We popped in for my niece to get her nose pierced and the guy was just awesome! Very friendly, yet professional, and made her feel comfortable and at ease (as much as can be expected!). The shop is clean, organized and overall one of the nicest looking that Ive been in.
We had a large group walk in all wanting small tattoos. They fit us all in that night and we’re extremely welcoming and helpful! Xuxu tattooed me and she was absolutely amazing! So professional and really just wanted to be sure I liked my tattoo. I would 1000% go back if I happen to be in Destin! The staff was just so great. Truly one of the most welcoming and open tattoo shops I have been in. Couldn’t recommend them more!!
My husband and I LOVED our experience at Alan’s Cool Ink! We’ve both been wanting tattoos for awhile and it was a “spur of the moment” decision. We called ahead for a consultation, spoke with Andrew, made an appointment, and was in and out fairly quick for the consultation as well as the appointment the following day! Andrew did great work on our tattoos and was so easy to hangout with and talk to.Great artists and a great/clean environment.
Went here to get my septum done, everything seemed fine until we filled our paperwork and met our piercer. I went with myself and a friend. We had this older guy do our piercing and we were worried about the quality of the piercing job we would receive so we asked the front desk lady about who was piercing us and she said he had 20 years of experience so it would be fine. Once we go back there our piercer was way too quick about everything, he didn’t brief us or give us any pointers he just put us in a chair and said don’t move and the jewelry he gave us was much to big and he didn’t give us an option to pick it out. Once my friend was pierced I sat down for my piercing, again moving much to fast he goes right through my nose and I feel this absolutely terrible pain. The way septum piercings have been described to me by people with experience, they are supposed to evoke little to no pain similar to when you get your ear lobe pierced. This lack of pain is experienced when a proper septum is done because it goes through a soft piece of flesh, instead my piercer went through my cartilage... So not only did my piercing hurt much more than it should have. But it’s much too high and as a result is very uneven. I’m hoping that the uneven nature of the piercing is exaggerated by the oversized jewelry and once I can change it out it won’t be as noticeable. But if not I’m just gonna have to take it out and have wasted my time and money, as well as having gone through all that pain for nothing

Structure is a pro piercer. He made me feel very comfortable and he is very knowledgeable about his job. He did my piercing in 5 minutes and gave very detail instruction on how to care for it. Katie and Lisa are very helpful as well. Will recommend to anyone that is in need of any kind of piercings.

Lady was rude.. she didn’t want to help me at all I had trouble trying to get in my nose ring and she kept saying she don’t know what I want her to do and stuff and she she spoke German knowing I only speak English but her brother is mvp he helped me!!! And I think you don’t go to the lady ask for her brother

Stella was awesome!!! Very nice and explained everything to me very well! I was nervous about getting my ears pierced and after she talked me through/how her shop is going about doing everything now, I felt more comfortable about going to get my ears pierced. She was quick and effortless with this, making it seem like a piece of cake! She asked me if I was okay with where she was piercing my ears and let me look at them before she did it! Both store owners are very nice and respectful and I will be continuing to go here for anything! Awesome place; also the only place in destin that would help me out !

My husband and I decided to get tats together while we were down on vacation. Not matching ones! haha! Andrew was very professional, worked out the designs we had in our heads, quick and almost painless, I chose my foot as my placement. OUCH!We made our appointment, we were there on time and he went right to work showing us what he came up with moved a thing or two around to make sure we were satisfied and got us done in no time. My daughter(14) just got her nose pierced by Stella. She did FANTASTIC!! The placement is perfect, very professional and best of all- my daughter said it DIDNT HURT!!! My daughter has also gotten her cartilage pierced by Stella and that was just as good of an experience. We will definitely go back for any future piercings!!

My wife and I went in for matching tattoos on our ring fingers and he told us at first it was $100 minimum which was no big deal then he told us he wouldn’t do the inside of our fingers and told us to go down the street, so we did, we went to atomic frog and they treated us well and did exactly why we wanted.

