I started coming to Happy Nail a few months ago and its always a great experience. Paula does a fantastic job on manicures. She works efficiently and quickly without making you feel rushed. The pedicures are a great value - the massage chairs are comfortable and relaxing and each of the technicians are friendly and skilled. An appointment is recommended and they manage their schedule well. I absolutely love my bi-weekly time with them!

2 stars because my nails look decent bc I picked a basic color. Other than that, the nail tech I had was aggressive with my hands and rushed through most of it. 2 things…she stopped working on my nails to take some lady’s ingrown toe nail out 🤮🤢 I was waiting for like 15-20 mins. Second, the buffer she used for my feet was used already, it was that noticeable. Super gross. I came here bc the place I usually go to was booked.

My daughter and I went on a girls date and I received excellent service getting my pedi as mani by a guy who was really cool and did great but I daughter had wanted acrylic nails with designs which she had a pic of also. The lady proceeded and stated it would be $65 which is fine for the design on the picture. The lady started and decided to do a nail dip anyways on long nails which looked really bad her nails where different sizes and shapes and she didn’t even ask my daughter what shape she wanted. Also she was extremely rough with her and tossed her hands around like she was annoyed to do her nails. I didn’t know this was happening bc my daughter is shy and timid until after the fact. When we got home she told me what happened. They have a strict policy on no refunds they will fix it. So we went back the next day and asked them to correct it I don’t want the lady that did it before bc she tried to argue that she did ask my daughter what she wanted and did that but the pics clearly showed that she did nothing like the pic she said she could do. Poor lady who had to fix the rude lady’s mistakes was super sweet but even then her nails was NOT worth the $65 charge period. We won’t be going back after this experience. The rude lady even continued to have an annoyed look while we were there which was so unprofessional and classless.

Felt rushed, my pedicurist was very nice and took her time but as the salon filled up there was a sense of stress. My gel manicure turned into a very very quick polish change that was a bit messy. Came home and cleaned up the sides and it looks better now but kind of disappointed.

Dave did a great job pampering me😊. Nice, clean shop. Will definitely return.

Honestly, I wont go to another nail spa in Denton. The staff is very professional and friendly. Paula is amazing with designs!

I asked for square coffin and I got very rounded nails. I mentioned one was crooked and it was never corrected. Very lumpy, edges are very messy, and he cut me on my cuticle. This was immediately after I walked out. I really wish I could get my money back.

Had these special requests done and I LOVE THEM!!! They not only had a great atmosphere, the salon was gorgeous, and They offered both me and my husband drinks while he watched the Cowboys game😁The only reason I didnt give 5 is they were a bit on the pricey side at $95+ tip and several of the stones are falling off but I will definitely will be going back

I have been going to Happy Nail Spa since 2006. I have only gone to 2 other places over the years and let me tell you I regretted it. I am 100% loyal now. I had to learn my lesson the hard way. 😂 Linda is amazing and so is Tommy. But I’ve gotten my nails done by them all and have never been unhappy. I highly recommend them!!

I love happy nail spa! I go here every time. Believe me, I’ve shopped around and been many other places. They’re not only the cheapest, but the quality is always the best from them. It’s a win-win! They recently remodeled and it looks so much nicer!

Dave was awesome did a great job, after just having a baby and needing a little me time he definitely didn’t make me feel like just a number they were super busy and he still took the time to do a great job.I definitely will be coming back very soon and bring my mom next time with me. Also quick tip mornings are the best time to come super quiet and calm and peaceful!

Their prices are unbeatable and so is the quality. I also love the warm towel treatment included w the dip manicure service!!

Wonderful pedicure but my nails was done by another person and she rushed I had to go back to have them fix my nails. The clear coat on top was uneven and lumpy I sent 100$. After going back they are still uneven and lumpy 😡

I have gone three times now to Happy Nail spa for Pedicure, Dip Nails and and eyebrow wax. Dave and his staff are always friendly and welcoming. I never have to wait and I am always happy with the end result! It is a quiet and relaxing environment and I always enjoy coming back. I highly recommend this nail spa!

