Its wonder that this place still exist! Working just 3 days could be accepted as reasonable because of drastically slashed number of (Canadian) visitors/customers but practice of not answering phone calls, not responding to messages and sudden changes of business hours makes very bad picture.

I have had my stuff stuck over in Detroit for over a month and counting. I get absolutely no response from the email requests and no one is answering the phone. I am thinking I have been had and contemplating taking action assuming the business is still operating . The competition certainly is and the response from them was next day. Once and if I get my stuff, I am outta here Covid or no Covid.

Wow! Im so impressed with the service. From the same day (maybe same hour or minute?) emails, to the great location, to the helpful and pleasant counter service, I cant speak highly enough of them. Great parking, close proximity to the bridge, excellent prices.......can I say more? This is a fantastic business and Im thankful its there!

Service wise: 4/5. Cost wise: 5/5. Location: 3/5. The new location is a bit of a labyrinth to get to, and it isnt obvious where it is (though the giant flag does help a lot). Good news is parking is easy, and getting on the bridge is like 15 seconds away. Only problem is I never use the bridge, and I never have a reason to be out near this new location, so thats a negative for me.Ive only ever had to deal with two front desk people: a guy, and a girl. The guy is super nice and helpful, the girl is always on the phone, and is always angry when you get there. I assume she owns the place? Because I dont know how she is still employed there.

I am pretty sure I was one of the first 50 people to sign up, and I still use it regularly today. The new location is super convenient!

Used My Detroit Address for the first time around a week or so ago. They were still getting the facility up and running and while I was there cameras were being installed. I walked up to the counter and was greeted by the employees. A male and a female. Ive never used this service before and didnt receive a message my package was there yet. However the male employee asked what Box # I was and I told him and also told him I was expecting tires.The male employee knew right where they were. This is where I found out they didnt accept Debit or Credit and only cash. Not sure if this is due to receint opening or if itll change. I was told I could go around the corner to the motel and use their ATM. Didnt love having o do this....Overall I was pleased with the service and will likely use it again, however Id much prefer to use a card than cash. Please get a point of sale machine.

I have been a customer of My Detroit Address for about 3 years, I do not use it regularly, but when I do they always go above and beyond. Recently I had a shipment sent to them for a bike part that was under warranty. I had left it there through the move and over 3 months. Eventually I decided I did not need the packages after all and gave permission to dispose of them. I offered to pay for the storage fees, but they said that was not their policy and would not charge me because I did not pick up the package. This type of service is why I continue to use them as my go to for US packages. Thank you for being so professional.

Everyone associated with MyDetroitAddress is excellent! They are always so polite, smiles greet you when you walk in the door and if you tip them they are very appreciative. I love having this option for having my packages delivered to Michigan and not have to pay the extremely high shipping costs for having merchandise shipped to Canada. I am extremely pleased with this company and even more pleased with the men and women who work there. I highly recommend them to anyone who lives in Canada and who wished they had a U.S.A. address.

I decided to try this business out as a slightly cheaper alternative to another similar business. Thats about the only thing it has going for it. When we went, there was a man smoking weed inside the business, not sure if he was an employee or just hanging out with the employee. Either way, when we walked in he went into the back to continue smoking around customers packages. I guess thats marginally less awful than smoking it around the young child who was also there.They have no means of accepting credit or debit payments and they dont even seem to have a cash drawer to make change. The employee had to go fish an envelope of change from somewhere to break a $20.The lobby is dingy and dirty looking and there were broken down packages discarded in the customer area and left there.Its a good service and they have a decent base in place, but they need a lot of work on aesthetics and professionalism. I think for the extra dollar Ill go back to the other place.

Good services, not enough open hrs

Poor service, 2 people working at the very busiest time of year. During my hour wait , witnessed 4 people get told they can’t find there package. Also learned that they lost the actual phone to the Canadian phone line so that has not been monitored for a week or so. A bit of clean up and fresh paint on a wall or two, would actually sayto the public that they actually care. I feel sorry for the woman on the front line dealing with the “ missing management” . As her shirt said “She is a blessing”. Too bad no one cared enough to support her.

I have used this service for years, but now this business is choosing not to enforce mask wearing in either their customers or employees. Their employee even gave me attitude when I requested that he put his on while interacting with me. I will not be back

Easy efficient and courteous.The workers are all friendly and pleasant. Been using their services since they opened. You can text or call a local number for any questions or concerns. Couldn’t be happier and it will save you a ton on shipping costs !Highly recommend

NOT EVEN WORTH 1 STAR !! Absolute WORST customer service I have ever experienced. Guy behind the counter yelled at me for showing him the box # my boss wrote to me via text instead of reading it to him and was VERY aggressive!! I felt extremely uncomfortable and could not believe the lack of “customer service” this company provides. My business will continue to go to MY DETROIT MAILBOX which is around the corner where they treat their customers with RESPECT! I will be passing this message along to everyone I know who delivers their packages to Detroit - as most of them go to my Detroit mailbox anyway for good reason!I never write reviews but this was by far the worst experience I have ever had at any establishment and want to warn other customers to not experience the same thing.

Operation hours are great as I usually cant go before 6 pm. I dont like that wait till next day to get notified for picking up. They could improve this through implementing scanning techniques that sort packages instantly.

Best way to enjoy free continental US shipping, just have them delivered here. Why pay international shipping to Canada when these folks are just 5 minutes from the Detroit-Windsor Tunnel. Reasonable rates !!

The only positive is the closeness to the tunnel. Received an email from them saying my package was in. When I went to get it I had to wait because the employee was sitting out front in a car smoking a joint. When he finally came in I had to tell him my account number several times and then he couldnt find my package! Never did get the package. The entire building smelled like weed. The person in line behind me came out empty handed as well. Could find their package either! They know where to find the weed though.

Power to the Canadians! No more Duty and ridiculous shipping charges for living in Canada. These guys provide excellent services and will do everything in their means to ensure that your package gets in your hands as fast as possible.

I will agree that the hours are quite convenient. The staff have been mostly friendly. Turn around time from delivery by the carrier and process time by the staff is extremely slow and inconvenient - and yes, we know the drill, that we need to check our package history - yet sometimes it is well over a day or two from when our packages are delivered to when it shows in our package history - many, many customers, yet too few staff When there has been a concern, the staff and whomever sends the emails, tend to blame the mail carriers and/or the customer. This location cannot seem to take responsibility for their errors when they occur. They have poor conflict and resolution skills. Too many times, my packages have been lost temporarily and I have had to return. There are two parking spaces, yet most of the time they are occupied by others who are not actually customers of this location. We are looking for another location. :(

I have been going to my detroit address for 3 years, and had a staff member who greets me by my name everytime I enter. Now they have new employees, and just went down hill. They cant find my package. They are telling me I have to contact USPS. USPS confirms the name of the staff member who signs. My detroit address tells me its not their problem. 3 years of consistent delivery has now ended.

Great idea but bad location close to a liquor store. I was aggressively bothered when picking up parcels for my husband on two occasions with my daughters. You should really find a better location and the parking was a nightmare, had to circle the block for 20 mins with construction. There are competitors out there with safer locations. Im sorry, just needed to be said.

Great hours and great service but the processing time SUCKS! It needs to improve. ive used other service and when i track my package and it says delivered, im able to pick it up right away. i dont understand why i cant pick it up the same day as other places process items instantly while im there with tracking number. instead of having to wait 24hrs for their email that its ready for pickup. its so inconvenient when we try to make plans to cross the border or while were already across the border just to pickup 1 or 2 items. for that i give it 3 stars instead of 5.
