This is the first year that I have used this company. Absolutely no complaints to date. I will be renewing my contract with them for next year.

I had Northpoint evaluate my lawn’s bare spots in 2020. Northpoint(Bill M.) indicated that the lawn was OK(no disease or insects) and that aerating the lawn followed by overseeding the bare spot with their compost mixture should eliminate the bare spots. Northpoint came by in Sept /2020. (They actually had to come back again because they missed doing about a third of the bare spots initially discussed). My task was to water twice a day which I did. The bare spots partially filled in last Fall where they overseeded. Looking at the lawn this Spring/Now I see that maybe half of the bare areas they overseeded/aerated have new grass growing...so I’m not too thrilled with the result. I asked Northpoint(Bill M.) to come and take a look at the lawn to re-evaluate on 5/11/21. Bill indicated he’d be over(this is on 5/14/21). I e-mailed him 5 additional times since then---NO response. I called the Northpoint office on 6/7/21 and talked with a VP there who asked Bill to contact me...again...not NO response as of 6/23/21. Based on the POOR response to my simple request I will not recommend Northpoint w/o bringing up this “No Response” issue. NOTE: They did do a nice job(coordinated by Jared B.) for me back in 2019 when I needed some yardwork done after a driveway replacement in 2018.9-20-21 UPDATE.After finally talking with Bill in late June and him coming back to reevaluate the lawn Bill determined that they should have slice-seeded the questionable areas. Northpoint agreed to return in the fall and slice seed the areas. They came back in late August and the bare spots have come in nicely. I am very happy with the result and how Northpoint took care of my concerns. Although we had an initial communication issue I am very happy with the service performed and would go back to them and recommend them for future lawn work.

I had to find a new company to fertilize my lawn and made the switch to North Point , Bill and his crew have made significant improvements in just a couple years. I just recently had them repair and install some new irrigation heads, they did a great job! I would recommend these guys , very professional and quality work !

They provided me lawn care for years... i was out of state many of the months they mowed. in 2016, i realized my lawn was totally infected by fungus. this is caused by mowing lawns when theyre wet. at-home home owners wont allow mowing when its wet, but absentee owners dont know. so North Point mowed my lawn, over & over, while it was wet. they destroyed the grass. it took me years to try to cure my lawn of the fungus, which is still a battle to this day. STAY AWAY...

I have used North Point Outdoors numerous times and they never cease to amaze me. The team at North Point has always been polite and prompt with getting back to me with any questions I have. I put an inquiry in this past Sunday for a new deck that my wife and I want to have built. Monday morning I received a call from a staff member first thing and they sent a representative out that same afternoon!George, who I believe is heading up the construction side of the business, was very informative and gave me numerous options of material to use, design layout and things to think about in the future if we were to do an addition to our house. It was a great consultation and all of my questions were answered.Normally, when a company says they will get a design out to you, you anticipate a few day wait period. I didnt have to wait a few days or even a day! I had a detailed rendering of what my new porch would look like within 45 minutes of George leaving. Talk about customer service!North Point Outdoors is the best company that I have worked with! Now that this company is providing construction, I wont need to worry about shopping around, I can just go right to them.Thank you to all of the members of North Point for their great work! I cant wait to sit out on my new deck!

North Point Outdoors has been taking care of our irrigation and I always find them polite, efficient and most importantly they listen to what you tell them. I really appreciate they call prior to arriving to make sure I am home.

They also plow and shovel our driveway and walks in the winter. Any time we need extra work such as mulching, weeding, or hedge trimming they quote us a fair and transparent price. I hired North Point for my irrigation system install, and seasonal lawn fertilization and Im happy with the results on both fronts. Friendliness, quality of work, and reliability are the factors I find to be most important when judging what service companies to hire, and North Point always hits the mark on all three. There is always someone to pickup the phone when you have an issue, they work hard to maintain competitive pricing, they dont over extend their resources, and they have a great email based communication system to keep you in the loop.

I had multiple companies come out to give me a quote for a backyard project that included a patio, tree removal, and seed. Andrew was the most professional person that we dealt with. They are prompt, friendly, and their work is worth the premium. Youll find cheaper services out there, but you always get what you pay for. Since the install I have had them do my fall cleanup as well. Soon Ill have them do an irrigation installation. Highly recommended.

