Soona is a such a valuable, wonderful resource and has been key to our early success as a new small business and brand. Weve done three shoots with the Denver studio and are planning on doing more. Overall, the team at Soona is professional, easy to communicate and collaborate with, has industry experience, and handles direction well. They shoot a ton every session – on and off brief – and it gives you a lot to choose from afterwards. I appreciated this. It didnt feel like they wanted to get my shoot over with. It really felt like they were invested in getting great content.Tips:– Get a Stylist. It really makes a huge difference. From layout and composition to attention to details, they really add a lot of value. If it helps, think of a Stylist as another title: Perfectionist. They will ensure that every shot is as perfect as it can be. They are the ones with taste, creativity, and sometimes a little OCD to make sure everyyyything is just right.– Create a strong brief. They recommend Pinterest, but if you have any experience using Google Slides, a quick write up with image references really seemed to go a long way with the team.– If you dont have a Stylist as part of your session, ask them to wipe down products in between shots and do their best to make sure that there isnt any dust or particles on surfaces.The reason for the four star rating:• Shoot 1: Satisfactory. Post edit backgrounds were not clean, lighting and shot angles were inconsistent. We had to request re-edits on a couple. The products didnt feel like they were wiped clean before each shot and in the end there was dust and particles that we edited ourselves. We did purchase a pattern/tile edit and the end result was unsatisfactory. Despite all this, we are still using the shots and were happy with our experience given the price and turnaround time.• Shoot 2: Excited and very satisfied. This shoot felt like it had a different crew. After the first experience, I created a much more robust set of directions and mood board using Google Slides and shared it with them. The team knew what we were going for and over-delivered. The editing was fantastic and the backgrounds were more seamless. The photographer was okay – angles were questionable and made cropping afterwards awkward. Today, we use these shots as backup and social content.• Shoot 3: Over the moon. We paid for a Stylist and it made a world of difference. We wish we had added a Stylist for our previous shoots and will continue doing so in the future – though it does feel somewhat unfortunate that a Stylist feels more like a necessity to have a great session. The whole team felt on point this time around – the photographer captured amazing angles and the lighting was fantastic. The Stylist really understood our brief and creative direction and was able to run with it and expand on it. The edits were great and backgrounds made to be clean and seamless. Contrast and lighting was accentuated properly in the edit. Our products seemed wiped and clean in between each shot and were properly handled. Were proud to use these shots as our primary hero shots and have received amazing feedback.I am an executive creative director at a large advertising agency and work with professional production studios and Soona is the closest youll get to that without the million dollar budgets, months of pre-production planning, and 15+ people teams. As a matter of fact, Ill be considering them as a professional resource in the future for quick turnaround engagements.Some (hopefully) constructive feedback:– The websites user experience is a great starting point but does have a lot of opportunity to improve. Hopefully theyll continue working on it. I see a lot of potential in this especially with Covid and hope they continue to invest in their technology.– It felt like there were some inconsistencies with the teams – I wonder if I can continue to work with the same people each time.– It is not always clear what exactly is included in the add-ons or what my expectations should be.

Because of social distancing, we set up a virtual photoshoot with soona and we are so happy with the results! They make the entire process so easy. We were able to drop the products off we wanted photos of, and then logged into the soona portal from home to watch our photoshoot live! The live chat during the shoot was perfect to give feedback shot-to-shot. We didnt have any lifestyle accessories and soona surprised us by providing some great pieces that really brought our photos & products to life. On top of all that, the photos are affordable and with a 24 hour editing turnaround, we were using them in our ads and social the next day. Wow! I truly cannot say enough about what an amazing and professional experience I had with Soona. I needed some pictures taken for my medical device product and I wasnt sure which studios around me were open due to COVID-19. I found Soona and boy did they deliver! They helped me to team up with a local talent agency who selected the most amazing models. From there, I got to watch the shoot in real time and chat with the team to give directions and comments. I had a great experience with Soona. I was looking for a series of photos for my e-commerce site, and wanted to work with a company who had experience in product photography, but I wanted more than the usual white backgrounds. I chose to work with a stylist based on previous reviews and some other marketing material soona was posting on social media, and I am glad I did - she provided ideas and feedback to the photographer that were inline with what I needed. I did a virtual session, and it was really neat to see the photos being taken in real time and communicating live with the stylist on what I liked, and didnt like as the photos were being taken. The photos themselves came out great, and I was able to get a great selection for both my website and social media/ads. I will definitely be returning for more. I opted to store my products there and will take advantage of some of the other holiday photo sets in the future. I would recommend this service to people looking for an easy way to get product photography, and suggest to select the stylist option as well.

