I called this company to come and spray my newly purchased and renovated beach house. 3 weeks later we are still seeing roaches….I called the company to come back out and respray because they are supposed to guarantee their work, and the girl who answered the phone had such a bad attitude telling me they don’t come and respray the whole house and they will only spray one room!!! What good does that do? Roaches don’t stay in one room!!! Very unprofessional! They don’t guarantee or stand behind their work!!! RUN AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!! I have over 30 rentals and I’ve NEVER dealt with a pest control company so bad!!!! I called another company that will come out today and clean up their mess!!! DO NOT USE EMERALD COAST PEST CONTROL!!!!!

I ve been trying to call everyday and couldnt get hold of anybody. It is always an answering machine. I understand if they are busy but it is been (3) weeks now and not returning my call. I tried to call Mr. Clayatt and still not getting a return call.Mr. Clayatt , I am waiting for your call.

12/10 recommended.AMAZING customer service!Both Melissa & Chris were helpful, friendly, and professional. As renters we have to jump through a few hoops with the lanlord. Melissa made the whole process simple and handled the majority of the back and forth. While all the time considering our personal schedules and being flexible to fit our needs.Chris was punctual and very thorough in our inspection . It was like having a life long friend in our home. An absolute delight.Thank you all very much for your hard work!

I have been a customer with Emerald Coast Pest Control since we moved to the Florida Panhandle and only have received excellent service from the office to the field. They point out concerns to address just like a doctor for your home. They work with my schedule and are always prompt, professional and very courteous. Highly recommend them and I will continue to utilize them to keep my property / investment in the best pest free condition possible. My compliments and appreciation to Melissa in how she manages my account and in scheduling my homes treatment and annual inspections.

Emerald Coast has been our termite service from years. Melissa is great with questions and scheduling, just delightful. I really do feel like I can call with any questions any time. Chris V. was our service person yesterday and he could not have been more professional and helpful. Believe me, you need people like those in the company to help you fight bugs in our wet and humid coastal area!

We have had our home inspected inside and out for the last four years by Emerald Coast Pest Control. Each year we have received a termite renewal notice, call the office and the lady has always been polite and scheduled an appointment within a week. Every one of their service people are professional, knowledgeable, and provide us with a detailed report with recommendations on what needs to be addressed outside. We highly recommend Emerald Coast Pest Control.

I haven been a customer of Emerald Coast Pest Control for over 20 years and have always been provided with great service. But something has changed with this business. In November I received my termite renewal notice and I immediately called to schedule an inspection. Nobody called me back. I then called back in December. Again nobody called me back. In January I finally spoke to the lady in the office who told me that because my contract had expired she would have to talk to the owner and get back with me. Again, she never called me back. Subsequent calls were never returned. Tomorrow I will be hiring a competitor who actually wants my business.

These guys are great. Were able to fit us into their busy schedule within a days time. Dan was very helpful and insightful! The lady in the admin office was very kind as well and prompt with scheduling. Will continue to use them!!

Where do I even begin? Let me just break down the last 4 years.We bought our home in March of 2016 and purchased a termite bond immediately upon closing. Paid the full $800, had the inspection, signed the bond. Was told we would receive an annual renewal contract every year moving forward which would require us to pay an additional roughly $200 and have another inspection at that time. Seems easy.2017: March comes and goes. We realize sometime in either April or May that we never received said renewal in the mail. My husband called and so begins our relationship with MELISSA. She tells my husband they must have the wrong email address for him and thats why we didn’t receive it. He gives her his email (which has not changed). Another week or so goes by and we still haven’t gotten anything. He calls back. “Oh we’ve been having computer problems”. We finally get the contract via email and a couple weeks later we get it in the mail. We get an inspection scheduled, pay the renewal fee, move on. I believe by the time it was done in 2017 it was either May or early June (definitely NOT march, which would have been the appropriate time).2018: We never receive ANYTHING in the mail. After SEVERAL phone calls with MELISSA an inspector came out the Friday before Labor Day and did our inspection, gave us a few things to fix, got an additional inspection done to prove we took care of those things, paid our bill, moved on. It was the end of AUGUST of 2018 because, yet again, they never sent us anything in the mail to renew.And here we are in 2020. Never heard anything from them in 2019. Honestly they were so off schedule that we didn’t realize it until APRIL of 2020 that it had been over 1 1/2 years. So we call. My husband tells Melissa that we need to schedule an inspection and pay our renewal because its been a while and we haven’t received anything in the mail or email. Again. Melissa tells my husband we do NOT need an inspection and we aren’t due for any treatment until next year and NO WORRIES, because they are sending out their april invoices now and we will receive one in the mail but she’ll also email it to us. I’m already confused because we’ve never received a renewal in April (she made it seem as if it was our normal renewal month so we just went with it because maybe that meant we are finally going to start receiving something on a normal basis). I also know we have always had an inspection so I open the email and lo and behold, it states to SCHEDULE OUR INSPECTION and send them a check. So again, my husband calls and has a conversation with Melissa and i’m sure he wasn’t 100% pleasant because now he’s just beyond frustrated and I doubt anyone reading this can blame him. She proceeds to tell my husband that they have 3200 customers so they can’t help it if sometimes things don’t go out on time… We finally get an inspection scheduled for the following week (April 2020). Our inspector shows up and proceeds to tell me how my husband called last week and the conversation between “him and melissa got heated” and he “overheard” the whole thing. So I explain that, while i’m sure it probably did, my husband was primarily frustrated over the fact that melissa said we didn’t need an inspection when we obviously DO. This guy tells me that Melissa didn’t say that (because clearly I have so much to gain by lying at this point?) He then tells me that they send out renewals 6-8 weeks before they are due every year for us to have time to schedule an inspection. HAHA i can’t make this up y’all. I reiterate we have NEVER received ANYTHING in the mail on time, and in order to even get a renewal AT ALL we have to call MORE than once EVERY year. He tells me that clearly it’s a problem with the post office.NEEDLESS to say, we will NEVER be giving this company another dollar and i’m only writing this to make sure no one else endures the endless frustrations we have dealt with for over 4 years now.

Excellent customer service. They are always willing to go out of their way to ensure customer satisfaction. The technicians, especially Mr Vogel (Buzz), do an excellent job and you know your house is in good hands. They always respond in a timely manner and ensure everything is explained with the utmost detail!

Absolutely the worst company ever, for years now if we are not home bc we work during the day they will not come in even if we leave the door open for them, we find pest and call and leave messages and no one ever calls us back, they take your credit card to get paid and never follow up with actual service in the home. Do not use them.

Scheduling, Follow Up and Delivery Has No Priority!! Having read the previous reviews, I thought that my chances were better after speaking with Melissa. Initially I was told the service would be performed on a Thursday at 9:00 a.m. By 1:30 pm that day I contacted Melissa and was advised that I misinterpreted her and that the appointment was for 9:00 a.m. on Friday. Once again at 1:00 pm I contacted Emerald Coast Pest Control, and asked when I could expect the technician. I was placed on hold for 5 minutes, then cut off. Subsequently, I tried to contact them no less then 4 times over 2 hour period. Each time my call was sent to voicemail. I am still awaiting a return call!!If you cant get a business to respond to you prior to giving them your money; I can only imagine what it would be like if you did have a problem with their service.I have since moved on to a different pest control company that proudly displays a map of Florida.
