I showed up at 7:34AM. They open at 7:30AM. I was In and out In under 25 minutes. Easy sign in on tablet. Staff was very friendly and efficient.I was prepared with all paperwork printed. Literally zero issues. From the reviews I’ve read- most people seem unprepared upon arrival. Labcorp is just a company that does the testing. They aren’t your doctor or even an extension of such. I have to have labs done every six months or so. I will absolutely be back. Thanks for making it so easy and literally painless!! Much appreciated.
Truly the worst. This is the second time now where they have lost the paperwork sent by my doctor. I have had to wait over an hour two times due to the fact that they consistently lose it. I have even called my doctor to confirm and low and behold they sent the order directly to them. The staff is extremely rude and make you feel like the problem. I wish I could give 0 stars.
Did the check-in from the car, never received a text back when it’d be okay to come in. Tried to call the office multiple times but nobody answered the phone. Use a different facility
I went here to do a drug test for my school nursing program. They did not follow protocol and sent my sample as a clinical sample and not a chain of custody sample which schools require. Now I have many hurdles in my way. Do not go here to get a drug test. Go to different Labcorp.
I visited this Labcorp for my own personal drug screen (not through employment) so that I could confirm a negative test before I took my actual employment drug screen through my company. I asked the woman at the front desk which test I should take to determine THC levels in my urine, not just negative or positive (there are at least 5 to choose from). After typing on the computer she printed out and handed me information on the specific test I should take.It ended up being the wrong test, and even though the results came back “negative” for THC, when I went to take a drug screen through my employment my test came back positive, and I lost the Job, and I specifically blame the person at the desk who gave me a false recommendation. If she wasn’t sure of the specific test, she should have pointed me to someone who would know, instead of making a guess. Also it was a complete waste of 150 dollars. So yes, 1 star.
This place is a disaster. I made an appointment; LabCorp instructed me to text when I parked and check in virtually (due to COVID) and they’d text me when the technician was ready. The text never came. After waiting for 20 minutes, I went inside and found the staff just sitting there. I told them I had been waiting for a text and never got one. They never apologized.Next, I was told my results would take 48-72 hours. Here I am 144 hours later and nothing. I’ve called; they don’t pick up. I’ve left messages; they don’t return them. I emailed corporate HQ; we’ll see if they reply. This isn’t McDonalds, this is HEALTHCARE. They need to get their act together.
Everyone there was very helpful. Ryan hit the vein in 1 shot and was very friendly. Thank y’all for making this a pleasant experience.
Shady Shady Shady! Do not use this awful testing facility. Our doctor sent us here for blood work. We had an agreed upon price before we showed up. When we got there. They increased what we were charged by an extra $150. We paid everything in full and then got the bloodwork done. Then 3 weeks later we received ANOTHER bill for an additional $80. 3 Months later they still have not fixed this issue. Terrible company, with shady billing practices. AVOID!!!!
Staff was very friendly. Sign in process was quick and wait was very reasonable. Never have a seen such a string of rude customers though. An old man raised his voice at the poor probably 25 year old girl who worked there. Don’t blame it on the staff if you didn’t double check the day of your reservation or don’t understand how to use a tablet to check in. It’s 2020 this isn’t new people.
Ive been twice. Labs sent to the incorrect doctors office both times. Isnt this a HIPPA violation? Had a wait time of 40 min both times despite a near empty waiting room. The second visit, they did not perform the lab that was ordered (a culture) and instead just performed a UA. I had to take time off from work to have these labs done and they didnt even perform the lab my doctor requested. I now have to take more time off from work to go back and have the proper lab performed. When leaving a sample, there was a sample still in the bathroom with somebody elses identifying data on it. Do not recommend this place at all.
I had a good experience today. The staff was helpful and pleasant; I was seen just a few minutes after my appointment time; and the blood draw was quick and painless. The small waiting room complicated social distancing, but staff and visitors made it work.
No one at the desk told me that I could pee in the cup at my leisure, so I sat there for 90 minutes holding my bladder waiting for them to call my name. I asked the receptionist when it was my turn, because I really needed to use the bathroom. She made me feel stupid to even ask. So thanks for possibly giving me kidney stones Labcorp at rose medical center. Maybe Ill have to come back and get more blood work and give you guys more money.
I have been to 2 labcorps in the metro Denver area in the past 2 weeks, and both of them have closed early for the day or gone to lunch early, leaving me unable to get my blood drawn. This was not due to any extenuating circumstances such as bad weather, just seems to be their normal operation to close earlier than advertised.
