Craig is very knowledgeable, personable, and very professional. My son needed a piece soldered on his trumpet and it needed a cleaning. He takes the time to explain what is being done. I took it to him on a Saturday afternoon and I had it back Monday afternoon. His prices are very reasonable as well. It shows he loves what he does!

My French Horn was in desperate need of some TLC. Another shop told me it would take them three weeks to a month to get to my instrument. Not OLearys. He took my baby and had her polished and working within 48 hours. He did a rush job for me on a Sunday so that she would be ready for my audition on that Wednesday. Ill never take my instrument any where else. Not only did he take care of my baby, but he also set my fears at ease and heard me out on everything. Ill only trust here for all my instrumental needs.

I would recommend OLearys to anyone. They took great care of my daughters needs and replaced a part on my daughters trumpet free of charge. I took the whole trumpet in later for cleaning and to fix some broken welds (3) and to remove a few dents. Three days later it was all done for less than $80. The dents were pretty bad and it still not perfect, but they did a great job making it look 100% better.

Im sure the owner is knowledgeable and capable of repairing your average student instrument. I made the mistake of bringing my professional model horn last year for a cleaning. It was not restrung properly, it appeared as though someone tried to polish out finger prints and ended up adding fine scratches to the finish, there was a small scratch on the bell and a pea sized dent on the lead tubing-all of which was not there when I dropped my horn off for cleaning (it was practically new and still pristine). Despite a phone call and multiple emails I did not receive a response from the owner. I would not say not to go there, I think they would do fine for general things, but my personal experience was not positive.
