Used Jays for the first time and they have a customer for life. Not much of a car guy so getting my car fixed can be stressful for fear of being cheated. This was my 1st trip to this repair shop after some bad experiences at another shop. Wasnt sure exactly what was wrong but Jay got it fixed for me. Took a few days but it seems to be running good now. And the people were very nice A+

Jays Auto Repair Do not take your car here if you care about it, Jay K Kue took hus car here because he was initially getting it fixed here, he ended up finding a more convenient mechanic closer to my home, he couldnt get to my car for a couple of days and somebody tried to steal it on jays property, jay completely screwed me when @jay kue asked how can we come to a understanding he completely blew jay off, I cant speak on the service and if theyre great at fixing cars, because jay kue didnt get a chance, but I will say this YOUR CAR IS NOT SAFE AT THERE LOCATION 3 OTHERS CARS WERE BROKEN INTO ONSITE AND ONE WAS ACTUALLY STOLEN, think real long and hard about where you leave your cars folks because theres sheisty mechanics who will leave you out to dry

He’s very multitasking as well, and Very talented at his job. The whole staff are fantastic at what they do.Go here if you need work done to your vehicle. This is my mothers mechanic I also found out recently that my coworker has been going to J for over 5 years. I dropped off my car Saturday afternoon and as soon as I walked in I was greeted immediately helped in the office and spoke with Jay about what was going on with my Mini Van. Although I came in late Saturday J assured me that by Monday he would get back with me but what was going on with my vehicle I had been screwed around by so many other mechanics Im confident Jay and his staff will get the job done. Ive should I listen to my mother when she told me to go to him years ago.

Fix daughter car did a awesome job

They did a great job on my body control module security system. The got my car running again after my equinox was in the shop for almost 3 weeks at express auto repair. Plus I got a discount on the repairs. They had to go behind what the other mechanics did wrong.

Jays is horrible. They put ball joint in and didnt grease it. Ball joint was DRY and grease fitting was not put in.They replaced axle shaft too and didnt put seal on correctly. Ended up leaking fluid.Now I have bigger problems.I had to take it to another place. Dont trust the people at Jays.They couldnt do one ball joint right. Why would I trust them to do four.Even though its under warranty I didnt want to go back because I didnt trust them to touch my truck again. I went somewhere else to a mechanic who did the job right.

Im from Kalamazoo. Car died in Detroit. Had it towed here based on AAA reviews. Car then wouldnt fail for them. He kept it for a week and tried everything to get the failure to repeat. Came in with unknown cause for car shifting. Assumed it was a suspension issue on route to work. After having the car towed, Jay showed me the issue with the vehicle. He started looking to get me a used cradle knowing it would be an expensive ordeal to get brand new. He could have easily charged me for the brand new but dug a bit to find there was a recall on the issue. Even though problem wasn’t solved, saved me $$$ while doing the right thing. Appreciate and respect people who show integrity in their business! Definitely recommend.

This was a great place! They got me in and out in 24 hours, fastest turn around process ever. I have AAA and they were the first place recommended. My serpentine belt broke while I was driving and the gang took the time to explain to me what happened and repaired my car in no time. 100% recommend going here.

Fast service, manager was very helpful and gave me the best parts for less price. They are nice and will not charge randomly for things they didnt fix. Moreover they will tell you if someone else messed something in your car and if the problem was less that you thought. Jay the manager is very professional. Recommended!

I been going here for a year and have received both amazing and fast service. I had a problem with my front passenger tire, and I took it in on 01/19 and it was ready for pick that night. Jay also offer a free car wash.

I woke up this morning at 950am with no heat in my 02 Suburban. By 1045, my truck was blasting so much heat I had to turn it down. The system flush that Jay and his team performed on my truck was needed. The $86.50 I spent was well worth it. I was going to be cheap and find an alley repair person to fix it, but why spend more later, when I can get it done right the first time. Very professional, fast, and informative. And Cierra (I hope thats the correct spelling) at the front desk was very courteous and knowledgeable (she kept me up to date on what was happening and how long it would take). She even helped me find the correct building because I was at the wrong shop , at first (she stood outside in the SNOW until I pulled up to their shop). I would MOST DEFINITELY be going back for all my repair needs. Thanks for helping me and for my free car wash.

I went in prepared to spend whatever I had to, to Improve the condition of my vehicle. The mechanic I spoke with could have sold me a story and/or laid out the issues to my car and took my money, but he didn’t. He told me what was wrong with my vehicle and that I should just keep it until it goes out on it’s own. If that’s not honesty idk what is.

They had to replace the studs and I got a new tire but now its making a grinding noise. I wont be taking my car back to them cause whatever this new noise is I feel like theyre the cause and I dont need any more problems than I already have.
