Service was exceptional. Our Highlander Hybrid needed its 10,000 mile service. We took it in and had some questions we needed answered. The week before our son needed a jump & I learned that it is no longer simply done. We no longer jump from a battery under the hood! This was a most satisfying experience for me when buying my new car. I was determined to shop at home for many reasons. I had narrowed my wishes down to 2 and went out to take a look. I was looking inside the drivers door when Frank Blackcloud approached and asked if I had been helped. I said no and told him what was on my mind. He immediately went in to get the keys to show me what I was looking at. My first look was a 2019 RAV4 which looked brand new inside and out. It had all the features I wanted and MORE and so the learning begins again for me. He rode with me for a short ride down the highway and then let me take it home for my husband to see and after he drove it I was all set for the business end of the deal. My son also looked at it and with the info I gave him he thought it was the right choice for me. I was like a kid at Christmas getting the toy they wanted. This dealership was really easy to work with not even in the same city and we got the paperwork fast signed what we needed to sign and everything was moved right along. Friendly people there was a minor hiccup with the process but was fixed and they all apologized for what happened was a honest mistake so was all good but over was a good experience buying the car and the best thing about it is they delivered it right to us didnt have to go pick it up that saved us time and lost wages having to take off of work so that was awesome on there part.

Having owned a Toyota preciusly I knew I would get a quality vehicle, and liked the model I had chosen. During the dealing process I was very frustrated because I wasnt getting what I wanted for my used trade-in. During the negotiation process I received 3 different offers, with different numbers for the vehicle I was intending to purchase, yet all of them ended with the same allowance for my trade-in. To me it felt like a shell game. I dont like those kind of tactics.

I recently purchased a used Jeep Patriot 2010 from Lake Toyota. While it has 218,000 miles, I was told the engine was fine, the vehicle had undergone a complete inspected, and I was told the only issues to be aware of were the tire pressure sensors and a bad AC fan. Upon receiving it, I noted multiple issues and then had it inspected – the findings: check engine light on caused by code p0420 meaning upstream oxygen sensor does not switch, cat heat line issue, possible catalytic converter failure, the rear subframe is corroded / rusted (the inspecting mechanic said he advised not driving the vehicle due to safety concerns), both rear upper control arms are loose – upper and lower control arms rusted / corroded as well as the sway bar links and the lateral arms, parking break needs replacement, driver-side front blinker is out, passenger-side rear break light is out, as well as the tire pressure sensors and AC fan. Needless to say, I am disappointed, and after speaking with the sales manager (today), I was assured there was nothing Lake Toyota could do because I bought it “as is” sight-unseen. I relied on the assessment I was given by Lake Toyota much to my chagrin. I wouldn’t recommend this dealership to anyone who wants an honest and trustworthy transaction.

I looked online for a vehicle on the website and found the 2012 Buick Enclave. The color of the vehicle was to my liking so I made contact with Tyler Bjerke who is a salesman at the dealership and he helped me to obtain the Enclave and when I got to the dealership he made arrangements for me to test drive the Enclave. After the test drive I was pleased with the Enclave with how it drove around Devils Lake. i then spoke with Paula who is the finance manager at the dealership and made final arrangements to purchase the Enclave. The staff really did a great job helping me with the purchase. When I am ready tom purchase my next vehicle I will look to them first. I definitely recommend them when looking for a new or used vehicle.

Salesman are pleasant and helpful, but not pushy. I wasnt planning on buying a car that day, we were looking. Then I saw the red Toyota C-hr. We took it for a test drive. When we got back we noticed the black C-hr. This is THE CAR Ive been looking for. Im keeping my Hummer H3 for bad weather and towing, but for most out of town appointments we will be driving my new Toy!!!!

I had a 10 am appointment yesterday. I arrived at Lake Toyota a little early. They were able to get me in on time at 10 am. They did a good job changing the oil and rotating the tires on my 2019 Toyota Camry. I also asked them to vacuum the floor of the drivers and passenger seating area which they did. However, when I was waiting in the waiting room area, one of the salespeople started up a conversation with me which involved profanity. Then he got into politics which I dont like to discuss publicly and it made me a little uncomfortable. The conversation lasted about 20 to 25 minutes and I would say the F word was used a total of at least six times by the salesperson. I dont like to use profanity and that also made me uncomfortable. I politely listened to the salesperson as I am a person that does not like conflict. This is the reason I am unable to give the dealer a five star rating during this visit. I intend to return to Lake Toyota; however, I hope in the future, the salespeople are more professional and refrain from talking about subject areas like politics that may make people uncomfortable. Thank you.

