These drivers need lessons from Amazon... 3 occasions now Ive had an item out for delivery, then at the end of the day it says available for pick up. So I drive to the USPS location, they cant find the package, and its back on the delivery route. Whats more annoying; the fact is says out for delivery and it doesnt make it? Or when it says available for pick-up and its not?? OR the fact that I have to wait all day once again and see if my package will actually make it the day AFTER the delivery date. USPS use to be good, now Amazon puts them to shame.

I needed to send some certified letters to the IRS. The person behind the counter which I did not get his name, a tall black gentleman, would not assist me like other post office members have done in the past. He stated I needed to fill out some certified info on some slips which was new to me. That alone would have taken me 15 minutes which would have had a long line behind me with only he and a woman behind the counter.. Told him I would go somewhere else where they have done my transactions in the past. I came to the post office on Spencer in Pasadena. Darryl assisted me and my transaction went so smooth. Less than 2 minutes and I was done. I did not have to fill out anything as it was all done electronically.

It was my first time going to the post office to ship a package out, and it was the best experience I could have asked for! I was in and out in under 5 minutes (I stopped by around 3pm). Kari helped me out and she was super friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend doing business here

Ive never lived anywhere that the mail service has been this horrible. Our mail deliverer does not even attempt to leave our packages anymore just send them straight to the office. Anytime i order anything, regardless of paying for express shipping, i have to drive to the office to get everything. Just do your freaking job or quit and go work somewhere else. YOU DELIVER MAIL SO DELIVER IT !!!!!

Incompetent employees. This post office houses all the subgrade employees in which did not perform well at other branches. They Deliver mail to the wrong address and lose mail regularly.

I mailed a package in June. And the delivery date was June 26 it is now August 26 and the package is nowhere to be found. I was charged $86 to ship and now I’m being told there is nothing they can do about it

The Dickinson location on Termini is top notch. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. I think other locations could learn a lot from them.

Usually i dont have any problems but a personally sent package has not made it. I went up there to pick it up as the tracking said i needed to and oh its out for delivery again? Still nothing. Someone there must have stolen my very important packages. Thanks to you guys I lost thousands of dollars

I was dreading coming to the usps office in Dickinson because of all the negative stories you hear, but I had a positive experience. A dark haired woman who helped me was so polite and took her time to help me find my package. I also noticed the gentleman working with her was very patient and kind to an older gentleman asking about PO Box rentals.The only thing I noticed was a blonde female employee was walking around inside without a mask on her face behind the FRONT DESK. I just figured a government run facility would follow the rules set by the government.

Absolutely the most outstanding customer service Ive ever experienced. Supervisor Taylor along with his staff made sure I got packages I had been waiting on. Postal Carrier Al personally delivered them to me. Im a manager at Mattress Firm and we did not have keys to our mail box. This location should serve as a training location for the postal service. They provide absolute exemplary customer service and certainly show the integrity we hope and wish for in government service. Thank you Supervisor Taylor and your excellent staff.

Not entirely sure where all the 1 star reviews are stemming from, but having just moved to Dickinson TX, I have found this USPS location to be one of the friendliest and most competent Ive been to... especially for a smaller location. As a Captain in the USAF I moved all over the country so I have a fair amount of experience in this department ;). I post this on my 3rd visit after noticing the 2-star average on Google. Thanks for the great service, keep it up!

In all the years I have lived in Dickinson I have never encountered any problems with receiving my mail, having it be sent off or any of the personnel. I find them to be very friendly, courteous and professional. The mail service is getting a bad rap right now but people shouldnt take it out of the employees. They have no control in what our government is doing.

They really go above and beyond during Christmas. Thank you for giving my daughter the letter from Santa! It made her whole week!!

Rose was absolutely amazing. She went above and beyond for me after the other lady would not help me and refused to help me. I believe that she needs a razor she is absolutely one of a kind you guys would be crazy to get rid of her. Every time I go in there now she’s absolutely amazing and I only want to be helped by her. She is outstanding kind helpful.

