I’m not sure what his name is, but I had an unpleasant encounter with one of the rudest humans I have ever met here at Cartech. If you have any interest whatsoever in being treated kindly, take your business elsewhere. The man was hostile, aggressive, and clearly wouldn’t know customer service if it slapped him in the face. I will not take my personal vehicle or my company vehicles here for certain.

This place is a joke. Took my f550 here 2 years ago and today I brought my f450 and he refused to do the emission on it cause it’s to big. Last owner was awesome. They should have never sold it. I do not recommend this place. Use the place next door L&N Automotive

Rating this place for the friendly service and helpful advice. Unfortunately, they only had the ability to test rear-wheel drive vehicles the day I went there, so I cant speak for the emissions test itself. The gentleman working was very helpful in suggesting other places to go and even looking online for some that might be open on a Saturday.

Will not take my truck there again. The guy who ran the test had no clue what he was doing. He redlined my engine several times to the point where I thought it might blow (second shop did NOT do this) and the came in to tell me the hose kept blowing off and to take my truck somewhere else. When asked what hose, he said the testing hose. Immediately took my truck to another nearby testing station and the truck passed without any issues from the truck or their testing equipment. Again, the second shop did not feel the need to push my engine to redline rpms. Hopefully it did not damage my engine but absolutely do not recommend this place, nor will I be back.

GREAT SERVICE!Yesterday I visited Cartech for the first time to get an emissions test and VIN verification for my truck. Mike provided prompt, courteous service and I was out the door in under 20 minutes. I will certainly use Cartech again the next time I need an emissions test.

Mike was very helpful, honest and friendly. Referred me to another shop since his emissions test equipment wasn’t working that day. Gave me advice on what I needed, where to go, and where to avoid. There seems to be some shady/ untrustworthy establishments out there... But not Mike and Cartech; they sure passed MY test!

I drove up, Wes guided me in, in less than 2 minutes he was testing my rig, approximately 8 minutes later he was handing me my paperwork.There was cookies, coffee, and a nice selection of soft drinks just in case youre thirsty.I found my emission testing center as long as hes open and I own a diesel.A++++Phil Lucero

Truck in front of me had been deleted and was turned away without charge when he could have been charged the full fee. The inspection bay and dyno are visible from the exterior door and the window in the waiting area. Mike also let me know that if there were any problems with the VIN verification abbreviations, to call and hed meet at the DMV to get it sorted out. Keep up the great service!

Quick and easy, very friendly technician and locally owned which I always appreciate... In the 15 yrs I have owned my diesel, this was the most pleasant experience I have had with an emissions test.

We have used Cartech for several years now for our diesel emissions testing. Always very friendly and knowledgable and ethical (unlike their neighbors at L&N). They go above and beyond!We would HIGHLY recommend Cartech.

VERY DISAPPOINTED.....Made a mistake when i took my truck last week Handed the guy my registration. Registration was for another 2006 Ford I own. Did the emissions NEVER CROSS REFERENCED THE PLATES OR THE VIN ON THE ACTUAL TRUCK. Very Minor mistake. I caught this And went back. I figured no big deal simple mistake. Nothing i can do we will have to Retest it another $45 Remind you i was here just days ago. Okay ill eat it. pay the 45$ get it done.....Just got back today. Mind you i double checked my Registration. Their Paperwork Has the VEHICLE INFORMATION AS SOMEONE COMPLETELY Different Apparently Matthew Wisniewsi Owns my Truck. CLOWNS.... Looks like another day and the Big yellow Circus Building Tomorrow. Lets See Must not be their fault another $45 Dollars Sir. CHECK YOUR STUFF YOURSELF DONT PUT YOU TRUCK OR CAR IN THE HANDS OF INCOMPETENT PEOPLE.

Ive had four annual emissions inspections completed at CarTech. Fast, friendly and professional each time.I recommend Cartech to anyone I meet that has a diesel vehicle.

Why are these guys $10 more than their competitors 100’ away??????? L&N emissions, which is 2 doors down, charges $10 less for a diesel test. Why on Earth wouldn’t you just drive another 95 feet to save $10? How are these guys still here?

Excellent service and very friendly folks! I take both my Jetta TDI and my Dodge Ram every year for the emissions test. Wait time is minimal or none. Fast, friendly and efficient. Would not go anywhere else!

Ive used Cartech now for 17 yrs. Ive taken 5 different trucks and my jetta in always had awesome service. In the last year since being run by someone new I will not take my vechial there anymore. The guy that came out was unfriendly and very rude when I waz asking a question. I left and went next door instead.

After contacting the DMV, the local police station and the state trooper in need of an onsite VIN verification for our 1949 bus, we were thrilled to find Mike willing to come out and get the job done. When I got a VW TDI I thought emissions testing would become a pain, but once I found CarTech my concerns were allayed. Its great that they are so centrally located, and specialize in light duty diesels. I got my VIN verification and emissions test almost immediately, and the price seemed reasonable. Fun that it is a small, family business, with cookies, beverages, and a dog. Ill be back as long as they are in business and I own a diesel.Be careful not to go into the business next door, which does not specialize in light duty.

I have used Cartech, Inc. for my VM Jetta TDI diesel emissions inspection since I bought the car in 2005. I just keep going back there because they are fast, friendly, and have the best price in town. With those three things, theres no reason to go anywhere else. I also like the fact that they have been in business, at this location, for many years, and it is a family operated business, dedicated to diesel emissions testing. In the 5 times (over 10 years) that I have had my emissions test done at Cartech, I have gotten in right away, with no wait. Just make sure you go to the yellow building that says Cartech. The place right next to them also does emissions testing, but you want to go to the yellow building that says Cartech.

Amazing facility, very helpful, convenient diesel testing, will be going back.

The website said they are open on Saturday. Nope. Not open on Saturday. Luckily, L&N diesel emission testing next door was open and they were great.

Walked in and was treated so rude I walked out. This is not a business. I dont know what it is.

This was my best emsission test experiecnce. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. (Probably closer to 5) Even with such a small office there were accomodations, and the staff was knowledgable, polite, and efficient. Along with the fact that they were the only place that I could find that was open on a Saturday, I dont think I couldve found an easier place for diesel testing.

First and foremost i am very disappointed with cartech, there used to be such wonderful people working there, its a shame the owner passed away! ive been going there for 10 years now, recently there is a new person ray who was disrespectful and raised the prices on me a veteran? im concerned the bussiness wont make it much longer. i also noticed smell of marajauna, who runs such a place of bussiness? i will never return to cartech ever again! all in all very unsatisfied!

This shop is small and bare bones but the service is exceptional and the price cant be beat. Thanks Cartech!
