Destin Flooring America was a great flooring company in Destin , Florida to work with. They had a great selection to choose from. I especially was impressed with Dan Carr who I worked directly with. He always responded quickly for any concerns I had. I will certainly choose this company again.

We were given the name of Destin Flooring America by the rental company we use. We needed to pull up the carpet in our rental and I loved the look of porcelain wood flooring. We were on a tight schedule since we were only in town for a few days. The sales associate showed us some different options and we made a decision quickly. Dan Carr was at our condo early the next morning to give us an estimate and we were able to schedule the flooring to start the following Monday. We were so impressed that Dans team was able to pull up the old carpet and lay the new floors in a matter of days. Hurricane Sally even made a visit but Dans team was able to finish the flooring on time for our renters arrival over the weekend. I highly recommend this group for anyone looking for new flooring.

We needed transitions between our carpet and wood floors. Dan came out the day after we called. He brought several wood strips to match the floors and took measurements. The following week, a crew came out and installed. I am so pleased of the quality work they did and the professionalism they showed. Everyone was so nice. If I need more work on my floors in the future I know I can depend on them to do an awesome job with a very responsible price.

This was my second experience working with Destin Flooring.The most important aspect is they are easy to work with. Although pictures of the finished product would have been appreciated since we are out of town owners, the final install looked great!

We had new flooring put into our rental unit in Destin so all arrangements we made were long distance. Norman was so nice and helpful with product selection, availability, and quoting prices and timing the job perfectly! The installer, Eric, was excellent! He went above and beyond our expectations. He not only finished way sooner than we thought but he put felt under all our furniture feet, moved a cable that was an eyesore, and even fixed a drawer knob that had been broken!!!!! Over all I would definitely use them again and highly recommend them to everyone! Good job guys!!! Thank you!

We were ready to get rid of our wall-to-wall carpeting in our great room, dining room, and den. We visited many flooring stores and were impressed with the staff at Destin Flooring America. It started with the warm reception of their Showroom Manager Patti. The competency continued with our salesman, Mark Williams. He walked us through the pros & cons of all flooring options. We selected engineered hardwood. Mark “insisted” we take their sample board home to make suret our tentative selection would go with our furniture and not clash with our tile/carpet at transition seams. We made our decision, and Destin Flooring America had the hardwood ready to be delivered in less than a week. They delivered it two days later with directions to let the flooring acclimate to our home’s environment (temperature & humidity) for a few days. The installer assigned to our project was Eric Smith. He arrived three days after delivery to start the install. And what a job he did! He is truly an artisan with a great personality. He treated our furniture like it was his own—no nicks or scratches on his watch. Eric’s attention to detail, spot-on measurements, and careful plank placement gave us a PERFECT floor. Bottom Line: We experienced 1st service from dealer selection, wood selection & purchase, and expert installation.

The crew head by Patrick cam on the day and time decided- in one day- they managed to move furniture, install vinyl flooring in 2 bedrooms and new carpeting in our master bedroom! Called three times requesting a quote for tile. Each time I was told the sales associate would return my call with an estimate. Never returned any of my calls so I visited this location in person instead. I was told that they did not have the information for the tile available in the store so they would have to call me back the next day. Once again, never received a phone call. Allergic to customer service. Steer clear.

If you want to get a quote, I would avoid Mark at all costs. I needed to replace some old carpet in a large home that I own and rent out and wanted to upgrade to hardwood. Since I dont live in Florida, I picked a few options from known brands manufacturers websites. Id bought laminate from this store before for a different property and theyd managed to get it installed with only one callback for an issue so I thought Id give them another try. The receptionist referred me to Mark who confirmed that they carry Shaw so I gave him the flooring style name, color, and the corresponding manufacturers numbers for each. I gave him the address of the property and the key code to get in. He said hed call back with a price in a few days. After a week of waiting, I called and the receptionist said hed just stepped out for a second and so I left my callback number. No response, so the next day I left a second message. This went unanswered so I asked the receptionist for his cell phone number. Left two more messages on it with no response. When I finally managed to get him on the phone, he said he couldnt recall what it was that I wanted so I provided all the information again. Waited a few more days and then left several more messages before he finally called back and asked where I got the manufacturers numbers. I told him they came from the Shaw website and he said he couldnt find them. I was sitting at my desk so I looked on the website and they were still showing just as they had been before. I asked him how hard hed looked and he said he hadnt, that hed just supplied the info to his sales rep who told he he couldnt find them. I asked him to have the rep phone me so we could sort it out and he said they dont typically speak to clients. I pointed out that several weeks had past with virtually no information provided and that I needed to purchase something in the next few days. He surprised me by saying he gave priority to customers who come to the showroom because their presence indicates they are more serious about purchasing. I pointed out that I had explained when I first spoke to him that I live 1000 miles away and that Id done business with an associate of his before from that same distance with no treatment as a second class customer. I asked him point blank if he wanted to quote this job for me or if my inability to be present somehow disqualified me from his wanting to make a sale. He said he absolutely wanted to help me, apologized for the delay and promised me he would get back to me within the hour with a unit price quote. Hed obviously not bothered to measure the home in the several weeks since I first contacted him. Of course, he never called back with that quote. Destin Flooring America thus lost my business to a competitor and I certainly wont bother with them again to help with flooring for any other properties I own. Total waste of my time!

Please do NOT use this company. Kitchen backsplash and 3inches of backsplash around the bathtub total cost $3000....7 weeks to complete!!!! Kitchen backsplash 12”x14’ and 3 inches of mosaic with glass liner around the tub. Also my salesperson favorite phrase....”I’ll get back to you” which he usually didnt. And all money was paid prior to completion of the project. Yeah I know, my fault for that one.