The best service I’ve had since 2 months ago! My nail tech was extremely careful with my nails and was super focused! She is very good at nail art and she makes sure her work area is clean before the next person! The place is super nice and decorated very nicely. I also got a pedicure and it was very nice and relaxing and the lady giving my massage was super good at it! I’m coming back with my friend soon and to introduce her to this place!

Henry is the best at pedicures, he gives phenomenal massages. If you constantly work on your feet all day, he rejuvenates your tired legs and feet! He’s personable, but will let you relax when needed. Everyone here is very accommodating and nice😁

I was super nervous at first being that I am new in Texas and it’s been difficult trying to find a great nail shop but my nails turned out way better then I expected! I am so happy and will be going back!

Everytime i go in there . i feel welcome and they kniw me and know what i like i usually get the same two people . i can even go in on my lunch hour and they make time for me they are awesome

This afternoon and it was extremely busy but they didn’t take a long time to finish and when they finished my nail tech asked me to go to her desk and she worked on my nails right away. They had amazing service and they are very polite and it’s not a bad price for a manicure! It’s very clean and the restroom is outstanding like it is brand new, all the nail techs were very joyful and they make sure they do their job to perfection! I didn’t think much about anything because I was in a rush but when I got in I was very impressed. I’m definitely coming back when I have the time.

This place was out of my range of expectation, super nice and peaceful and extremely clean! I got a deluxe pedicure and it was so nice and I was just what I needed from a long night shift and I actually fell asleep in the salon chair because of how relaxing the massage was. I had never fell asleep at any salon but now I officially had and can say, I’m coming back to do my nails!

This was my 4th going here and they impressed me like always and I have finally agreed to give them 5 stars! They staff was extremely kind and the costumer service was great like always! Also, it’s always clean, the nail techs are always joyful and I and the vibe is very calm and peaceful and I am coming back for sure!

So, I love my nails but I hated the tech who did them. He was extremely rude and acted as if he knew better than the rest. I was irritated and the tech who was doing my roommates nails kept looking over at me to make sure I was chill. I am giving it a 3 stars because although I love my nails, his hospitality was there. No welcoming greetings or anything.

INFECTION INFECTION INFECTION!!! I went to visit my sister and I had my nails done at this place. Within 2 days my toe got red and is started getting warm and infected. Terrible. I would not recommend.

This is review is for yesterday, this place is very good with nail art and my nail tech knew how to do designs hands down! I wanted to get nails with some flowers with diamonds on them and she made my nails look exactly like the photo I showed her! My tech was very nice to me she talked to me and I felt so relaxed!

Used to come here in college all the time and I still come back once a month to get nexgen. They’ve always done beautiful nails for me and are super friendly. For a while I went to a nail salon in Plano, but they totally screwed up my natural nails so of course I had to come back to Happy Nail Spa where they always do a great job. Love this place!

Unassuming, unexpected and thoroughly relaxing. I enjoyed the spa-like atmosphere and the pedicure massage chair is by far the best one Ive experienced in this area. Ive been trying nail shops from Frisco to Little Elm to Crossroads to Denton trying to find a place that takes my experience a seriously as I take the money Im spending there. If youre thinking about giving it a try ,definitely do! Kims pedicure was relaxing - not rough or rushed like many other places. I didnt catch the name of the gentleman who did my nails but this is the happiest Ive been with them in a long time.

Everywhere I go, I get complements on my nails. It does not matter who has done my nails in the salon as everyone is excellent. They make it feel personal and welcoming during your visit. This is the place to have stylish and classy manicures and pedicures.

Went here a few days ago and I have finally decided to give this place a review! Costumer service was on point to say the least they were extremely patient with me and my friend and didn’t rush me! I’ve never been to a place where I never felt un-rushed and couldn’t relax because of it, but this place it felt like I was at home! The massage chairs are amazing and the pedicure was very nice and relaxing.

