I was on vacation for 12 days and it was time to take care of some grooming needs. My hotel was a short walk to Waxxpot so after doing some research of the nearby business I decided to try Waxxpot. I was pleasantly surprised by the professionalism and cleanliness of this business. My esthetician was Tamesia. The services that I used was waxing my brows, upper lip and portions of my neck. My being a senior, I discussed how crooked by eyebrows are after teenage years of plucking, etc. I told her I was filling in the bare spaces with pencil, etc. and she handed me the mirror and gave me a step-by-step of my arches, tail ends and the spaces in the begging of the brow and where the brows should really come out to. She was so sweet and helpful. This business offers so much more than waxing, I urge you to look at their other services and products as well. The waiting room was clean, bright and cheery and the restroom was clean. With Covid continuing, I might add, they were all wearing masks. I am highly recommending this business to you that you can trust. I wish there was a Waxxpot where I live in Florida.

Got my first wax here last week and I’m in love! I was very nervous and a little scared for my first Brazilian wax but Adrienne was amazing and patient with me. I have already recommended this place to friends and booked my next appointment. Very happy with my service!

Over the last 4-5 years I have been to a variety of waxing studios. I like to try new facilities to see how the staff is, what type of wax they use, how clean the business is, and how satisfied I am with the service as a whole. About a week ago was the first time I’ve used Wax pot and I was very impressed with the facility, the staff, and the service. All of the staff including the estheticians were friendly and helpful during my appointment. The facility was very clean and modern looking. The service was exceptional and quick. I liked that they make there own wax and that it’s not a hard wax. After my appointment, I noticed that my skin did not break out and was not near as irritated as it had been from using other waxing studios in the past. I strongly recommend trying Wax pot because it’ll be my go to place for years to come!

Waxxpot on Colorado Blvd- you have to see Lauren!! She is phenomenal! This was my very first time and she not only prepared me with what to expect and feel but she was so beyond gentle. Lauren is a sweetheart and I will continue to go to her.

Poor wax quality. Staff is poorly trained. Only uses strip wax for every area of the body including intimate areas which is HORRIBLE FOR YOUR SKIN. Causing skin to lift and bruise.

Ive tried a lot of different waxing studios, and I just moved to Denver so was looking for a new place. Waxxpot Glendale was close to work so I tried it for underarms and bikini, and had a pretty okay experience. Its really clean and the esthetician was super nice and quick. I wasnt a fan of the strips instead of a hard wax situation and I noticed a lack of aftercare in comparison to other places Ive tried but didnt think much of it. The following week Im starting to think not all of the wax was removed, because theres a few really painful pimples in the areas that were waxed :( The price wasnt too bad but it was not cheap, very similar to Waxing the City. I liked the studio but wont return, at least until the after care is increased to the level of their competitors.

So far, so good! The staff is professional and quiet in nature. I dont feel like a cow being prodded along an assembly line.

They were great! It was my first time getting a Brazilian wax and Tamry was amazing. She was constantly asking if I was okay which was nice and the place was all about consent.

I came in for a brow wax and tint and I can say with certainty that sadly I won’t be back. They were running 20 minutes late past my appointment time and I had to hound the girl at the desk to check in on my appointment. When the Lauren finally took me back to the room, her mask was under her nose so she was was breathing on my face the whole time. She didn’t wear gloves and had her hands all over my face. To top all of that, the wax job was terrible - I can hardly notice a difference in my tint and she waxed on top of my eyelid which hurt so bad and missed multiple spots. I wanted to like this place, but I’ll stick to any other place in be ever been. I gave two stars because both girls were nice enough, but overall really poor experience.

I recently moved to an apartment building that is right by this great location and stopped in on a whim. Cameron and his staff xould not have been more welcoming and friendly at the front desk, without being pushy. I was informed about a fantastic special for first time clients. Upon taking advantage of this special (bikini wax and a lash tint) suffice it to say, I need to look no further than this super clean, bright, cheery spa. It was painless and efficient. Highly recommend!

Waxxpot is great. It is the only place I have gotten waxed and I intend to keep coming. During covid they are abiding by state mask mandates.They are always friendly, they seem very inclusive and I recommend coming here!

I responder to a fb add saying Waxxpot needed models I am so freaking happy I responded. Kate was very kind and understanding and worked with my needs with my gender dysphoria. I have been telling all my friends to go see Kate that she is comfortable with working in the gender dysphoria community. The girl that did my brows rocked them out. I went out the next night feeling very confident and feminine and sexy. I will definitely going back.

