Recently moved to the area and so glad I found Helmut & Vitos! I have a 2015 A4 with low mileage (25K) that has undergone regular maintenance. Dealer quoted me just shy of $5K for a bunch of stuff that it needed, then when I pressed them it turns out a lot of it was just recommended. In any case, I emailed H&Vs and Adam got back to me right away via email and even booked the appointment based on my availability that I included in my original email. Everything was smooth, and every person I interacted with was friendly, professional, and NOT overbearing. I was able to drop my car during off-hours using their drop box, received a quote next day within 2 hours of the place opening, approved it, AND it was done by the end of the day for less than 1/5(!) the price of dealer quote. Amazing. Super friendly staff on pickup, no BS and no pressure to do things that were not required. They made recommendations for things to keep an eye on in the future, and I appreciate that.I will certainly bring the Audi back here in the future for any required work and my VW Atlas should the need arise.

After seeing all positive reviews, I took a chance at this place back in the winter, needing rear shocks and springs on my old 2000 323 BMW. I have to admit, everything worked out great. Great place the employees are very helpful and do a great job I had an old Audi A4 2003 and it was always going to the shop for work and they kept it going for years. I now have an 2009 Honda Fit and they have done some work on it simple stuff and it runs great. I have a relative that has gone there for years as well this relative talks highly of this place as well. I was going there when lived in IL and now that I am back in IN I still drive to IL to get work done and check ups on my car. They do work on foreign vehicles as well. Defiantly recommend

Very honest and helpful. Recently I had a warning light come on in my car, they got me in right away, gave me the diagnosis for my car and the gave me an honest answer and guided me to the right decision. They didnt make me feel pressured to use their services which I found very at ease. I have used them several times and their prices were much better than having to go to the dealership for a simple fix.

This team of professionals know their work. They have have helped Cars of Hope perform extensive repairs by getting many vehicles ready to give to Deserving Families over the last three years. Jim was able to diagnose what 3 Chevy dealerships could not, all within 15 mins. Very happy with the service I received. Kept to their repair timeline, called with updates, and most importantly, repaired an issue I had been having with my truck for 3 years. Highly recommend for service work.

They have always been honest and fair and much more affordable than the Mercedes dealership. I have had my cars serviced at this shop for over 20 years. Over the years I have had them work on a Mercedes 380SE, an Audi A6 and a Toyota Land Cruiser.They do great work and are very honest. They try to save me money when they can.They also check over the car and test drive it to see if there is anything else that needs attention. I recommend them to anyone.

Theyve worked on my wifes 2001 VW Beetle for the last few years for a mere fraction of what the dealership charges for the same service. Theyre fair, honest, and extremely knowledgeable when it comes to European imports. When our Audi Q5 is no longer covered by the manufacturer, we intend to take it to Helmut &Vitos as well for regular service and repairs.

I needed a lowbeam headlight put into a Mercedes GLK and I had seen other reviews so pulled in and asked if they could help he said sure have a seat and squeezed me in between other customers. They did it within about 30 minutes and charged $48 which was 1/2 of what the dealer would charge the mechanics and service manager was really friendly and fair. I have found my new repair shop! I am so happy!

I used to live near this shop and used them years ago for a clutch problem on my 190E. The replaced the master cylinder and in the process leaked hydraulic fluid all over my drivers side carpeting. they just put the floor mat over it and didnt clean it up. I found this and took the car back and complained. All they did was wipe a rag on the carpet and told me it was fine. I was amazed they didnt even care. I never went back.

Brought my Audi in there for a new turbo. They did everything in there power to find me the cheapest turbo in the area as well as a tune up. Incredibly friendly staff willing to talk.On a personal note Adam sorry for calling about a hundred times you are the real MVP.

Helmut & Vito have worked on both my Porsche and my Mercedes throughout the years. The quality of their work and their expertise in advising me what I needed to do in order to avoid future costly repairs has saved me thousands of dollars since 1997. I would often bring my car to the dealer who would suggests several thousand dollars in repairs, and then take it to Helmut & Vito and they would review what the dealer told me, suggest much more reasonable repairs, and often times fix my cars problems for a FRACTION of what the dealer wanted to charge. (One instance, the Benz dealer wanted $2,000+ for a repair and they identified a small broken plastic part that they charged me $23 for !!!! I saved about $2,000 on that trip alone !!!) These guys are true pros and always are looking out for your best financial interest. Chris Hall

Pitiful. Dont comment on my review making me look foolish you overpriced car dealer wannabe. 700$ spent on a 96 318i. Ridiculous. How do u even feel ok taking that much for a 20 year old piece of crap car??? Uneasy to work with being difficult to make appointment and they always are soooo busy unable to talk on the phone. 300$ for a pair of control arm bushings is over the top ridiculous. Take meOut of your contacts. Fools. No better than the BMW dealer itself.
