I just had a new audio receiver and back up camera put in my 2007 Honda. The installation was done perfectly and in one afternoon - it looks like it rolled off the line with these features. I’m especially impressed by the line they ran to the backup camera, it goes the length of the car and is perfectly hidden! Thanks to my technician, Roger for doing a great job and being super pleasant to work with!Update 12/17/20:I had this same location swap out all of my stock speakers with premium quality, as well as install a 12” sub and two amps to power it all. This was a major install and this whole crew did an absolutely incredible job. The auto installation crew at Destin Geek Squad are absolute pros and I’ll recommend them to anyone and everyone.

If I could rate this place any lower than 1 star I would. I brought my iPhone 12 Pro Max in because it had an issue with the display. The display needed replaced and it was covered under apples warranty. They told me it would be 1-2 hours till it was fixed so I waited there and just looked around while I waited. I went back up to the desk a while later to check on the status and they said we had to reset your whole phone. I said okay? Then they said okay good because we already did it. No one asked me before resetting my entire phone so I almost lost 10 years of photos and videos on my phone because I was completely locked out of my iCloud account. I contacted apple and there was nothing they could do. After that they told me that they would have to keep my phone for a few days and then offered me a FLIP PHONE and to BUY the service for it!!!! That’s because they couldn’t give me any other loaner. The manager realized “the extent” of the situation and finally agreed to send me home with an iPhone as a loaner at no charge. When I arrived home I was able to get access to my account because I luckily had a screenshot of my recovery key on my Apple TV. This place really does suck if you don’t want to lose all of your stuff DO NOT GO HERE I don’t recommend it to ANYONE!

Went in with a MacBook Air that wouldn’t turn on. They opened up the bottom and found two drops of water and claimed it was irrecoverable. They also said that the gold and copper bits were corrosion. They were going to charge us $100 just to backup our data and give us back a broken computer. We said heck no.Instead we went to CTS computer repair about 10 minutes down the road. Brian opened it up and actually did a diagnostic and saw that none of the water indication sensors had been tripped. He checked the battery and saw it was bad and installed a new one for us for $90.So all in all, for less than the price of a backed up drive, the computer is as good as new no thanks to Geek Squad.

Sent my laptop in 2 months ago, last known status was they received the parts to fix laptop One Month ago. Cant get ahold of anyone unless I physically go up there, nor a new update since.

Very rude all time food always wrong and there was a piece of paper in my taco when I called to ask about the manager ms betsys hung up in my face several times when I asked for a another manager or number to call to complain told me if I wanna complain to figure it out I will never go back

My appt was at 11:40, I didnt even talk to a tech until 12. Its $150 just to do a diagnostic!!? And it takes 3 DAYS! NO THANK YOU! There are so many other options for Computer support. Yall... dont waste your time.

I pay a yearly subscription to have potential problems fixed on computers used for my DJ/Karaoke business. My sound audio out jack broke on one of my laptops, I took it by and was told by Geek Squad that it would be better to replace my $1,100.00 then to send it off and get it fixed (although I thought that is what i was paying a subscription for) never the less, I searched around and found someone local that fixed it for less than $100. I think I just start saving my subscription money for when I need things fixed not just reloading drivers.

Horrible Apple certified repair center! The Geek squad manager Tyler has ZERO people/customer skills. He feels he needs to talk down to customers and like what he said to me sarcastically to “use words I can understand.” He is unable to answer basic questions regarding Apple repair scheduling times. His response “this is my business and this is how I choose to run it.” When asked for an explanation of my service Tyler said “that information is secure with Apple.” Then Tyler said sarcastically “we opened your phone, took out the battery, and put a new one in.” Yet he had to run an 45min diagnostic test that he gave me zero info about...software, errors, nothing! Plus this bestbuy geek squad just put in a new battery a few days ago...so I’m still under a 90day Best Buy- Apple repair warranty. It doesn’t make sense to advertise an Apple service to customers, but have no one “certified” to work on a Apple iPhone until after an hour the store opens. BestBuy failed in providing a simple service and having the ability to interact in a simple conversation with a customer without being demeaning and disrespectful. Avoid this Apple “certified” repair center if your time is worth anything and you except to be treated with basic human decency.

Why did you delete all the horrible reviews, I went to edit mine 1 star review today and it was gone as were about 250 other bad reviews. This place is a SCAM do business elsewhere on the gulf coast. They had a 2.3 star rating out of over 200 reviews. That should say a LOT about how crooked this best buy is, and how bad their services are.When I tried to purchase a TV back in Feb 2018 they told me if I did not use the geek squad install service it would void my TVs warranty, which is 100% NOT TRUE. I reviewed them and went to Sams to buy my TV.Yesterday when I went in the sale clerk was very rude and basically told me if I did no purchase the extended warranty on washer that they would not take a return even if it was delivered damaged. Again, I left and purchased elsewhere.

Horrible staff. They tried to force us to pay for the repair of a charger when we paid for the warranty. They talked crap about what a bad manager they had that wouldnt allow them breaks, lunch or dinner but the manager got to go to dinner for an hour. Right in front of my young child upsetting everyone. The staff was mainly rude as can be. The young man started helping me. He said it needed a charger. The rude woman took over she didnt even know where she was going had us follow her all over the store to try to force us to pay for charger for warrantied laptop. She was beyond rude and insulting. If you want and upset child just have an encounter with the people we did and your child can cry in the car just like mine did. Now they harass us by emailing us in the middle of the night after being asked to never contact us again. They wont return the money as agreed I only got some of it back from them and best buy. I will never step foot in that store again. I will got to a different store from now on. THIS STORE COMPLETELY UPSET A CHILD AND DIDNT EVEN APOLOGIZE TO THE CHILD IN THE SLIGHTEST! HOW CAN YOU SAY AND DO SUCH THINGS IN FRONT OF A YOUNG CHILD FOR SHAME ON YOUR COMPANY AND STOP CONTACTING US. WE WANT NOTHING TO DO WITH YOUR COMPANY AFTER YOU MADE OUR CHILD CRY ON THE WAY HOME AFTER REFUSING TO HELP HER FIX HER COMPUTER EVEN KNOW YOU WERE PAID TO. THANKS TO THE MANUFACTURER HER COMPUTER WAS REPAIRED SOME TIME LATER! My appointment was at 12 they didnt start working on my car until 4 and didnt finish a 30 min job until 6;45 and it doesnt work. costumer service was very rude. I hate that I spent the money for a full year of installation, many regrets .

I bought the geek squad protection plan on my laptop after i moved it suffered water damage and the screen started to disconnect preventing from closing and opening the laptop well i took up there and they had it fixed with no issues and no extra money out my pocket .
