oil change hoping they put up to 5 quarts in it. They also showed me what else i needed done, but with the poor service i got on the oil change that MOST DEFINITELY will not happen then it took longer for them to turn off the change oil light in my vehicle than it took to change the oil. Called back and spoke with a Mike who DID NOT KNOW HOW TO COMPENSATE ME for them doing nothing that i paid for. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER

They charged my wife $1,200.00 for a new air conditioning compressor and the next day the a/c worked for a whole 40 minutes. It’s pretty obvious that she didn’t need a new compressor and that those folk don’t have a clue. I’m pretty sure that my wife who was visiting Chicago from Texas got scammed!

I was in because I needed a custom electric installation done. I had called 15 other shops in the greater area around where I lived and all turned down a custom job, except this guy who said, sure sounds like something I can do. And they did. During the job he constantly made sure it was done to my liking and no misunderstandings where done. In the end they did not only make the install as I wanted but exceeded my expectation making the job look as it had been there from the factory. I do recommend these guys for any custom electric job! Next time I know where to call...

I came in to replace my windshield wipers and get the washer spray up and running. Ed was both helpful and practical, estimate was reasonable, and service was hassle-free. I was out of the shop within 20 minutes with clear windshields and a clear head knowing Ive found a great local body shop for my cars future mechanical repair needs.

Started off with a quote for an simple oil change and if it were up to Meinecke I’d be paying hundreds of dollars. I don’t appreciate the dated and desperate sales tactic of using an oil change as an opportunity to throw all kinds of potential repairs at customers, many who don’t know any better. And I understand that a shop can always say, “we identify problems and it’s up to you to do the necessary repairs.” Great. But do not preemptively generate a bunch of receipts and throw them in front of a customer expecting a signature. Does this actually work? It’s insulting and embarrassing. This is exactly why people should always just go to the dealership. A little transparency would be greatly appreciated.

My car needed an oil change badly ,it had been nearly a year. I wanted a name I could trust and I expected to be told I could be scheduled for another day. To my surprise at 5:00 PM ,they took my car in immediately and I got a synthetic blend oil change . Not only was the service great,friendly and very informative,it was on sale! I was given a print out of everything they suggested I have done,air filter,new radiator cap,etc. but he didn’t try to sell it to me. 2 stars just because the guy at the front desk was nice and professional. But Im not sure what the guy in the back who did my oil change was smoking. I brought my car in for a simple oil change and of course they did the usual checking filters and tires. They said my filter was dirty, and I told them to put it back in the car, as its easy and a lot cheaper to do myself. I drove my car all the way home. When I got out, I noticed the hood wasnt sitting right, upon opening it up I see my air filter just sitting on top of the engine, the filter box open, and the intake hose disconnected. I DROVE MY CAR ALL THE WAY HOME LIKE THIS.. additionally when they slammed the hood on the filter laying on top of the plastic engine covers it broke the snaps of my plastic belt cover so I had to remove that since it was rattling around. They offered to fix it, but I did it myself. I wasnt about to have them touch my car again. An air filter is a big white thing. It is super obvious. To have missed something like this shows an immense level of negligence. Like he must have not even glanced at the engine before closing the hood. Completely bonkers.

Total ripoff.Will never go to a Meineke again.Just went in for a battery. Was charged $43 to install battery and clean terminals.The installation should have been included with buying the battery (I was never told there would be a charge); and I never asked for the terminals to be cleaned.Charged $39.95 for an “electrical system check” that I never asked for.Was charged $26.52 for “shop supplies”. Anyone who has ever changed a battery knows there are no shop supplies needed to switch out a battery.I wish I could give zero stars.

His prices are reasonable for the work being completed and I know if Ed tells me I need it done, it needs to be done. Mike is a new manager at the shop and he has been as honest to deal with as Ed. I bring my cars here, my sisters cars here, my aunts car here. I trust these guys.

They just tell you everything is $1000, needed new brakes 6 months ago did it for a grand, then they told me a stabilizer and lower control arm would be $1000 EACH both parts go for around $200 after market. The car is from 2006 who would put $3000 in it in a year. He’s shady, we all know how it works he’s going to see what he can get. I was reading straight from the audit book and work In claims so I was very aware of what a fair price is. When I told him I found somewhere next door that would do it for half that he became irritable and rude. I got both parts fixed for about $1000 at Lang’s auto body, half the price Meineke asked for. Just go local.
