We had signed up for their 3-day trial classes, I was pretty interested in finding an activity that would help her with her confidence since my 4-year-old daughter is really shy. In just those 3 days Ive seen a small change and she really liked it. She keeps asking me when we are gonna go back.

Very pleased with this place. The instructors as well as the Black Belts who mentor younger belts are very helpful. Over the last year, we have seen our 8 yr old boy grow in confidence, and discipline. His balance has also significantly improved. TMA has been very careful in ensuring all students wear masks and keep the place clean and sanitized. Parents may wait outside in their cars to minimize # of people inside and can see the kids practice via zoom. They communicate very well and keep us updated on our childs progress frequently. We are now considering our 7 yr old girl to join the belt program. We are very thankful that they request and ensure that all students wear masks. It is very difficult to ensure kids maintain adequate social distancing. Masks sure reduce the risk and we are very thankful.

My kids started TMA a couple of months ago and they really enjoy the classes and the experience. Though they are still white belts, they can’t wait for the next level!!I love the core values it teaches and the instructors are very helpful and patient with my beginners!

Great for kids. This was our second place to try and this was far superior to the other place we had tried. They really take their time with each child and break them into groups. I haven’t seen my little one so engaged before and he is really enjoying it and looks forward to going each week. Highly recommended.

Our son completed his three day trial and after two days made the decision to continue his classes. I am impressed with the encouragement the staff gives the beginners and the topic of respect is taught! Staff also communicates very well, not just with the parents but asks feedback of the students also.

We brought our oldest in for a trial class and he loved it so much we have decided to sign him up! The instructors and staff were all very friendly and great with the kids.Im not a fan of them making the children wear masks while they are on the mat exerting themselves physically, especially when they are already 6ft. apart from each other, but we did enjoy our experience so we are going to give it a shot.

We like this location as it is very clean and intimate. The instructors are amazing with the kids (ages 4 & 7) and really take their time on teaching them the foundational items. Both of my kiddos are really enjoying their time.

This place is amazing! My children enjoy going after school everyday. TMA picks them up from school, then they learn Taekwondo, do their homework or have game day. Not only do my kids have a great time learning something new, and the staff is patient and kind.

After be encouraged by my daughters counselor to get her involved in some type of extra curricular activity, specifically martial arts of some sort I called into TMA and was so pleased after discovering they had a trial class so we could give this a try without immediately being forced into a monthly tuition. My daughter went in for two trial classes and she and I both loved every second of it. I have truly enjoyed watching the instructors working with her. They are so patient and fun yet strict which is exactly what we were hoping for. We made the decision to go ahead and sign her up full time because she has not stopped talking about her lessons or asking when she gets to come back. We are so thrilled to be continuing with TMA and cannot wait to see how she flourishes and grows.

My son had an absolutely awesome experience here. He was not looking forward to class at all, because he didn’t know what to expect. We signed up for a trial program and he had a one on one lesson with the instructor and he absolutely loved it. I think that one on one lesson was exactly what he needed to get him in the spirit, instead of just jumping into a group class. He now loves coming to group class and I can see that he’s gonna love it here. The Instructors and all the staff are extremely friendly and the atmosphere is great.

My 11 yr old daughter has enjoyed her 1st month here. Shes excited to learn new moves and different ways to protect herself. As a parent I love to see the higher level teachers walking around the class and helping the kids with their form. Theres a younger teacher who is AMAZING with little ones. I found this place by accident but I’m so happy I walked in to see what it was about. When we walked in the facility it was clean and smelled nice, Ms. Ruth and Ms. Christine greeted us with open arms and showed us around as they answered questions we had about the programs that are offered. As we signed up for the program for my 7year old we met Master Yu as she would be teaching the classes with help from others highly trained in the art. It’s been 2 months now in the program and we can say we love it here and the kids have gained so much knowledge it’s not just learning movements and saying hi-ya. it’s about much more that you’d have to attend to know. My son just started classes here and its all he wants to talk about. He loves this place and is so eager to learn whats next. I have been very impressed with the patience and encouragement of the instructors as well as the incredibly robust rewards/incentives that they build in to the Little Tigers program. We love this school. Our daughter came for a birthday party and after 5 minutes of class I turned to my wife and said we are going to sign her up. 😁 We came back for the next 2 weeks and were able to take a few classes and my daughter loved it. In just 2 weeks we can see a huge difference at home with her listening and focusing. We are excited to see how much fun she will have, and the discipline she will learn over the next year.

