I took my bridesmaid dress here for simple alterations (shorten the dress, but still needed to e floor lenghth) when I picked up the dress, it was way too short and the top layer of the dress was completely ruined and higher than even the main portion of the dress. This is poor quality of work and I had to order an entirely new dress which may or may nor get here in time for the wedding. It saddens me to see the company stand by this work as it is clearly not correct.

DO NOT GO TO THIS DRY CLEANERS! You are better off throwing it in the wash machine even if there is a 100% chance it will be destroyed. I have finally given up after going there for so long. The past three things I brought to them came back the same or worse than when I brought it to them. And, they are NEVER on time. They never have it ready even when you are a week late to pick it up.The first one was a white silk blouse. When I went to pick it up, I could scratch the dirt off with my finer nail. I told them to “try again”. It “came back” meaning they threw it in the back and didn’t touch it looking the exact same. Reluctantly I paid. Threw it in the wash when I got home because I figured it was destroyed anyway so may as well try one more time before tossing it. It came out perfect.Next was my duvet cover which, was not cheap. I asked them specifically to please make sure the duvet (embroidery) was ironed. I paid extra to make sure it was pressed. They sent it back three times only to tell me it can’t be ironed. Cotton? Cannot be ironed? This last time around I had enough. I took in a pair of patterned dress pants. As usual, my ticket said Thursday but at 4:30, it wasn’t there until EOD? When I went to pick them up, first thing I saw was that they had done absolutely nothing. I said “those are dirty.” The woman was so outrageous and obviously has zero customer service experience. “It will be $12.95”. I told her I was not paying for it and she attempted to rip the pants out of my hands and picked up the phone to call the police. I was so disgusted, I again, reluctantly paid for it and told her I was never coming back again. Her response was “good.” They get a huge NEGATIVE rating from me. Terrible customer service, terrible job, unprofessional.. just all around bad . It’s unfortunate because I’m a local supporter.

So I visited Paradise on third on October 26 to drop off some curtains , the lady1 was nice and helpful and I pre paid to pick up on a later date .When I arrived to pick up the curtains lady2 behind the counter insisted I didn’t pay even after showing her where paradise charged my card... she then said the reason she treated me this way was because she “hasn’t seen me before .”The store or at least some of the employees don’t seem black / Poc friendlyHighly wouldn’t recommend

I go here because the people are really great, and the few problems that I have had have always been quickly and pleasantly resolved (being in sales really makes me appreciate super customer service). Watch out though... their prices are way, way up there, even with coupons from the entertainment book!

I had been a customer of this location for at least 3 years (not a frequent customer) and a prior location at 7th & Pennsylvania for at least 1 year prior to that locations closure. While not a frequent customer I had been to the 7th & Pennsylvania location enough to be given two of their yellow nylon customer drop off bags. A shirt that was dropped was ruined. I understand that in life things happen. But the process to work to resolve an issue is absurd. The process is based on 1. The schedule of the manager which (as of the time of this posting) is 7a-1p Mon, Tues, Thur, Friday (and maybe Sat but did not discuss this issue on a Sat). That time frame to resolve an issue does not work for those customers that work. 2. If the issue is then escalated to the owner....the owner visits that store one day a week. Again not really the best schedule if the owner makes the final decision. With my specific situation a shirt that had multiple layers of silk screen designs went from very crisp and vibrant colored silk screen designs to completely faded out for an entire section (not in patches and not gradual either) bright red was flat pink. That location had cleaned that shirt at least 2 times if not more and no issues, no signs of gradual fading, no hint of time/wear taking its toll. The whole process to finally speak to the owner about the issue was one week. That is ridiculous. After discussions between myself and the manager and myself and the owner they offered provide a credit towards future services. If a customer believes that a garment was ruined by the establishment and it takes a week to reach a point of the offer why does that seem like the logical and fair solution? The measure of a company is not only how they perform their services every day, but also includes how they meet the customer needs as well as how they try to rectify issues that happen. On the last two points Paradise Cleaners is well below acceptable. If you do business with Paradise their services general are good and the staff was friendly...until there is an issue and you better get ready to jump though hoops, a lot of hoops.