They aren’t very organized! Every time I come they take forever and last time I had my standing order and another test to be completed they completely ignored my standing order and sent me home without getting all my blood draws.Just really frustrating to have to come back the next day and wait all over again.
Pretty dismal experience. The man with greasy blonde hair seems to be doing his best to make each visitor miserable.
Wow! The other reviews about rude staff are correct. I have never experienced anything so unprofessional in a healthcare setting. I hope they realize that the customer experience matters and take the appropriate measures to clean up their act.
You call and it goes straight to voicemail, the voicemail doesnt say anything about being closed and its 3:30pm, so you drive across town and get a handwritten sign on the door Closed for the day. No other locations close... and you try not to be that person leaving a bad review but how unprofessional and frustrating.
I had a great experience here today! The sweet staff did everything to help get me in before their lunch break. I greatly appreciate them helping me and being awesome! I like their nee computer check in system too!
I brought my teenage son here for blood work. The front desk staff was helpful and friendly, although the ladies were a bit unprofessional (loud and gossipy). The woman who did my sons blood draw was kind and put him at ease. We were in and out in 20 minutes, and everyone else seemed to be called in a timely manner while we were there as well. My biggest complaint would be parking - unless you want to do valet, good luck finding a close spot.
Rude & discourteous staff. I was first person into the lab and first person checked in. Every time I need lab draws from LabCorp they claim they cannot find the doctor’s orders that were sent online. Thus I am forced to go to doctor’s office for written order. When I return after wasting 45 min to get a written doctor order, the staff said “we found the order”but always puts me to the back of the line. A visit that should take 15 min turns into 2 hour ordeal. Finally google says open until 5p and makes no mention being closed for lunch. So I wasted another 30 min waiting for Labcorp to open.
The poor nurses here had bright red faces and appeared highly overworked. Had to wait 30 minutes after my appointments scheduled time (I dont blame the nurses, they were trying their best to get to everybody). The front desk receptionist yelled my name the reason for my blood draw (COVID antibody test) in front of everyone else in the patient room, which Im sure violates some HIPAA standard. When I finally went in to get my blood draw I was in and out of the room in just a couple minutes, I had asked the nurse how crazy it was today and she said it was just her and two other nurses. Why dont they hire more, or offer less appointments so they dont overcrowd themselves? (Definitely a corporate management problem on LabCorps end, not the nurses!)
They are incredibly nice here! Made a 3 hour glucose test almost painless. I recommend coming early and later in the week when they aren’t so busy. If you do this, you can probably be seen very quickly even without an appointment.
Wonderful staff! I arrived right at noon, which is when they close for lunch. I had just driven from work on my lunch hour to drop off a specimen. Two gentlemen (I wish I’d gotten their names) very graciously offered to help me even though they were clearly on their way out to lunch. That is GREAT customer service, and I am so thankful!
I had a great experience here. Check-in was fast and easy, and Kendra was a great technician! I was in and out in 15 minutes.
I came here for routine bloodwork and honestly, it was the best blood draw I’ve ever had. First of all, I was in and out in under 20 minutes. The staff was helpful and super friendly, and the woman drawing my blood was so talented. 100% painless, no jerking around, no pinching, etc. It’s a relatively small office but if you get here early there won’t be an issue!I was almost put off by some of the bad reviews but I’m so glad I chose this location.
Front desk staff was unnecessarily rude and the Phlebotomist wasn’t any better. I felt like I was back in basic training being ordered around. Not sure if they were all having a bad day but IMO it doesn’t take a lot of effort to be somewhat friendly.
I was very happy with the small amount of time i spent there. I was called quickly. Labs done as soon as i was done registering. The guy that registered me and drew my labs was amazing. His name is Quentin. He was awesome to chat with and considering why i was there getting labs done to begin with, he really help put my mind at ease! If ever i need labs done again this is totally where i will go!
Was dreading my blood draw after reading reviews and it was super fast and easy. I was done in less than 10 minutes. Loved the self check in kiosk, made it fast and my phlebotomist was lovely!
Horrible service! Front staff rude to every single patient that came through that door. An elderly lady came in and was obviously having a difficult time with the kiosk check in center. She asked for help got ignored and was confused. She basically in her own snotty way said figure it out. So I got up and helped the poor lady. Geez, Front desk lady have some compassion towards people.