I was blown away by my first experience with Soona. I didnt know what to expect and really hoped they would have some ideas for my product photos. I am a small business owner and single mom and I dedicate as much time as I can to my business, but my photos were lacking. The shoot was virtual, but I felt like I was a part of it as they were responsive and so helpful during the shoot. During COVID time, this is extremely helpful.Their staff - from office management to photographer are extremely responsive and communicating every details. Instead of shipping your product out and pray for the best, you actually get to direct the photoshoot at the comfort of your desk. Just amazing.

I booked last minute because I was in need of some high-end video content for my website. Ive never worked with a professional team filming before so I was unsure about what to expect. All I can say is WOW. The layout is perfect with 3 settings (living room, kitchen, and plain backdrop) and the team is incredible and fun and nice. It was the easiest thing Ive ever done - and I was so nervous! The end result was better than I could have imagined (and it came within 24 hours....incredible turnaround time and quality). Its official! soona is a member of our team. Were using soona on a regular cadence to create e-commerce images and a never-ending supply of gorgeous photos for social media. Love the Denver team, especially Megan who always makes us feel like our crazy demands are actually things they love to do.

This is my go to spot for professional photo needs; from headshots, to video clips and product stills. They are easy to work with - almost everything can be done online and on your time. You can even MAIL them product for them to shoot, if you dont have the time or inclination to do an in-person visit. If you do go in person, they have everything set up to operate smoothly and in accordance with todays health guidelines. There really is no excuse to get those shots taken. Their staff is awesome and their prices are reasonable.

Ive worked with some local professional photography services, but Soona has exceeded my expectations! Multiple times! One of the most important aspects in product photography is the lighting. Well, my professional and expensive studios could not fully fix the glare even in post production. Soona fixed it 5 minutes into the photoshoot! Ive learned that high costs do not guarantee high quality. You have to go with the right people. It is sometimes hard to find the right people to do business with. Soona has those right people! They are my go-to photographers now.

We had an amazing experience at Soona. Not only was the experience seamless, the content came out amazing! We’re based in Denver and we oftentimes need last minute ecomm or social media content and Soona will be our new go-to.

Soona said they could deliver same-day professional photos for my company, Sheets & Giggles. I wouldnt say I didnt believe them, but I didnt know what to expect and went in figuring it would be at least a week before we had any usable content.Monday morning, we went in to the Denver location in South Broadway with a bunch of wrinkled sheets straight from their boxes. (I can be absent-minded at times and definitely should have ironed or dry cleaned them first.) The Soona team graciously took the time to iron, steam, stiffen, and prepare the sheets for the shoot. After a few hours, I felt like we had a lot of great shots, and I left and went back to work.By Monday afternoon, they had touched up and edited the photos for me. Not only that, they ensured that the pics complied with Amazons marketing guidelines for hero images, which is what I mentioned I would be using them for.By Monday night, the images were live on my site, and we uploaded them to Amazon that same day as well. Last time I did a photoshoot, it took over a week from start to finish to get what I needed (and was way more expensive).The Soona team are all consummate professionals, and I dont hesitate putting my company name behind this review. I have zero doubt Ill be back again, and probably pretty frequently.

Had a photos session this week. We started late. When we started, the photographer was in a hurry during the session. She kept saying “ I think we got it” after every burst of photos and seemed annoyed when I wanted a couple more photos in a different pose. I asked if we could use a different backdrop to see if the pictures would come out better, but the photographer said no. I wished I had taken a couple more photos wearing a blazer and with different poses. The whole session felt really rushed with the photographer content doing the bare minimum. I will not be going back.
