Absolutely DO NOT rent from TOM FOUTS!!! They are slumlords!!! They do not maintain the properties they rent. Their handy man is way to old to be able to fix any problem that requires strength. They did not replace a broken window in my living room after a hail storm until about 2 months after the storm. They taped it up instead and expected us to live this way. The properties are bare minimum when you move in and they never make repairs.If you are renting a duplex or shared property BEWARE because they do not care who they rent to. I have had to deal with a drug addicted older woman who has defaced the property, taken in vagrants, and invites crazy drug addicted people to house/store their cars in our driveway. She constantly rings my doorbell at any hour and runs off. She is obviously on drugs and constantly harasses us(her front door neighbors) as well as our surrounding neighbors. The next door neighbors have witnessed her with a crack pipe in her hand. She begs for money and rides. Tom Fouts could care less that this lady is sketchy and creates unsafe situations for those around her because her rent is paid by the government so its a guaranteed money in their pockets. They otherwise would not get any money for the rodent infested apartment they have rented this lady. The property behind our duplex is condemned by the city(found out after we moved in), and they constantly use it as a dumping area. There are several old old toilets and random trash back there causing rat infestation. I have brought all of this to their attention time after time, but they could care less. This is the absolutely worst experience I have ever had. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM!
