This is a local hardware and building supply store that has a very personal feel rather that a big corporate store. The staff is friendly and well informed. I cant drive by without stopping in to get some item from my to-do list.

Bob and his team provide excellent small town customer service compared to the big hardware chains. Staff has varying experience and knowledge and are always willing to help. No need to waste the time and gas to drive to Home Depot or Lowes. Builders Supplys prices are very comparable to the big box stores. Surprisingly well stocked with the convenience of a neighborhood store!

A Charming yet fully equipped hardware store with a Twist, they have their arms around SERVICE. Customer service here is top of mine and you notice it as you walk in. Very well-stocked hardware store with all the interesting stuff you didnt know you ever needed. It feels great to support our local small businesses like this, and even that much better knowing that they are well deserving in that they provide the best service

Bob, the store manager, Justin, his assistant and their entire staff, provide excellent customer service, making this store a great place to shop. If an item is not in stock, theyll order it and usually within 3 days it arrives, comparably priced to Lowes or HD. 👍

Learned my lesson here today. And funny how Google deleted my prior negative review. I hear that cost a business around 500 bucks to have a bad review removed. But any how. So I needed a couple of 2x6x8s now mind you this is going for a structure children play on... I check out and they have an attendant pull and load the lumber. Not only is it twice the price at just shy of 4 bucks a 2x4 stud. But I get home to find the wood is junk. All bad cuts, splintered, un treated and straight jacknifed and even had a starter cut about an inch in from one end about a 3rd the width of the board. Knot holes and beveled edges that even after a intense sanding job still are renderd unusable.And this is after some idiot kid that apparently knows nothing of tools tried to sell me a out dated lower end model saw for a higher price than the newest version and upgraded model that is sold at home depot.Save yourselves the waste of time and money and steer clear of here.

Great hardware store reminds me of the 70s

Its my local hardware store when going down the valley is just too time consuming. Everyone is friendly and knowledgeable. Inventory is mediocre. Nothing like the big two. Also, its a bit more pricey but, in a pinch its perfect. Kind of like when you know youll save a ton of money if you do your big shopping at Costco...so you make the trip...but, if you just need some milk or eggs....Vons will do...sane thing but the hardware industry.

Love builders supply

Called in, looking for pellet stove pellets. Esmeralda went above and beyond to help by phone. When it was determined their store only carries pellets for BBQs, she tried to help get regular stove pellets. When this couldnt happen, the store directed me to the Yucca Valley store, where they have what Im looking for. Over the years Ive had many good experiences at this store and its even better, now that they are expanding their size and products.

Not only was I greeted when I walked in the door but I was also asked if I needed help. Everything that I asked for the gentleman showed me didnt point and said it was on aisle number 6 for example took me over there. Ive also decided from now on Im going to try and support the mom and pop shops.

Terrible store!!! Hard to get service, when you do get service they have an attitude. Not all the staff is bad. Its the staff thats been there for a while, if they dont like their job they need to quit.

I dont recommend this place if you need supplies for a big project. Variety is hit or miss and prices can be a bit high. If youre just looking for general supplies or stuff for quick fixes, this is a very reliable source. Customer service has always been great and Ive had no other problems.

Bigger then the old hardware store that was at that location, prices are higher then home depot or lowes but will do in a pinch, caution on there plumbing push on parts for copper tube, mine leaked had to go to home depot.

Have been buying building materials from this location for over 9 years. I recently purchased some wiring supplies to fix wiring in my home. Asked if I didnt use it if I could return items, reply was yes. Spent over $250, have made two trips to return unused items. They claimed I hadnt paid for some items as they didnt appear on receipt. Said I spent $350, have returned some items already, and am returning rest today. Reply was no refund on over $70 in unused supplies. I will never return to this store, if they refuse to honor own return policy, have higher prices than Lowes for same items, why would I buy anything further from them? Loocal business my Family tries to suusupp, but will no longer purchase anything from them.

Have been using this Builders Supply for the past couple years and they never disappoint. Employees are always helpful and courteous. If they dont have it in stock they can order it.
