So far so good only been here a week so this may change lol. However I had an issue with a girl I was moving in with and they transferred my room quick and easy and have also been really helpful with my request to move in a little early. Basic but comfy furniture, would recommend bringing a bed topper, the bedrooms have a lot of space and all the appliances seem to be working good so far. Great first apartment if you don’t want to bring your own furniture. Also shoutout to Kaitlyn and all the other staff in the front she has been a great help these last few months prior and everyone is super friendly

DO NOT LIVE HERE. Every other month either the wifi or the AC goes out. The management in the office changes every year and no one has any idea what is actually going on.Only once did someone come change the air filter in the three year of me living there. So the whole apartment is constantly dusty. There has been multiple fights at the pool area to the point were there have been guns at the pool. When moving out they charge a cleaning fee even though someone came and cleaned the apartment for me. Please never live here it is such a waste of money and you could pay the same to live in a much nicer place

This apartment complex has serious management issues. I have lived here for 2 years and have seen a few different managers- all of whom were unprofessional and lacked vital communication skills. This means they would avoid communicating with tenants at all costs. Literally. The staff, including the maintenance team, is very helpful and responsive. However, a company with poor management and/or leadership cannot produce acceptable services. The manager is always unavailable. And while that is not a structural problem, it becomes an issue when you have damage to your unit such as busted pipes from the winter storm or a broken toilet- which has been my experience for about 5 months. I spoke with the manager once about this issue. She kept giving different excuses for her lack of communication concerning my home. I had to harass the staff to get everything repaired. When my room was finally repaired, the crew left their tools in my room and dirt all over the room--with fresh carpet LOL. I was also given all these random miscellaneous charges following the storm. I had send an email to the manager threatening to take legal action. Of course she did not respond, but the charges were removed. These issues are okay for underclassmen who are primarily concerned with enjoying the college experience. It’s cute. For upperclassmen, graduate students or adults concerned about the real world, this complex is unsatisfactory. If you have the means to stay at another complex- take it. But please do not let these people get over on you.I also agree with the others- this complex is extremely overpriced. My roommate and I were basically paying $1600 for a cheap student apartment with musty furniture. I came and stayed because of an employee who left a few months ago. The quality of service diminished when he left. But again- the issue is not the staff.

This place is ridiculous, they charge you for electricity that was used before we even moved in, they put on a charge for a trash service that is required at the end of September but still charged us for the whole month of August and September and for some reason the electricity is extremely high, our bill from 8/15-9/15 was over $200 for our apartment. And we didn’t move in until the 21st. The manager really tries to squeeze every last cent from you.

The apartment complex is gross!! They never wash the buildings or sidewalks, except the leasing office area!! Maintenance on the appliances in the apartments never happens!! They just patch stuff up so it works for a couple weeks so they can patch it up again. When moving in the apartment it was disgusting!! It had never been cleaned before move in!! Literally it’s a nightmare to have a friend come over to visit!! They have visitor parking, but you have to register your guests on their app that never works!! If you don’t register your guest they Will tow their car!! It’s like the Gestapo!!!Would not recommend!!! Stay Away!!!

RUN AWAY!!!I should’ve known this would be a bad experience when I moved into a dirty unit after waiting almost month to move in. Then on top of that I had to live in a room infested with black mold for like 3 months because housing acted like they didn’t see my maintenance request until I threaten to file a health violation. Then they wouldn’t even reseal the widows so the mold wouldn’t grow again which resulted in multiple ants coming in my room a month later. They didn’t fix the ant problem until last month so I basically had to deal with them for my whole lease, despite the fact that I had asked them to fix it several times. They still didn’t even try to come reseal the widows, all they did was send pest control. Furthermore, my rent keeps increasing each month but I have yet to get an improved housing experience. Maintenance and management is horrible. Also there is a new problem with my apartment every month. Another thing, my granny works faster than their “high speed internet”. I honestly wish I would’ve went to 1451 or the retreat.