Great place for kids to learn and grow!

Our 5 year old daughter has been to 3 classes and we can already see an improvement in her focus, respect and confidence. This is a place you want to be if youre looking for some well-taught self defense! The teachers are really friendly and know what theyre doing. Theyre also really good with kids and I have come to befriend them myself. We always have fun, and get a lot of exercise out of it as well. Its a great place to send your kids or to join in yourself! Im so glad I joined and got to make so many new friends, and Im also grateful for the classes as they have helped me with gaining more confidence and stability. I just love this place!

TMA Taekwondo is a great place. I love the atmosphere and the people here. Everyone is very welcoming, friendly, and helpful. I am excited for my classes. I know that I will learn a lot from all the Masters.

My 5 years old has been going to TMA for a month now and he loves it. They have a great rewarding system that motivates little tigers to work hard. He has a lot of fun too! The instructors (there are three or four per class) are very kind. I am glad I found this place.

This place is amazing! We came here for a birthday party and little did we know my 5yr old son would love it and wanted to join, he gets excited to come to class everyday. The staff is amazing and understanding especially when it comes to working with the little ones.

My favorite thing is that there is a class for my sons age group 5 days a week and I get to choose which ones we go to every time. That kind of flexibility makes a huge difference. Ms. Ruth does a fabulous job being patient but consistent with the little tigers class and Master Yu is a natural with the kids.

My daughter has taken two classes at TMA Tae Kwon Do and has really enjoyed herself. She has received a great workout, and is being taught respect, leadership, and self defense.

WOW! After two trial sessions my son made it known he wanted to be apart of the TMA family! He looks forward to going to his classes. We decided to try the summer program to see if our children would be interested in Tae Kwon Do long term. After just two sessions we are very impressed! Master Yu is wonderful with young people. He commands respect in a kind and compassionate manner. He not only teaches Tae Kwon Do but life skills including respect, listening, focus and confidence. Our children have already come so far, we cant wait to see where they go from here!

This place is really great. They gave us free lessons to try them out. I have a 5 and 6 year old boy and 15 and 17 year old girls and they all enjoyed them. They really seem to care about each child and how they are performing. They learned all of their names so quickly! Also very clear with what they do, schedules, information, and pricing. WOW what an amazing place!!! When my son attended a birthday party hosted by TMA Tae Kwon Do I never thought we’d be registering for classes a week later! We had tried martial arts before (and failed), so when my son decided he wanted to give it a try again I was apprehensive. I am so glad we attended a class after the party because my son immediately fell in love with Tae Kwon Do! This is not your run of the mill martial arts gym - the teachers and staff honestly care about each and every kid that walks through the door! They teach from the heart and it shows in every student that attends TMA Tae Kwon Do!

We have attended this school for over 3 years now and it is absolutely superb! Master Yu is a gold medalist and two time Korean national sparring champion. There is no better school or teacher in North Texas in my opinion!

Good place for kids to learn Tae Kwon Do. While working as a group there are several instructors that help the kids with their form and encourage them. Kids are taught to respect their instructors and each other, and that respect is reciprocated from the instructors. Family friendly, and the instructors are friendly as well.

My kids and I started lessons at TMA a year ago.Though my original intention was to enroll my kids in lesson, I ended up joining as well. Im really glad I did since in addition to all the benefits for my kids, Ive lost 30lbs and no longer get sprains from simple activities like going up stairs. I feel much stronger and healthier than I have in a while. My kids are also much more confident, and I love seeing how their skills have developed. Overall its been a wonderful experience. Master Yu and the other masters are great, and weve met a lot of awesome people since we started.

I love this place. They are so good with the kids and help them learn useful tools that will help them in life. My son has adhd and it helps him with structure and routine. Master Yu is amazing and all the other staff. Just a wonderful place.
