Hello!I had the pleasure of talking with Myles Keeney who is one of the agents here and it was one of the best experiences I had going over insurance policies. Myles spent over almost an hour going over all the different policy options that I had with State Farm for my car insurance. He priced out around 4-5 different options for me and was not pushy when helping me out. He gave me the option to think over all the policy options and decide between the policies. I felt like I was being well taken care of. Ultimately I chose a different policy, but the policy I chose is definitely a more risky policy that is slightly cheaper ( which was just more my preference based on how much I drive and my perceived risk). If you are worried about another insurance company raising your rates after an accident, I would highly recommend talking to Myles and going with State Farm. The policies Myles reviewed with me were the second cheapest when it came to full coverage and they won’t raise your rates if you cause an accident. I barely drive my car, so I really didn’t feel the need to worry about accidents. Again I just want to say thank you to Myles and the amazing team at State Farm! They really do their due diligence and I can really appreciate that as someone who does a lot of research before making a financial commitment.

I have been with State Farm for 6 years now. I had a few questions and concerns about my policy. I called up Andy Charles and he was able to answer all of my questions and concerns. NEVER HAVE 2 FAMILY MEMBERS WITH State Farm, BECAUSE THIS BRANCH WILL CONFUSE YOUR RECORDS AND FILE BLAME OF AN ACCIDENT INVOLVING ONE FAMILY AS BEING THE FAULT OF ANOTHER FAMILY MEMBER!(1) Any time you actually need them, this Andy Charles office just has you call the national 800 number and talk to a stranger in another state.(2) I had State Farm for years through Andy Charles office, as I did my mom. I wised up and switched polices. TWO YEARS AFTER I WAS NO LONGER USING THEM, my mom was as fault in accident....a year after that, I go to price insurance for a new car, and find out ANDY CHARLES FILED MY MOMS ACCIDENT IN THE NATIONAL INSURANCE CLAIM DATABASE AS HAVING BEEN MY ACCIDENT, name, etc. Upon discovering this, they REFUSED to correct and said Id have to sort it out with lexis-nexus/the national legal & insurance database! ANDY CHARLES screwed up, then left it as my problem to solve. What a bunch of lazy useless screw-ups!!! I cringe every time I see those State Farm ads. Not only has this branch mis-filed paperwork and screwed up MY insurance rates over my MOMs accident...they most certainly are NOT there for you but to SELL and COLLECT your money. Beyond useless, they cant even file basic paperwork or get names and gender correct. AVOID THIS HEADACHE & HIGHER RATES THROUGH THEIR SCREW-UPS!

Andy Charles has been an amazing agent. Ive had State Farm for renters insurance for five years now. It just came time renew my auto policy with Progressive. When I got a quote from State Farm online, the quote was very high. Tien, the account manager for Andy, gave me a call and she was able to come up with a quote that saved me roughly 17% with better coverage. Tien was absolutely amazing and I ended up switching my umbrella insurance over to State Farm as well. I highly recommend Andy and Tien. Theyve provided personal customer service that cant be beat by the other providers.

We had auto insurance with the Andy Charles State Farm Insurance Agency for about four years. When we added a six year old car to the policy it jumped from $87 to $225 per month. Our policy was expiring so we replaced it with a SafeCo policy for about $110/month for both vehicles. But this isnt the purpose for this review…State Farm continued to auto charge our credit card even though SafeCo notified Andys office of the replacement policy the day it took effect, which is industry norm. But Andy renewed our existing policy with State Farm anyway. Through our experience in the past 45+ years, this has never happened. My husband personally called Andys office when he saw the continued charges on our credit card and was told it was their policy to ignore such notifications until they hear from the owner themselves. Yet even after this phone call the charges continued!My husband contacted Andy again and since our credit card had now been charged for four additional months Andy wanted a copy of our declarations page showing when we changed policies and promised a refund. We sent the declarations page yet we received only a half-months refund which was from the date of the phone call with Andy, rather than back-dating the refund to the date the new coverage took effect as shown on the Declarations Page, as should have been done. Keep in mind, four months prior, SafeCo notified State Farm the day the new policy began, so they already had a record of the date State Farm was no longer insuring our vehicle. We feel like they are intentionally making this as difficult as possible, perhaps hoping we might be paying attention or simply forget about it (which we senior citizens can do). I cant help but wonder how many people do exactly this and thus the reason for the State Farm/Andy Charles Agency policy to ignore notification of a policy change by the new insurance company.It has now taken several calls and emails to his office and it is still not resolved. Our next step is to contact Tom Martino, along with the state insurance board. We will also dispute the charges with our credit card company.In over 45 years of insuring vehicles we have never had to fight to get an insurance company to stop charging for coverage after they were notified of a policy change. This is a professional courtesy offered between insurance companies - a courtesy that apparently State Farm and Andy have elected to opt out of. This seems like a strong-arming technique to prevent folks from shopping policies.Our advice is avoid State Farm and this agency; but if you must, then at the very least, dont trust them with auto-pay. In fact we will never set up auto pay with an insurance agency again. Lesson learned.4-21-17 update: We received a response from Andy immediately after posting this review. He contacted State Farm and was told they could not find a letter sent from the new agent handling our policy change. So Andy asked for the agents contact info to get a copy of this letter and the next day our refund was approved.Andy apologized profusely, explaining there is basically a clause in the Colorado insurance law that allows them to place the final responsibility for notification on the insured, even though it has been our experience that most insurance companies do not in fact require this and are happy to accept notification directly from the new insurance company. Basically, State Farm has elected to utilize an out clause. Nice.I will update when we receive the full refund due (the last time a refund was promised we only received a half-month).Final update: it took another month to get just a partial refund (about 1/3 what was owed) and another month or so to get ALMOST what was due. Andy explained he really had to fight for us to get what we got. In the end we were shorted all the service charges (around $20). It just wasnt worth fighting anymore so we absorbed the loss.The take away - stay away from State Farm and this agency - theyll raise your rates and try to never let you go!
