Im leaving a 5 star review because Rose at Budget took wonderful care of me and got me a cheap quote on insurance Iam very pleased with the kind patience and great service that this company has provided for me I recommend this company for a lifetime!

Was referred to this company by my sister. Been on hold for 21 minutes. I understand things happen but this is excessive. Im just calling for an insurance quote.**UPDATEIts 6:05PM and this company is now closed and guess what? I am still on hold. Ive been on the line for 41 minutes and 17 seconds now. Smh! I will be filing a complaint tomorrow. How unprofessional! about to finally hang up.**RESPONSE TO CHRISMy call was taken by a lady and she took down the info needed for the quote. Then she placed me on hold for 41 minutes and never returned to the line. I called back today and got the insurance taken care of. But still no apology no explanation given for what happened yesterday. The customer service I recieved today was a 9 out of 10. I was treated well .. only complaint would be the zero compassion shown for what happened yesterday. Thank you for responding!

If you value your time dont bother. Ive been put on hold multiple times at around 20 minutes each. Its just not worth the frustration.

Extremely nice people at their office, but the progressive collision center was crap. Not to be trusted. To clarify I like Budget Ins. extremely well, my issue was with the place that estimated my vehicle.

(Short summary at end of review)Agent name: Austin.Pros: Got me an initial policy in a reasonable amount of time.Cons: Made a call today; 20+ minute wait mid afternoon on a weekday to talk to a representative.Ive only needed to make changes to my policy twice since its inception. The first time the agent told me what i wanted to do was impossible. I wasnt convinced, so I called directly to the insurance company, they said they could perform the action I requested, and did it for me.The second time, I requested my renters policy be merged to my auto policy in order to get a discount. The agent said we only handle auto policies, let me transfer you to your company. He then transferred me to underwriting (where I waited on hold for 30+ minutes), where I was informed I should have been sent to customer service (less than 5 minute wait there, thank goodness). Once there, the insurance company representative took care of everything in seconds.My issue here is the agent, in both scenarios, should have researched to see if what I wanted was possible. If it is possible, then he should have taken care of it himself. Instead, I was asked twice to do my own research and work.Summary: An agencys job is to leverage knowledge, experience, and skill in understanding insurance in order to represent you in the insurance world better than you could yourself, much like a lawyer does in court.By this definition, this is not an agency, evidenced by the above. You would do yourself good to look elsewhere.Edit: Received a call from Chris, a manager. He very professionally apologized for the service I received, and explained some of the nuance surrounding the issues I had. Perhaps the issues I had were with my only with my particular agent, but, ultimately, I have moved to a different agency. Perhaps in the future this business will improve.