I should note that I’m still in the office so my experience is not over yet. This office is disorganized and understaffed. One employee was by himself for the first hour or so and a women showed up announcing to everyone this was her first day here. She didn’t know where anything was and had to look up how to administer my test. Since my test has to retest every hour for 3 hours I was able to observe how bad this place is. They had no ones paper work every client had to call there doctors to have it resent to the office and one women had to go home because her doc office was closed and it couldn’t be resent. All the doors are open so you can hear all conversations about what’s each patient is getting tested for. One women is having allergy shots done for her infant daughter. I could here the person giving the baby an allergy test say “I only poke babies twice” you have to go across the street to the ER. Only because she didn’t want to! This same women is so rude to almost everyone that walks through the door. They also mixed up the times for myself and another to get our blood tested! Which is timed. I was sent here to have myBlood drawn 4 times every hour. And the third time I had to tell them to draw my blood! I had to explain to the women that I am in my third trimester and because of this test I had to fast for over 12 hours. So at this point I am tired and hungry. I hope this next hour I’m here gets better.
This place is great at managing so many clients and so much data at one time. I dont think the negative reviewers realize what is going on here and just need to whine and moan on the internet. This stuff is complicated and expensive - so any highly specialized care (one shot, every hour, for 3 hours) would be insanely expensive any other way. Its not a perfect system, but LabCorp is just doing the best they can within that system. I am glad they are here as this would be a LOT slower if these test went through each Doctors office.
I understand most people dont like getting their blood drawn but Ive had good experiences here thanks to the lab technicians who have drawn my blood.Last time I went, TJ helped me out and made sure I had an easy and professional experience. Thanks TJ.
Super fast and friendly!
Very rude and they dnt know how to do their own job went to drop off a sample at another location and they didnt give me the correct paperwork to turn it in so then i return to this location and they cant find me in their system when they saw me and checked me in to start with ask your dr. To send u eleswhere
I had an appointment that I made on line the previous day, got there about 10 minutes early. The lady that greeted me was very professional, did a blood draw, and I was on my way before my appointment time. Best experience Ive ever had in a blood lab. In & out quickly!
It was fun and quick. Got some good laughs
Scheduled online 1 day in advance and was in and out in less than 20 mins. they also have valet service. Overall great experience.
Front desk could be more friendly, professional, faster. The location is great though.
I wish they posted their lunch hours... closed from 12-1 apparently
I hate LabCorp, I mean HaTE! I travel all the. Wait to this location because the location in DTC is so horrible. However this time TJ my phlebotomist was amazing, I really appreciated him and he got me on the first stick- a first time for LabCorp! all the receptionist at all the locations are super rude and need to be replaced. But thank you TJ! I will be requesting you in the future.
Off to a bad start but was able to recover
Maria who works at the front desk is one of the worst customer service associates I have ever had the displeasure of working with. I have been using this labcorp location at a minimum every 4 weeks sometimes more frequently throughout my pregnancy and there has never been an encounter with her that has been a pleasant one. Every time I come in my orders seem to have been mysteriously lost no matter which dr they were sent from and no matter if the dr has the confirmation that they were sent she has lost them and has no solution to the problem. She is unfriendly and shouldnt be in a customer facing role because she truly makes coming to this location an unpleasant experience.
I feel like I’m at the DMV. As far as patient experience, this is terrible.
Waited for almost an hour and found out a week later that they ran the incorrect test. They were sent an order from my doctor and they still ran the incorrect test. I’m lucky my test wasn’t critical for my health or I’d be completely screwed and waiting double the time.
VERY UNPROFESSIONAL - Do not use this location if you value your health and time. The worst Labcorp I have every been too. I did bloodwork lastweek for them not to send it to my doctor. Not only did I call 5 plus times along with my doctors office they did not answer once.Upon walking in, there was absolutely no one in the waiting room and everyone at the front desk was on their cell phones lounging around all over the counters.Once I asked about my results I was told to call another number to get the results. Why did I have to drive to this establishment to be told to call someone else when I could have been told that over the phone.
I have been going to this Lab Corp for almost 2 months on a weekly basis. There is never one office or lab personnel on the next visit. I suspicion that this is a very, very poor run operation. Rose Hospital should have more say in their operations even though they are a separate franchise. I would recommend and will check to see if LAB CORP are properly licensed in the state if Colorado. If you are brave enough to have your tests performed, call ahead of time to check that your orders are on the fax machine or in the file cabinet thrown together with other patents or just laying in a pile on the desk. No one in the office knows anything. The time and energy spent is on getting onto the computer and filling out the necessary forms for payment. You the individual are very secondary and add stress to the whole chaotic environment.