I went to mail 3 packages with my rambunctious 3 year old this morning. All the staff was friendly and would smile at me.Later that day, I realized I put the wrong house number on one of my packages.I really didn’t want to take both my 3 and 4 year olds up there, so I tried to call, but I got no answer.However, when we arrived at the post office, I could see why they couldn’t answer. They were slammed. All the parking spots were taken. It didn’t take long for a spot to open though. I noticed several people coming out at the same time.The staff was efficient in moving the line while at the same time being polite.My 3 year old ended up throwing a fit while I was there and a lady (I think she was the manager) came from the back to keep both my boys entertained while I took care of the package problem I had created.Anthony told me he could correct the address without charging me more.Even though I was stressed trying to take care of my hyper boys and an error I caused, the staff at this post office helped alleviate it by being so helpful and kind!

Kari is the absolute best...She has helped me find my pkg 📦 with my dress for my sons wedding that was going to be believered after I needed to leave out of state...Another one was going to my old address...She always helps in any way she possibly can and with a smile on her face while she does it...Such a breath of fresh air going to a post office that actually wants to help...Thank you so much for all you do and the kind customer service. So unprofessional and not helpful at all. We just moved to Dickinson and have had nothing but trouble receiving our mail. They mark it as delivered when in fact it’s not delivered. We’ve had to call with every single package we’ve ordered since living here. They don’t want to come to our house if the package doesn’t fit in our neighborhood mail box so they will just mark it delivered. I’ve called and complained multiple times, no one is willing to help.

They hang up on you. Tried called 15 times. No one picks up. When they finally do, they are rude, than they hang up on you if they dont like your tone.

Do not expect to get packages delivered if you live in an apartment complex. Usually they just claim they couldnt get to your door or you werent home even though you were sitting on the couch 3 feet from the door. If they leave it in the office theyll claim its in the lockbox so you dont actually know where it is. Thats still better than when they leave your packages on the front doorstep of the office facing the street so anyone can take them. Regardless, they lie about what the do with your packages and if it were a real company instead of a government supported one, the issues would have to be fixed or it would go out of business.

I have a PO Box with this Post office. When I signed up with them last year, anytime I had a package that didnt fit in my box, they would put it inside a lockbox with the key in my mailbox. Here lately, they must have switched mail clerks, every single package that doesnt require a signature, I have to come back and stand in line to pickup from the window.This post office keeps better than banking hours. So I have to wait until Saturday to pick up my package. With the current COVID19 going around, this puts myself and others in unnessary harms way.Not a very smart thing to do.

If I could give it a negative number I would. Worst Post Office ever. Went to the post office today, again, because they didnt deliver a package that the tracking said they had for over 2 days. Spoke to a male supervisor who outright lied and said the driver had left and would deliver today. Guess what? He didnt. This is the 4th time in the year Ive lived in Dickinson theyve messed up. People on next door complain about them all the time. Wish theyd get it together.

My mailman is so nice and polite. Standing in the Post office customer service is not so polite and you wait forever. When are we going to receive mail?

My experience can be summed up in 4 words: rude, incompetent, indifferent and condescending.Mailed a check to a business 10 miles away and they lost it. Acted like no big deal, told me to cancel it. If they paid the 30.00 fee for cancelled checks they might think twice about losing mail. All need to be fired. Need private competition.I wish there was a negative star to rate this particular office. I have a package stuck at the distribution center in Houston for three days (3 days late in delivery already) and when I finally was able to speak to a live person, which was an accomplishment in itself, I was told there was nothing they could do about it. The USPS should be de-funded, not the police departments. the Post Office has been screwing the public for generations. USELESS

I have only had my mailbox up for MAYBE 2 months and it is clearly marked inside and out with not only my physical address but our last names too, Im a mail carrier (RCA ) so I know how much of a hassle it is not being marked. Today we had our first package delivered to our house. At 2:45 it was scanned in/at mailbox. I knew it wouldnt fit because it was a pair of shoes. I go look on my front porch to see if by some chance it was just accidentally got marked there, it does happen so I understand completely!! So it was not on my front porch but on my neighbors! Luckily my neighbors are my inlaws so I walked over and told them what happen. Both of houses are clearly marked and theres a big difference between a 15 and 05.

