This school was so amazing it had a daycare for all the kids to have snacks play games and go on field trips. the karate experience was great we learned to spar We leaned to do multiple forms of gymnastic based tricks and moves I highly recommend this school to anyone in the area!

Our children have been attending Resolute Martial Arts for nearly 10 years. Our youngest recently earned his adult black belt. During our time here Hollie, Clint and team have been such positive role models for our children, and their teaching goes far beyond karate fundamentals. Our children have learned respect, perseverance, integrity, humility, courage and more. In addition, they are learning about hard work and dedication while having fun, meeting new friends and staying fit. All of this is provided in a safe and fun environment thanks to Hollie and Clint. Both of my kids have been a part of Clint and Hollis organization for many years. Their classes have taught my kids the discipline to handle challenging situations, how to communicate respectfully to adults and their peers and they have provided them an opportunity to become better athletes. What people dont see is the extra time that Clint and Holli spend in schools helping their kids and playing the role of father, mother, brother or sister. Solely because they care for all of their kids far beyond the time they spend in the studio. We are lucky to have them in our community!

We have been a part of the Resolute family for over 5 years. Our oldest earned his black belt through their program and our youngest trained until he earned his purple belt before we moved to Gulf Breeze. This is so much more than an afterschool program with transportation! Resolute provides amazing role models for my kids to look up to and aspire to be like. My daughter has attended Resolute for 5 years now, and has done everything from their karate program, to after school and summer camps. They have taught her respect and discipline. She never complains about having to go to karate, and some days takes multiple classes. She is now a black belt, and will continue on to her first degree black belt. The owners, Hollie and Clint are wonderful and it’s clear they truly care about each of their kids that go there. My daughter was not happy at boys and girls club after school when she was in kindergarten, so we decided to try Resolute instead, and I’m so glad we did! Haven’t looked back since! My daughter, and even I have made friends from Resolute, that we probably otherwise wouldn’t have. It truly is an awesome place, and my youngest daughter will go there as well when she is old enough!

My daughter loved Tiny Tigers (she’s older now) and I still love watching Tiny Tigers! The class is jammed packed with obstacle courses, teaching values and learning karate; it is full of physical and educational activities. It is the perfect introductory activity for your little one to fall in love with the sport! Master Hollie Hamm doesn’t let just any instructor teach this class either, she is right there, front row center leading your child through this class to ensure your toddlers are given the very best experience possible 😊

We LOVE Resolute and all of the staff. My son started in Tiny Tigers with Hollie. She is amazing! He spent many months with her and still shows the respect and self discipline he learned in her class- at home. She is so great with the littles in her class and he always had fun! He has since moved up to an older age group and Clint is his teacher, he also takes private lessons with Mr. Mendoza. They are all truly amazing and honestly care about my son’s health, academics, behavior, manners, and martial arts performance. I cannot say enough good things about Resolute!! My school age kids attended a day of winter break camp and had a blast! They did nerf gun games and had a lot of fun, physical activity. Resolute has passionate owners and a beautiful, clean 5,000 sq ft. facility. We will definitely be looking into being a part of more classes and camps here! Worth the drive into Destin from SRB.

I have been in the Martial Arts for over 15 years. Over the years I have had the unique opportunity to see and be a part of many Martial Arts schools. I have seen so called mcdojos and I have seen good programs. I can honestly say out of them all Resolute Martial Arts is the best. The instructors really care about their students, not only their Martial Arts instruction but their lives. I have been there when they have visited students in the hospital or gone to students Birthday parties. It is an extremely rare occurrence for Martial Arts instructors to be so personally invested in their students but especially the owners themselves. When you train at resolute you are being taught by a senior black belt instructor from the time you are a white belt on up. This is also a rare experience many Martial Arts schools leave their newer and younger students to brown belts or instructors who have not been properly trained to teach. Not at resolute as resolute you are taught by the best. They have won countless awards and titles and their students excel in everything they do. That shows that true character is taught here. I love my Resolute family! They truly are the best!

For the past 5 years my son has been with Resolute. I simply cannot express enough accolades regarding Hollie, Clint, Mr. Mendoza, Mr. Roberts and the rest of the staff. Terrible, the lady who does the tiny tiger classes showed favoritism and didn’t allow my son to be part of the exercises because he didn’t learn as fast as the other kids. We called to dispute because my son went home crying. We told “holly” I think her name is we want to cancel the lessons because of the issue and she wouldn’t. After calling multiple times we never got the issue resolved. They reported it to our credit and now we are taking further action. Don’t bring your child here unless you believe that mistreatment is okay. Our issue will be resolved soon but save yourself the headache.

As a fellow martial arts instructor, I love visiting Resolute Martial Arts and would recommend it to anyone. The kids have great talent and Ms. Hollie and Mr. Clint are incredible. We have been involved with the Hamms and their dojo for almost two years and we could not recommend them more highly. They go out of their way to make people feel special.