Staff will offer beverages and Red wine, White wine and Mimosas...good service & best nails.I will back when I have chance. ^_^

Friendly, courteous and my nails look fantastic!Update: I came in about 2 weeks ago and Paula did my nails...horrible job. She barely smoothed them which because they were wet, wasnt as noticeable, but they have indentations where she didnt file the top of the nail and they also have rough sides because she didnt file the sides at all. I asked her to paint a stripe down the middle of each nail, which I was charged an extra $10 for and she didnt use a guide or template and did it freehand. They look so bad. Multiple times, she spoke with the woman next to her in a different language all while exchanging looks between me and the tech sitting next to her, this made me feel as if she was talking about me, right in my face. It took her forever to do my nails and I just wanted to get out of there because I felt so uncomfortable being talked about. She clearly needs more practice as she cut my cuticles on 3 different fingers, one of which got infected. The gentleman that did my nails the first time was so wonderful and the second guy was okay. My 3rd visit however, was the worst nail experience I have had and it is the reason I wont return.

This place was the best salon I been to in Denton! When I walked in I was greeted right away and didn’t have to wait, I got nexgen and the person doing my nails was very polite and gentle. When I got to the table they asked me if I wanted a drink right away, I was very surprised how everything was arranged and it wasn’t just laying around! The costumer service I got was amazing I didn’t expect it to be that good! Very nice staff and the place was beautiful and the colors made it so relaxing! I recommend this place over all the other places!

Henry is awesome, does a wonderful job and knows how to use a drill! Had Elite Spa and nails turn me away because I refused to soak them off in acetone. Perhaps they can learn from some true professionals like Happy nail. Top notch

Henry i believe is his name, He sits at station 8 is always fabulous. He is always super friendly and i get tons of compliments on my nails. I also always get fabulous pedicures. No matter who i get, I know my feet are going to get pampered and be pretty when i leave.

I have been twice for a manicure. Every time , the same male has done my manicure. My most recent experience, the manicurist was clearly irritated by me and did not apply my application appropriately. When my nails chipped days later, I returned and this guy.... he wouldnt even take his ear buds out of his ears to fix his previous job, which was his fault. I wont return.

If I could rate this place a ZERO I would. They do not followed instructions AT ALL. They have horrible customer service, EVEN THE MANAGERS. They cause excruciating pain to my nails. I got my nails done and the man injured my nail and they were loudly trying to tell me that I hit my nail somewhere and that it was all my fault. They weren’t trying to take responsibility for their bad products / services. They make very rude comments most of the time, but this time I could no longer let it slide. The manager was being very rough with my injured nail as well. They will not be receiving another penny from me.

I went in to happy nail for a gel french tip manicure and ended up completely dissatisfied. The woman doing my nails was clearly in a hurry and did not care to make my nails look decent. My nails looked as if the french tip was done by my 5 year old cousin. All my nails are a different shape and the french tip are all a different size. I do not recommend coming here at all as you can tell they only care about making a profit and not the quality of their work.

If I could I would leave this place 0 stars. The lady expected me to know most about how to do my nails. I’m supposed to be able to relax and you do the nails right. I did not like this place at all and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Very disappointed in the service here. I decided to try a new nail salon in Denton (bad decision) and scheduled an appointment. I was told they were able to do a marble nail design, however the lady doing the design had no clue what she was doing. Furthermore, she tried to use my nails being “too short” as an excuse on why she couldn’t do the design. I wish they would have said they weren’t able to execute the design before I decided to come here (because that was the main reason I decided to get my nails done at this salon). In addition, the man who did the rest of my nails did not clean up underneath my nail until I complained about it. Also, he failed to tell me that there will be additional cost until after my nails were done. I was excited to try a new place but was very disappointed by the service offered here and the lack of communication. I would not recommend going to this nail salon!

I went to this salon for 3 years, always had good experience and good job on nails. Then there were personnel changes, new nail technicians did poor job, argued with me about what color I was using and how I wanted my nails done, cut my cuticles when they drilled my nails with the Dremel. They havent painted or cleaned their shop in years. Sacks of stuff line the walls behind the nail tables, walls are dirty, ultra violet light machines are dirty, table tops are dirty, people are rude. I was a regular every 3 weeks, tipped 20% and gave $60 bonus at Christmas. One would think they would even remember my name. I havent been there for 18 months. I use Pro Nails on University now. Service & workmanship is great with Tony, prices are reasonable, shop is clean.