Do NOT do business with this location. It is full of incompetence. They have lost more mail and packages since the 2 years I have been here, than all other USPS locations combined in previous 40 years of “service,”

Apparently they do not know how to find their way around Dickinson, with it being such a large town. They have a thing for shipping packages to houses not addressed on the label. But on the same route, they can correctly deliver letters to your house, just not actual packages that are labeled with the SAME EXACT ADDRESS. Think again if you want to use them for any shipments or deliveries. UPS and FedEx have no problem finding your address and they also have no problem holding your packages if any problems arise.

I have never had a bad experience in the Dickinson post office. They are polite and helpful. What makes this post office run smoothly is the patience of the people standing in line. There is no one in a hurry, no one in a bad mood, and fortunately this makes things run so much quicker.

I was expecting a package delivery the day before a trip. Everything showed it as delivered to a parcel locker, but I had no key in my box like I usually do so I was worried. I hopped in my car and went to the Dickinson Post Office. That’s where I was blessed to meet Rose. I told her what happened and she immediately checked their mail room and then tracked down the package (it was in the locker, but the mail carrier must have either put the key in the wrong slot or added mine to someone else’s parcel locker). Much to my surprise, she hopped in her car with a key and drove straight across town to my mailbox to retrieve the package. I am blown away! She went above and beyond to correct the mistake and I could not be any more grateful.

I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. Rose was very helpful and fast.

Weve had a daily pickup for 4 years and I can count the number of times they have answered the phone on 1 finger. Nothing nice to thing to say about this location anymore. Its a shame that we live in League City but had to be assigned to this worthless office. If you cant answer the phone or be humane for 4 years and there isnt a way to complain that actually makes you do your job then simply put its because you and your job dont matter. If you dont like your job then get a new one!

Our mail person delivers other peoples packages to us. Packages that need to be delivered to us are marked delivered and not actually delivered until the next day or days later. Theyre also marked no secure location available when we have secure mail boxes. Ive taken off work to be home to sign for a package and it will be flagged no one available to sign even though someone was home the entire day. Its fraud and laziness. Most recently trying to track down a package that was incorrectly delivered to someone else I was told 2 times I would receive a call back and havent. It takes 10-15 calls to the post office to get someone to answer. Its just poorly managed and there seems to be no employee oversight at all.

I intend to call and talk to management about this too, but anyways here goes:I had a signature required package delivered to my door March 7, 2019 - I was not home to sign, so they left a re-delivery notice that I could pick up as early as 4pm on March 7th (see picture). I attempted to pick up on March 12th at 3:30pm. After much rummaging, an employee tells me my package was returned to sender, and was on the first truck out this morning. I was then told they only hold packages a max of 5 days.1. This information of a 5 day hold isnt listed anywhere on my missed delivery notice.2. My package was delivered on a Thur and I attempted to pick up on Tues.3. They are closed on Sun.4. I had Thur, Fri, Sat, Mon and Tue to pick up if you look at days they are actually opened for business. Logically, that means today would have been my last day to pick up in office, during regular operating business hours.So WHY IN THE WORLD is my package from SOUTH KOREA being sent back on Tues already????

Literally the worst post office around. When the Bacliff office is better than you...thats saying something!! Absolutely laziest delivery person in San Leon. Continually marks my packages as no secure location or no access....funny because there is always someone home yet there is never a single knock on my door.

Post office people are no help at all. In the meantime, we have no idea where our mail is being delivered. They keep saying it was delivered and i ask where exactly and they can never tell me exactly where. We are a business so obviously it shouldnt be delivered to anyone home/apt.Their supervisor is so rude and dont help at all.

Wont answer phone. Cannot seem to get a key to my residential mailbox. Filled out the paper work, waited in line about 35 minutes. Was told they would drop a key off and call. been two weeks. Remember folks. This is a business. Just because our crappy government runs it, doesnt mean the employees dont have to provide good customer service. I was hesitant to come here due to the overwhelming amount of negative reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised! I came in, dropped off my packages I needed shipped, was given a receipt and was told to have a good day! The line moved fast, the lady was not rude, and I will probably return.