I recently just stoped by the studio and booked a lash lift and tint. Mariah was very professional and knowledgeable. She walked me through every step she was doing and made me feel very comfortable. Would highly recommend this place and to book with Mariah

I am utterly thrilled to say that I meet Kate yesterday. She was very professional and kind. I have a condition where my skin develops acne after the wax and she took time to understand and to get a feel for my skin before diving straight in. I absolutely adore her. And to top the cake off with a cherry, she even took the time to contact me today to make sure things were going steady. I will definitely be going back to see her again soon. Thank you Kate for helping ease me back into my comfort zone and allowing me to feel beautiful again.

Terrible experience. I was in for my first Wax and the girl did NOT listen to me. I asked to leave some hair and I left completely hairless. And she could care less to make the experience a bit more comfortable for me. The girl that did my waxing had the most dry, monochrome, uninterested personality ever. The waxing room felt like I was walking into an asylum in a basement. I didn’t feel welcomed coming in, more like I was a bother to get a service done, and the customer service was extremely poor. I 100% do not recommend this place.

Sensitive skin beware—I went into Waxxpot for several hair removal services. It was my first waxing experience outside of eyebrows and I spent about $140 to get waxed before a vacation. I will say they they get two stars for the clean and trendy location and the sweet and friendly esthetician.The wax itself was incredibly painful and would have been worth it if the result were smooth, hairless skin. Instead, their “signature wax blend” left me with stubble and a painful rash and I was unable to wear a bathing suit during my vacation. I even paid $10 for their Soothe product with no relief. I can not recommend this wax to anyone with even mildly sensitive skin.I reached out to the company and requested a refund as I did not get any benefit for the $140 I spent and was actually worse off. They responded with an apology and $15 off my next service. I would absolutely not put that wax on my skin again and am disappointed at their dismissal of my request for a refund.

Fantastic salon! The manager Cameron is always there to greet you and Kate, my esthetician is great. The salon is always clean and welcoming. The only place to get my eyebrows done!

I did not have a good experience. Went in for a lash lift and tint and pretty much only left with a lash tint. Ive gotten lash lifts before and have had much better results and experiences. The girl working seemed very rushed.

The wax they use makes me itch my skin during the procedure and some minutes after... They dont have the best technique for waxing.

I had the most painless and fantastic experience with Kate. She’s professional and accommodating. I’m so impressed and would recommend to anyone — especially those who are newer to waxing.

I’ve called multiple times asking for the owner and the reception ladies give me the run arround. The owner responded to this comment, but still has yet to actually talk to me!! They let all the amazing ladies go and keep the horrible ones who don’t listen even though I literally said five times DONT MAKE MY EYEBROWS TOO THIN. Never go to kate unless you want miss matched crack head eyebrows

I saw an Ad on my Instagram and decided to check it out, but regret it. They had an offer for new clients: free wax valued at $25. I went in to get a Brazilian...but it was not a good experience. She forgot some hair and when I mentioned it she went back to fix her mistake (with no animosity) BUT left wax on me. I didn’t realize until I had put my pants back on and was super uncomfortable. When I notified her she just gave me some oil to take the wax off (which hurt so bad since they don’t use hard wax, but instead soft wax and strips). I wouldn’t have cared so much, but we’re all human and make mistakes but she just kept laughing about the situation and never thought to her self to just put a strip of cloth on the area and remove the wax. When I called to next morning to let them now and that I was upset about their services (since I kept receiving emails requesting me to rank their performance) they just said “ohhhh....sorry?”.

These people made an appointment one month later after I had told them I would call if I wanted to return after the first time coming. They then charged $17 to my card without me ever confirming or making the second appointment. When I called to ask why I was charged they said I missed my appointment. After I told them I never said I wanted an appointment. The guy said thats weird we never make an appointment with the customers verbal indication. He said he would process a refund which I still am waiting for. (Side note: no e-mail or call was ever made to me advising me of a follow-up appointment) This place is a joke!

Only complaint was when I called regarding my follow up appt, the gal who answered the phone was rude, which kind of makes me want to cancel my upcoming appt.**Update - Cameron called me to apologize and assured me this is not how they like to conduct business, which to me is awesome that he wanted to make sure it was addressed right away. I will be going to my appt. **