In 2012 I looked for a company to help me with the design and installation of a sprinkler system for my new home. After meeting the individuals of three companies, I felt very confident and comfortable with the North Point Outdoor team and my first impressions have proven to be true.After a successful installation of the sprinkler system I returned to the team to find a solution for a grass issue. North point team did hydroseeding on my property. The crew was very tidy and thorough with the entire job. This was my first hydroseeding and I didnt believe it would come up as well as it did and with so few weeds especially in August. Great job guys look forward to business with you in the future.

Andrew Pelkey, of North Point Outdoors, has done work for us on two of our properties. Specifically he has done full service landscape maintenance and snow clearing for our business as well as hardscaping, landscape design and installation at our vacation home.We have used NPO exclusively since 2007. Andrew is extremely professional and takes pride in his work. He is consistent and responsive to concerns and needs of his customers. I have found his quotes to be accurate and competitive, which is not always the case.An all round great company to work with!

On December 28th of 2017 my car was hit by a plow while plowing our parking lot. Deeming it undrivable. I am a single mother of 2 so you can only imagine how this put an impact on our life.I filed a police report, it was deemed per their GPS that indeed at least 2 of their vehicles did a pass thru as it was icy that evening/early a.m.I also had a neighbor file a report with police stating she was woken from dead sleep from the crash( of the bumper being torn of my car) and she witnessed the “pickup truck” leaving the premises .( there is only one in/out entrance). When northpoint was contacted they stated that their vehicles bumpers were painted with yellow/orange on bumpers/corners so should something happen paint Trf would be evident, police and my insurance agent were both told this. I have taken aprox a dozen pictures of their vehicles flying thru, none of which had this paint. But in pictures of my car the paint Trf of a black/dark blues are on my car. (Their pickups are black/dark blue)As of February 20, 2018, Northpoint will not even acknowledge my hardships, my undrivable car, my plea’s for help. My car isn’t worth a lot financially but to me and my 2 kids it was worth ALOT ,it was a sound family car that was well maintained.I don’t usually do this but I am extremely upset/disappointed...My opinion of NorthPoint Is they are a completely disappointing as a company. They don’t care if they damage your property and if they do , don’t expect them to own up to it.I will never recommend them to anyone! Shame on you for ignoring the damage and causing me such hardship.

We first hired North Point in the summer of 2015, this review is based upon working with Dave (owner) and his crew for a little over one year. We have used North Point exclusively for several of their services: landscaping (including hardscaping), irrigation, snow removal, general yard cleanup, bark blowing, compost top-dressing, etc.Summer 2015: We hired north point to install an irrigation system, repair our lawn (from pool construction), and design a patio area around a new pool.Fall 2015: Fall yard cleanupWinter 2015/16: Snow removal services for a 600 foot gravel drivewaySpring/summer 2016: Backyard patio install, irrigation system install, boulder wall construction, grade, loam, hydroseed, install smart irrigation controller (Rachio), blow bark mulch, core aerate, compost top-dressing, and last but not least over-seeding.As you can see, weve invested a lot with North Point. Its for a reason. Dave and his crew are very professional, honest, and they take pride in their work. You can usually expect an answer to an email within a couple days, even during the really busy summer months. In addition to doing the big things well, including honest and fair pricing, his crew does a lot of the little things too. As an example, his crew came to apply compost top dressing to a part of our yard that was not doing well. Our driveway had some debris on it before they got here... and before his crew left they took a couple minutes to use leaf blowers to clean up the driveway. That wasnt part of what they were there to do, but they did it anyway. It was a nice touch to come home and see that they hadnt left any mess behind.In addition to being communicative over email, this company is technologically competent. Gone are the days of paper quotes and confusing invoicing that Ive experienced with other landscapers. With North Point, you get your quotes electronically over email, which you can accept or reject, then you have the ability to pay online on their website. In addition, the website allows you to view your invoicing and payment history, which is very helpful. If youre comfortable with doing things online (like bill pay), north point will be very easy for you.Overall, we are very glad to have hooked up with North Point Outdoors. I would gladly recommend them to friends who have landscaping needs.