These are life lessons that Hollie and Clint show themselves and also teach each day and we are so grateful that our kids have been able to grown under their love and leadership. I have two kids with ADHD and though 1 was expelled twice for behavior issues we kept going back. Three years later he is a stellar student. You may not understand or agree with their ways but my kid is proof it works. He went from being suspended at school every month to not even going to the principal office. Worth every penny! Mr and Mrs Hamm are awesome! Mr Mendoza and Miss Katie and Ms. Porche are top notch teachers. Love them!

This is the place to be! All 4 of my grandchildren went here Holly and Clint Hamm were the best. Not just as karate instructors but any time I was at my breaking point they would take the time to talk with them and get them to help and not fight and argue with each other and it was always in a loving way. With 4 kids and losing a job we were going to have to pull the kids out but Holly and Clint stepped up and wouldn’t allow that to happen. They took on our financial responsibility to keep the kids in a stable environment while our household was upside down. We did eventually have to leave Resolute due to our new jobs and not being able to get the kids there in time and the kids were devastated. They ask about Mr & Mrs Hamm all the time and if they will ever get to go back. I believe this says so much when your kids want to spend time with adults these days they truly love the Hamms and I have the utmost respect for them. There is no place I’d could recommend more than Resolute Martial Arts.

Hollie, Clint, and their staff are wonderful karate instructors and their school is top notch. We have experienced other local karate schools that are not as structured as Resolute and were very disappointed.

Great martial arts classes, camps, and parents nights out. Staff is great and enthusiastic on teaching all day 5 days a week and helping you out with your regular and blackbelt training(once you are advanced red belt).i went from a tiny tiger (ages 3 and up i believe) to a first degree black belt. i recommend it to anyone but sometimes when you have all forms, combos, and kicks/punches memorized and practiced, doing the same thing again can get boring. Thank you Mrs. and Mr. Hamm for everything! Overall a great place! :) I kind of feel i should write longer... all these others are HUGE!

Ive been working with Clarissa since January. My first session, I couldnt even get through the warmup exercises. Since then, she has pushed and coached me to do more than I ever thought possible. I love her approach to fitness and highly recommend you sign up! Its never too late to get in shape!

My daughter began her journey to a black belt with Hollie Hamm and Resolute Martial Arts. Years of dedications, strength and character building were taught to my daughter by Holiie and Clint Hamm. I could think of no better people to teach my child respect, honor and character. Hi Holly and Clint! Just wanted to let you know that I signed Jake up for a trial month at Trio martial arts. Jake and I visited a couple of schools in the area to give them a try and trio was by far the best and closest to what and how hes learned from you guys. I must tell you, based on what Ive seen most of the schools here are a joke. No respect, structure or conviction to teach. You guys are hands down the most professional and best Ive seen and Im so glad Jake had the opportunity to learn and grow with you guys. Thanks again for the referral. Sensei Brett was awesome. As far as the Anonymous comment...lets get some things straight, my son has attended Resolute Martial Arts for longer than any other student there and we have had nothing but a great experience! Soccer moms? I am about as far as a soccer MOM as you can get, brain washed like 1984? Give me a break, if the school wasnt the TOP school in the Panhandle, trust me I wouldnt make the 45 minute to 1 hour drive 5 days a week. What Resolute Martial Arts does is PRODUCE CHAMPIONS!!! I dont know of any McDojo that has 5 National Championships and 5 South East Regional Championships after starting a Competition Team two years ago. The Hamms are awesome instructors and have pushed my son Connor Roberts to the top of his game. They have been nothing but supportive to each student that has and is trying to go farther in their Martial Arts Path. Wanna google a real review? About 7 years ago, my 5 yo son was invited to a birthday party at Resolute Martial Arts. During the party, the instructor asked my husband if our son had any formal training to which he replied no. We were invited to attend a class and at that very point, our lives changed forever. We had never even thought about karate but my son loved it. Master Hamm provided a safe and fun learning environment AND my son was learning self defense. For more than half his life, he has been taught how to dissolve and handle difficult physical situations. He has earned his first degree black belt and is only a year away from testing for his second degree. The instructors are role model examples in the community teaching their students about integrity, discipline and respect; everything we, as parents, also try to instill in our children. The other students are extremely supportive of each other and it is honestly a second home for our son to become the adult I want him to be. He is entering 7th grade in a couple months and I was extremely worried about the pressures of becoming a teenager and starting middle school last year. Thanks to Resolute Martial Arts, he carries himself in a confident manner and has the tools necessary to handle any bully that might present themselves to him. Master Hamm has taught him what is considered fair defense in the school systems, what to do, who to tell and when; consequently, we not only expect him to protect himself with reasonable force but to help others if needed. His training also extends beyond the karate school because the disciplinary atmosphere he has received at RMA is also shaping his future with his desire to attend The United States Military Academy in Westpoint. I know my child would not be as successful in life so far without training at Resolute Martial Arts.(Yes, my son is involved in the Hyper program, which is only one facet at this martial arts school. Hyper is a fun and new school way of competitive karate but it is not the core curriculum.)