I have had to go here every month for 6 months and will continue to do so for another 6 months. The staff are nice. They get my tests done without much hassle. They are however extremely understaffed. The desk is frequently without staff because they are trying to get everyones tests done in the back. I go without an appointment now and just do a walk in. If you do make an appointment you end up waiting anyway. It gets very busy and Ive only seen two people working there at a time. In my experience, afternoons are less busy than the mornings.
Close early and don’t update vm.
They were so efficient and Bonnie is a rock star and went above and beyond to help me today!
I just love this place. Very nice and educated staff.
Labcore charge me $916.28 for blood work. I called Quest. They asked me what state I was from. They then quoted $227 for the same bloodwork. Why did Labcorp charge me more than the State of Colorado allows? I played the bill to avoid outside collections. Then, BCBS agreed to make a one time exception and sent you a check. I am wondering when I can expect my refund check. I have been waiting for about a month. Date of service was 8/25/18.The staff at Labcorp have always treated me well.
1 hr wait with an appointment. Worthles .
Unbelievably slow and rude. I have a lot a patience and work in primary care and see a lot of people but dear word this is ridiculous.
Horrible customer service. They never answer the phone so I made an appointment online to make an appointment for a simple blood draw. Online said after 130. I get there for my appointment and IM TURNED AWAY because I dont have the FedEx bag I needed for my personal use to send. They told me to walk in the next day with the bag... We get there, they take ALL MY STUFF and we leave. Then I find out they DIDNT EVEN SEND MY IMPORTANT PACKAGE- THEY ACTUALLY BURNED iT WITHOUT TELLING ME BECAUSE I DIDNT HAVE AN APPOINTMENT!!! Even tho I did and they rudely turned me away. They dont know what their doing.
This place has the absolute worse customer service. The front desk is downright rude, and wouldn’t help an older gentleman with the self check-in. I would go anywhere but here if you can help it!
Maybe it starts with the fact that the staff look like members of a prison outreach program as every employee is covered in tats and decorated with piercings. That would be OK, but unfortunately the attitude and work ethic are a direct reflection of their appearance.Over the last two months, facing a life threatening illness, these people have screwed up two critical tests I was ordered to have. The last one - on 2/2 of this year - required that a doctor prep me before I took the test. The test required that a sample be transferred to a specialized container. I asked about the procedure, the tech became defensive and assured me we know what were doing. Did they? Just today, after not getting any results back, my Doctor worked his way through the Labcorp bureaucracy only to find out that Labcorp - yes, the one at 4500 E. 9th Ave - did not transfer the sample to the proper container. Not only did they screw it up, they didnt have the decency to notify anyone. There may be other Labcorp locations that have competent staffs, but if you value your health, steer clear of 4500 E. 9th Ave, they are complete idiots who dont care about the quality of their work or the patients who come to see them.
Every time Im here they have no clue what their doing. Very rude unprofessional.
Sat in the waiting room for over an hour. Front desk person was great but they are WAY under staffed.
This place is awesome and the staff were amazing
I get it, they have to deal with a lot of people in a day. But damn the staff here is rude.
Got there at 7:50 left at 9 for a blood draw, height and weight measurement. There was only 1 employee there until 8:30, he was in charge of the front desk, paperwork and drawing blood, absolutely ridiculous for a public traded company. At 8:30 another employee clocked on. Everyone in the waiting room was frustrated Labcorp, get your act together and respect peoples time.
One of the least efficient operations I have ever had the displeasure to be forced to goto by my insurance company. Not enough employees working, not enough room for everyone to even sit. All of my worst lab facility experiences have stemmed from this single location. Dont come here, seriously.
For any medical professionals avoid this place to drop off any labs. Slow slow slow and they make you you wait 30min just take your drive somewhere else !
Rude and inefficient go elsewhere
They cancelled the test and giggled about making me do it.
This place is so inefficient it hurts and the staff are generally rude. First visit took over an hour to get blood drawn, second visit to drop a specimen off I had to wait for 5 people to get checked in before handing my bags over. Will not be coming back.
Worst customer service ever. I had an 8am appointment and they took folks without and appointment and a 830am appointment before they even checked me in. What is the point of having an appointment. Also not sure why they are open at 730am when most of their staff rolls in at 820am. Avoid this location if at all possible.
Set an appointment at 8. It’s 8:38 and I still haven’t been seen. When I arrived there were 2 people working and 11 people waiting. Most inefficient health office I’ve ever been to.
They werent the friendliest, but they got me in and out in 20 minutes and my test results came back within 48 hours.
Inefficient and disorganized