Henry was the so good at pedicure. I have ingrown nails and he was gentle and careful as he removed them.

The workers here are nice but, they seem way overpiced. I got a pedicure for my mom and i and spent nearly $100. Honestly the pedicure wasnt worth that much. They didnt even do a full pedicure. Just lotion,a light massage,the foot rinse and the nails.

Despite , all of the rude comments that people post. I have to say that everytime I come here I get a GREAT service! The first time I got ma nails done! One of then broke when I hit a table in my friends house (this was on a Sunday) & I couldnt the next day. I went on the following Monday; so a week after & I told them what had happen & they fix it! & didnt even charge me! I was very surprised! & also Super Happy!I really like this nail salon & I recommend it A LOT! Currently, I have Acrylic nails on & Ive been having this nails on for a month + a week already! So am very happy with this place!!😍👌🏾

I have gone here for years! I see Lynda and I am never disappointed. They also do a fabulous job on pedicures. They make sure everything is satisfactory. Nails stay on a long time, weather I get nexgen or just gel.

Before I came to this place I had red dip nails with tips on them, but they had grown out so I wanted a new set. I went here because I’m new to Denton and wanted to try it out.However.... the person that ended up working on my nails didn’t remove the previous fake tips... he just took off the color and worked on top of old fake nails which is not good for them at all.Upon leaving I noticed that the underneaths of my nails were sloppy, jagged, filled with nail dust, and there is glue everywhere.I won’t be back.

Happy Nails is okay if you go way before closing time. I will say that an appointment is pointless, I had a 4:00 appointment made and when I showed up, there was no one ready to assist me. I waited 45 minutes with my feet in cold water and they couldnt even apologize. I will say that the first two times that I went, I was very happy with my nails and how long they lasted. But I had too many visits where my nails would chip the next day, my nails would not be even, my nails wouldnt be painted fully, it just got very disappointing very fast. It is a hit and miss place, some days you might get good services but for the most part you would do better somewhere else.

Went in for a pedicure with gel that cost me $60 dollars for the worse pedicure I’d ever had. Used gel on my toes and 2 of my toes were chipped off within an hour of leaving. Went back to get them fixed the same day and they just ended up looking even worse. Went to another salon and had to pay for another full pedicure!

The people were very rude. My lady took a personal phone call while she was doing my pedicure. It was very rushed. When I went to pay.. I had a gift certificate and I was going to tip on my card and one of the ladys said you dont have cash? Im sorry but that is very rude to ask. This was my first time coming and I wasnt very impressed. Good luck if you do plan on coming here.

Shop needs a upgrade. Appears they reuse tools without sanitation. Had to request complete removal of prior acrylic before getting new set several times. Then thy attempted to polish new color with complete removal of prior color. OMG. I should have removed all polish and acrylic prior to coming in.

I went in to get gel nails taken off that I got at a different salon for a friends wedding. I only wanted them off, and no manicure or polish. The nail tech had a hard time understanding why Id want that, but they eventually agreed. Halfway through, they told me they werent gel nails, and then asked how much I paid to get them done. I wasnt sure if they were complementing the job, or dissing it. The nail tech then took a dremel to my nails and filed stuff off. They did an awful job. Im peeling layers of gel (and possibly layers of my nails) off, and you can see it. My nails look gross (see pictures). I wont be going back to them. I had a bad experience. I would go somewhere else to have them fix it, but I dont have ANOTHER $10-15 to get them fixed.

Have been going for 2 years, went great until I got Plantars Warts! Spent a couple thousand on a podiatrist to treat my feet. I had to literally have layers of my foot beds peeled off weekly. I dont use public showers or go to the gym. My podiatrist told me it probably came for unsanitary tools and conditions at a nail salon.When I explained to the owner I was told they were not responsible! I didnt want them to pay for my treatment as I have great insurance but an apology would have been sufficient!

It was my first time here and the minute I sat down they were already getting rude with me because they kept talking low and I couldn’t hear them when they were choosing to whisper basically. Then my nail lady got mad because I asked for diamonds, as if I’m not going to pay for them. I wasn’t fully statisfied with my service. Wouldn’t recommend them. They’re prices are high considering they don’t do well at all.