As I am currently not a resident of Gateway at Denton, this review comes from a biased POV. Over the past two weeks, girl-friends and other girls within the apartment complex have been harassed by another tenant of Gateway. Denton PD was informed and took matters into their own hands and can only disclose so much information. However the lack of empathy from the female manager, is alarming that she doesn’t understand that when dealing with a dangerous person such as the one who has been harassing the female tenants. Sometimes too late isn’t good enough, she has provided little to no help to my friends. And tried pushing her own personal agenda by asking one of them to renew a lease when speaking to her about discomfort and insecurities she felt within the Gateway community after the occurrences. I strongly recommend people, and particularly young women take a hard look into Gateway prior to signing a lease. As it is an appealing place to live, due to their amenities and location. however, if I had a daughter I would not feel comfortable with them living in a community that doesn’t value their safety and well being. As the manager has clearly shown she has little to no actual compassion for tenants well being, or safety. Be better.

DO NOT LIVE HERE!! SCAM APARTMENT!!!The worst apartment I have ever lived at. EXTREMELY OVERPRICED. Very, very dingy apartments with cheap carpet, cheap furniture, cheap appliances, cheap walls, and literally barely functioning WiFi. Not a safe place to live because “maintenance priority is placed on people moving in” (-quote from apartment) EVEN FOR EMERGENCIES. Water pipe broke and whole apartment began flooding. Took 3 DAYS for anyone to come. Random rent increases while at the same time taking away amenities and not following through on work orders. Also get random charges for them maintaining the apartment (fixing broken AC, and other necessary work order fees). You will be charged fees by the apartment for them to fix something that would otherwise make the apartment unlivable and you’re expected to just go live somewhere else when the apartment breaks until they come fix it days later AND THEN CHARGE YOU EXTRA FOR FIXING THE APARTMENT THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO MAKE SURE IS IN ACTUALLY LIVABLE CONDITION!! it is a SCAM to live here. BUGS are also really, really bad here. An army of ants will swarm your entire apartment if there is even a crumb anywhere. You will regret living here. Whatever you do, do not do it.

It took multiple weeks to get rid of a roommate who put their private parts on a roommate of mine. I told them about it and I was called a liar because the roommate didnt come forth so he did and they still tried to argue and took them weeks to get this belligerent roommate out. Then the front desk has had a nasty condescending attitude towards me ever since like I did wrong by sticking up for my roommate just so they would get their lazy behinds up and do something about it.

Great place to live if you want horrible WiFi and rude management! Way overpriced for how horrible this complex is. The WiFi is never working and they don’t do anything to try and fix it. When I moved in, I had a broken sink and a broken shower as well. They also failed to do a deep clean before moving in because there was still dust everywhere, a used dog bed, and wet paint. They also don’t do anything about the constant marijuana smell or noise complaints. Also, be prepared to pay way more than necessary for electricity. The dryer also has to be run a minimum of 2 times if you want your clothes to actually dry. This place is a bunch of fake advertising and I will never recommend to anyone.

This place seemed like a nice spot because it is centrally located close to the campus. I will admit they did an admirable job of pairing my roommate and I together, so no issue there. Upon my arrival however is when things just didn’t add up. Came into an apartment that had a paint job that looked like it was done by an 11 year old at best. Several paint stains on the floor and not to mention they painted over outlets. It seems they wait till last minute to get their things in order for new residents. I will say though that the maintenance staff is very quick to respond when a request is put in. Never had any issues with pests so that was a plus in itself. I know this place was under different management because she is now assistant manager. She thought she ran the place and her tone was absolutely rude every time I went to the office. The first month they will not charge you for your electricity and then the following month tack on a 60 dollar fee. This also lead to the original encounter I had with the assistant manager who exclaimed, “maybe you should be moved into a 4 bedroom instead of a 2 because you can’t afford it.” For me being a GI bill student, I’m used to living on the money I get from month to month. But, 800 dollars a month for a 2 bedroom was pretty outrageous. Now don’t get me wrong, the amenities are nice but they aren’t anything to write home about. If you can find yourself at a place where the staff is a bit more helpful and wants to treat you with respect, I’d search elsewhere. I’ve cleaned this apartment from top to bottom and I have photo evidence of everything. If I hear anything different this won’t be the last gateway will get an ear full. For any parents looking to send your kid to their first apartment; take it from someone who spent money out of their own pocket. Put your money towards someone who wants the best for your kids and doesn’t try to slip extra charges on your bill. Too many times the wool was pulled over my eyes here and I now know how an “student apartment” shouldn’t be run.