Stella did my piercings today. I was incredibly nervous and having a lot of anxiety and she talked me through everything and took it as slow as I needed. She was so professional and knowledgeable. Stopped in today to check nose piercing off my bucket list. There was a crowd, but Christina got to us quickly with the paperwork while the other group was still deciding. We waited just a few minutes while she finished up. She took us back, asked an few questions, and provided very thorough instructions to get started. She was detailed and very professional. I did as she instructed and didn’t even feel a pinch. Just a little pressure. My eyes didn’t even water. Super fast and efficient. I received more instructions before leaving too. I’m glad we came, she was very nice and there was another super nice lady that also checked on us as we waited. I’m elated with my new piercing and if I lived here, I’d probably come back for more.Pricing was double compared to Houston, but this is a tourist area and the work was great. I’m not complaining. I’m happy with it all.Thank you Christina!!

Highly recommended!!!!! I came here to get new earrings and they were very helpful as well as changed one of my piercings. I came back to get my other ones changed, and they were so nice and helpful. The piercer explained that my earrings had a lump from my fresh piercings and told me what to do to get rid of them. She also gave me some of their products to help them! Very friendly and quality place, great price too!!

Monika was amazing helping us from start to finish. My best friend and our daughters all got tattoos at the same time. Monika and Alan are the owners. Their son Andrew is a fabulous artist, as is Freddie, who did my tattoo. I’m 61, and the biggest chicken on the planet. This was my first tattoo. Freddie was so wonderful and walked me through it. I explained what I wanted to him. Not only did he come up with the perfect interpretation of my specifications, he played my favorite musician for me while he did his beautiful art, which put me at ease. My daughter’s tattoo was much more intricate and time consuming. She’s had 5 others. Andrew knew exactly what she needed to calm her nerves, as it was in a very sensitive spot. He was truly professional about it all and got her through it. She’s totally in love with it!! I highly recommend Alan’s Cool Ink if you’re considering getting your 1st or 1,000th tattoo!!! These folks are FABULOUS!!!

I went to Alan’s Cool Ink to get a VCH piercing. When my husband and I walked we were greeted by Christina. Their shop is super clean and very friendly. I told her what I wanted but I was nervous and she knew it. She went over everything on what to expect and calmed me down so that I was more comfortable. I will not go to anyone else if I ever want another piercing. She is AMAZING!!!
Stella did a wonderful job on our piercings. There were three of us and we were in and out so quick. She was super personable and nice. We will be back!

Long over due review! While I was on vacation (five weeks ago!), I decided to get my nose re-pierced and I came to the right place! Stella did an awesome job!! She answered all my questions, talked me through it, was so kind and patient, and hyped me up when I got it done! It has healed up quite nicely and I’m very happy with how it looks!!
Andrew was AHMAZING!!! Thank you from the Anarchist girl and my cousin that got the hearts of her childrens birth month colors. We had a great time and youre a great artist, very meticulous and just good at what you do!
The service was absolutely terrible, they were rude, and very short when they were speaking to you, kinda like we were an inconvenience. One of the henna tattoos got messed up within about 3 minutes, they would not wipe it off and charged extra to fix it. Then another person wanted their henna tattoo on their leg and they wouldnt do it because in the sketch artist opinion it would look better in a different spot. The area is chained off and your told not to move the specific body part you got the design on but, it was too much of an inconvenience for them to move the chain for us upon exit. Kinda hard to do all of the above when you have your hands full and not trying to mess up your henna while moving the chain. Then 3 minutes later the henna gets messed up, didnt go get it fixed. Thats how much we didnt like it. A big waste of time and money. I will never revisit this place! Absolutely terrible!
XuXu was awesome. She customized my tattoo from a pic off my phone and did an awesome job. Better than the original. I’m super happy with it and I plan to go back for more!!
