I was in the middle of a McGuyver project, connecting a vacuum pump to a rotating shaft. I turned up with the random fitting for one end, and a sealed bearing that was going to be the other.I was expecting somewhere that supplies professionals to take one look and laugh. Instead, they really got into it, chasing around their ridiculously extensive stock and coming up with lots of ideas. In the end I walked out with the perfect connection. Thank you.
