I took a crate of kittens up there for my grandmother.I kept one of them, but clearly took them there in the homes they would find homes and avoid becoming wild and stray. Um...i got some vibes from the employees there! They were NOT gentle with them at all! And acted like it was such a inconvenient that i was there with them. Only one lady dis i feel actually cared..the others, i wouldnt wouldnt put it passed them to be abussive if they got scratched etc!#facts

Everyone that works there is so nice! I found my perfect little kitty & everything went smoothly & very quickly with the paperwork. Would definitely recommend them!! Thanks for helping me with Fancie!

They just don’t answer the phone or call back...

These folks work hard to accommodate every animal. The only thing is they have enough help. We always look forward to them going to Toyota of Dothan for their free pet adoption.

We rescued a beautiful dog almost 2 years ago. Best decision ever. They microchiped her plus adoption fee all together 45.00. Thank you to the hard working staff.

I have lost my cat. I had to move out of state because Pointe South kicked my daughter and I put because we had pets. My cat went missing during the move. Ive called multiple times to the shelter and no one returns my calls. I hope they havent put my baby down because they are too busy/lazy/unorganized to answer the phone or return calls. My daughter and I lost our home for our pet and my cat may have lost her life. Like anyone cares.

Conditions of animals are sad. They do not follow up on spay and neuter contracts. This is a kill shelter, however, I would encourage people to adopt here, if you avoid the place the animals will just be pushed to the side.