This past week I had a appointment for bmw to get an alignment done. This is the second time Ive had my cars aligned there and everytime I drive away feeling like a brand new car. Not only does it feel great but it stays that way for months compare to other shops. Kelly Leben has went above and beyond what was expected of him. Before getting an alignment at other shops would last my 2012 tundra 2 weeks on a job site. With him doing it its lasted a good 4 months. My mom and dad recently just bought a new Highlander from Thomas Fluge. They were on the search for the perfect vehicle before leaving for Arizona for the winter. Mom was determined to get a red one but fell in love with the Moondust color once Thomas showed them it. The buying experience is classic small town and top notch at Lake Toyota. Thomas delivered the vehicle to my parents home and programed the GPS and everything for them. He was patient teaching them the technology and at no time did we feel pressured or like we were getting taken advantage of. I know my parents will be very happy, thank you Lake Toyota.

The folks in the servicing department are very informative and told me exactly what is happening with my vehicle. Even though this was routine service, they showed me the dirty air filters and notified me that it looked like some mice were trying to make a nest in the filter area. This information helped me to find the area in my garage where the mice were coming in and prevent further intrusions into my garage. I cant thank them enough for their help!

We had a really great experience at Lake Toyota. First, regarding selection, when we told them what we were looking for, they had two examples for us to test drive within days. And if youre going to Lake Toyota, ask for David Galow! He says hes one of the new guys, but he was exceptional to work with. He knew his stuff, and he was attentive without being annoying or overbearing. Very relaxed, relative to the reputation of car salesmen. They also gave us (fair is the wrong word) GENEROUS trade-in value for our car.The only thing keeping me from a 5-star rating is the person who walked us through the paperwork was VERY pushy with extras. We were in a little bit of a hurry and had to decline things several times before she would move on. But the rest of the experience was above and beyond what we expected. Highly recommend!

As part of my service, they were supposed to fix a flat, which they did. But they failed to put the spare back on. They said they couldn’t find the rods, but they never asked me where they were. When I told them, they said they had the truck scheduled only for an hour, so they couldn’t help me. Extremely disappointed in my Toyota “care.” So much for buying a 2020 with platinum coverage. And this was after attempting to contact Toyota care to fix the flat to begin with, which was a nightmare. Terrible service all the way around.

Give this place a call, your lucky if anybody answers. If you do get though theyll put you on hold and continue to do so until you hang up.Im not sure why this is because if you go inside you will see a bunch of employees? They have a great master mechanic and thats about it.

Lake Toyota is a great place to buy a car if you want to get it from a dealership. They treat you with respect and are straight forward. The experience is better than going to Minot dealerships or Fargo dealerships in my experience. It is worth the drive to Devils Lake to buy a car. Over the years I have bought 4 cars from them. Keep in mind the better down payment you have and less you owe on your trade in make a big factor in the deal you can get with any dealership. Going to Lake Toyota you will always be guaranteed a salesman that will be straight forward with you, know what they are selling you and will always treat you like a friend of theirs. Nice enough dealer, prices okay. Ignore their bumper to bumper warranty. Within a week of buying a 2014 car from them the check engine light went on. Took it to a toyota dealer and it needed a new gas cap. These guys wouldnt cover the cost of a $21 cap. Wouldnt count on the bumper to bumper for anything more than a light bulb lol

Received a letter from the dealership inquiring as to trading in my 2014 Tundra. After calling them several times I finally received a response. The initial response was favorable as to trade in value.They asked about my preference in color and options. Following some medical trips out of state, we finally came together with a date to visit the dealership.On my arrival at the dealership we were kind of set back as to sales representatives attitude. My wife even commented that most of the reps were kind of standoffish. Explaining that we were there to finalize a trade for new vehicle, no one seemed to know anything about my previous conversation with the rep earlier.There seemed to be no communication between the reps as to my arrival and to finalize the purchase.I know some of the final purchase products needed to be authorized before the vehicle was ready, it was kinda like pulling teeth to get the papers completed.Once the paperwork was done things moved along smoother. Finance rep was excellent and explained the items clearly. Overall the experience was satisfactory. Ive owned a number of Toyota vehicles over the years, and I believe this one will prove to a quality purchase.