I have lived in 5 different states now and multiple zip codes in each and this has, by far, been THE ABSOLUTE WORST postal service EVER. We have had multiple packages delivered to the wrong address, to which their excuse has been well that person receives alot of packages so we just assume its his or we have a new driver. We also have had false attempted deliveries stating that there was no secure place to deliver and that a notice has been left. For one thing we live in a neighborhood with a communal mail spot with secured parcel boxes. And secondly we have a video doorbell and have seen no attempt to leave a notice or our package at the door. Now my daughter has to wait til Monday to get her princess purse, I hope your happy Dickinson USPS.

I think the overall attitude of the postal workers contribute to their failure rate during the holidays. As I send a package and elect not to get tracking, Mr. Mailman says to me “ well it’s the Holliday’s, it might make, it might not”. Sir I pay for a service just as you would if you got your oil changed or ordered fast food. What if they tell you they might change the oil, they might not. Take some pride in the service you provide.

ZERO STAR - no one will answer the phone, when you get there they are flippant with their answers. One lady told me, that she would listen to my concerns but she could do nothing about them - she said it was not her department and there was no one there that could fix problems. One lady did not even know how to operate the equipment. Another gave me false information, and when I pointed it out, she rolled he eyes. Another did not have the supplies she need and was going from station to station trying to borrow the tools she needed. Others were standing around. The price of a stamp goes up and the service is not in the basement.

The worst post office that I have ever done business with. If I could I would put negative stars. They have a very hard time delivering packages to the correct address, just yesterday I receive my neighbors packages and they received mine. Over half of my packages that are delivered by the post office are delivered to the wrong address, while all of my packages that are delivered by ups or FedEx are always delivered correctly to my house. Just another example of if you want something screwed up just let the government handle it.

The ladies inside were very nice. I am giving 2 stars because for the past 3 weeks I have tried several times daily to call and no one ever answers the phone. So I have driven there twice from San Leon because I need to know where to put our mailbox. Both times they have taken down my name and number and said someone would call me, but it is now been a week again and no call. In the meantime, we have no idea where our mail is being delivered.Also, last year, when my address was in Dickinson, not San Leon, I had a $700 phone that showed delivered and yet I never received it. The post office said it must have been delivered to the wrong address. Needless to say, I never received my cell phone. I think someone stole it.

I have lost track of how many times they have lost one of my packages, the postman who delivers our mail doesnt get to our apartments until after 6pm but he will mark packages as delivered earlier so when I go to pick up my package its not there because HE HASNT ACTUALLY SHOWN UP YET! I had one letter that required I sign for it and I happened to get to my box as he was putting it in the box, I asked him do you need me to sign for this? He told me nah man you alright! Whats even more infuriating is paying FedEx or UPS to deliver a package only to find out that somewhere along the line it gets passed to USPS so I still have to deal with these incompetent individuals. If you can avoid the use of this post office I would strongly encourage it

When in to mail items to my husbanf currently in kuwait. I had my 6month old n my 3yr sleep in the car I when inside asked for the box n a form to go pacage everything in my car but a fat Hispanic woman acted as if I was going to steal a BOX. she when on to say u can walk out with that box I explain the reason she said yea well u have to pacage it in here. Very stupid of her to think I would leave my kida outside alone.

A white lady that delivers she is rude she was delivering mail when I got there to open my box she ask if I needed something as I responde I need my mail she did did annoyed face closed the mail door and with this ugly face this is the 2nd time she does it she did it to a more neighbors on the other side a African gentlemen came to deliver my mail to my house I misplaced my key and ask how to get mail he very helpful ask for my id and went and get it himself (5 stars for him) maybe consider hiring more staff like him there is another gentlemen that is nice but this lady is rude not to mention THIS location is always misplacing mail or returning it back because it doest fit hmm if I get 2 boxes a day go drop it off at my house dont be lazy this goes for the white lady she is always returning mail

The worst postal service station I’ve ever seen. The will mark items attempted shipped on amazon to CYA for not getting to every house. I have had my mail delivered to the wrong house on numerous occasions and received my neighbors mail about the same amount. The postal service is definitely not what it used to be... the can’t even be professional enough to wear a uniform anymore. Sad!

The customer service here is absolutely pathetic! The mail carrier for my neighborhood is Worthless! This person would absolutely refuses to take a step out of the vehicle to deliver mail. Ive witnessed this person drive over curves, lawns, and not deliver mail when the mailbox cant be reached by sitting in his seat. There is no point in making a complaint at the office because there is no one there who cares about their service! It is sad that our tax payer dollars are going to people like this!

In Dickinson post office all the postal ladys are very nice except for the african gentlemen. Almost everytime he trys to over charge me its like he doesnt listen to what i have to say. Im just used to the other postal employes because theyre very warm and nice to me. Maybe its just me if so... i apologize.

I live in The Bent Wood subdivision and my mail carrier is worthless. She honks the horn instead of getting out of her car to knock on the door when the package needs a signature. I have suspected this in the past but today it was confirmed, I saw it happen. I tried to call and complain but after calling 32 times with no one picking up I figured it would be pointless to try any longer. So I called the one 800 number to complain and I have been on hold for 45 minutes. US PS sucks dirty homeless balls.

This post office and carrier need to get it together. The time of delivery is never even close to being (a timely manner), you never know when you will receive your mail or if at all. They say they delivered your package but its not delivered for a day or 2 later. I receive my neighbors mail more than once a week. The post office never answer the phone. Im fed up and I wish I could speak to someone higher up the chain because this is ridiculous!!!

The worst post office I have ever had to deal with. Never answers there phone. Told me I would have a new lock on mail box by Tuesday or Wednesday and now they tell me it will be next week. Unacceptable I have a lot of important stuff that I cant get to because of them. And this is not the first time I have had problems with them. And also had a mail carrier pour coffee in my mail box on purpose because I called in on her for throwing my boxes in my yards this post office is horrible.

Sick and tired of my mail carrier delivering my mail when they feel like it! I dont pay extra for items to be shipped when you feel like it! They lie and put on tracker it was delivered when I have sat in my dang window alllllll day and didnt see you at 6:30pm!!!! Put you mark it left in mailbox!!!! The post office supervisors do nothing about it either! This is the 2nd time!

No one wants to help you. There is like 20 people or more but only one ever does the front. Maybe you get lucky and someone is there to help in packages. But usually not. Packages just pilled up by the door. Stuff being mixed up in p.o. boxes and if you get packages, well half will be late or go missing. Also its the post office that is the problem, but they swear up and down its not there fault. They will even argue with you about it and I mean yelling and all. I hate this post office and if I could I would move just so I wouldnt have to deal with them. And anytime you call then and I mean anytime its atlest one hour before you talk to anyone. You can hear the phone go silent like someone fixing to pick up but no its noy!!

I was the victim of an attempted hit and run by the white heavy set female carrier..They also leave your mailbox open on purpose..I called the police and reported these dangerous and malicious acts..Very unprofessional and violent individuals

Just look at the other reviews....and dont ever expect to get anyone on the phone. Our mailbox is jammed and need to get someone out but after two hours of trying to call no luck.

What everyone is saying about packages being marked delivered and never showing up is 100% the truth. Im amazed to see so many similar experiences to the one i dealt with. My stuff gets delivered to an office with cameras. My package was marked signed by one of the employees but the employee never signed and this was verified from camera footage. When i went to submit my claim with purchaser you have no recourse because once again it looks to them as if package was signed for. Someone is clearly stealing our mail. Now that i have seen there are quit a few instances just like mine Im going to the police dept to report this blatant stealing. Trying to get anywhere with the post office itself is a joke. Trust me dont waste your time. Just as others have stated stay clear from this usps if your have to have a package delivered. Its not worth the risk.

I’m never quite sure I get my mail all the time because they leave other peoples mail in my box so I’m sure my mail makes it into other mail boxes. It’s 7:30pm and my carrier has not been. This is getting really old people. It keep getting later and later and I never have the same post person three days in a row.

There was a large soda spilt on the floor in the customer area. I asked if they were going to clean it and they told me NO. The janitorial service would clean it up at night. I asked for a mop and said I would clean it (it is a safety hazard) and they refused to provide me anything I could use to clean up the mess.

I had a bad experience. The workers were very rude, unhelpful and impatient. At every post office Ive ever been to they always let me scan my POID code but at this post office they freaked out and started screaming at me and telling me I couldnt. The wait time was super long with only one employee helping customers while other employees just sat around doing nothing. Go to a different post office!!!