I lived here for a year, and I absolutely hated it. The manager was SO rude and disrespectful. Our apartment had paint all over our living room floor from when they repainted, and we had our counter top peeling off when we moved in. They also told us our rent was $100 less than what it really was and failed to mention that we had to pay electricity as well. They need to train the people that work there so much better so other people dont go through what we had to. I had to go to the office 7 different times to get a new gate opener, and my car got towed out of the parking spot I was supposed to BE IN. I could hear people screaming at all hours of the night through my walls, and the office never did anything about it. I do not recommend this complex. at. all.

My visit to Gateway was phenomenal. John was the leasing consultant that toured the property with me. He was very personable and accommodating. The property was clean and neatly decorated from their model to their work-out facility, and with so many amenities to offer their student demographic. Overall I was impressed with his ability to juggle incoming requests from residents while also holding my attention as a prospect. Had I been ready to lease at a student property I definitely would have, solely based on my experience this morning. I lived here for 3 years. I stayed to myself, didn’t bother anyone. I always had problems, ALWAYS. The apartments are nice, don’t get me wrong. In the three years I lived there, I had to go to the office over 15 times to get a new or fixed gate opener (and thats when I’d actually go to the office). The entire time I lived there, it never worked. It’s always loud (granted it is a college apartment complex). My bathroom was flooded and it was left for 3 days with the ceiling falling through, then was a 3 day “fix” job, where they left everything in the bathtub and all over the bathroom. They always come in unannounced, which is super weird. I was sleeping and had a group of people in my apartment, opening my private bedroom. Furthermore, my departure was full of drama, and the office was very unprofessional. I was quite disappointed, since I had been nothing but loyal and on-time for three years.Long story short, the actual apartments are beautiful and nice, just be prepared for the loud people above you, and the all night parties.

Gateway will try to fool you with their low prices, but do not be fooled by their exterior. The management needs to do better. The gate was always broken. The printer never worked, and neither did their crappy workout equipment. The furniture is extremely old even though they claim that every apartment would be getting new furniture. I lived there for two years and did not receive new furniture. My move out statement was $444.00 Why? because they wanted to replace a carpet that they halfway cleaned, paint my bedroom and bathroom, clean my bedroom and bathroom which were already cleaned. They also wanted to charge me $35 for a parking sticker even though I asked for another one after my car was totaled in February. They told me that I would have to buy another one and that I couldnt pay it on top of my rent. I parked in visitors parking for 3 months, and they still want to charge me, even though the sticker is now expired. Then they said if I didnt pay that ridiculous amount that they would send it to a credit agency! Dont be fooled now, or they will try to charge you later.

Was a UNT student who recently graduated. This apartment is horrible. First day I moved in, they guaranteed me a flat 596 rate with three other roommates. I get my bill, rent is 650. Shouldn’t be worth that either because they guaranteed me a clean and functional unit that wasn’t clean or functional. Microwave was broken, kitchen was a mess, floor boards messed up, dust and spots on everything! Patio filled with wasp nests. Went to try to tell the staff the issue since they guarantee you at least a functional space. They apologized about it and said they’d get someone up there to fix and clean the apartment. Staff did not ever show up. Don’t bother with roommate matching. They do not care. They put me with a 50 year old man who wouldn’t clean up his mess and had some sketchy behavior. Had my mother to visit over and he wouldn’t stop creeping on her and her business. Mail is always received late or not at all. Staff doesn’t mind just handing out any packages. Staff is not friendly and will not attempt to help you with anything. I’ve stopped getting mail here for security reasons. You do not need ID to get any package from the office. The day my husband and I went to the leasing office to try and resolve my problem the manager said Im leaving. My associate can handle your problem. She didnt care to even LISTEN to what our problem was. Also, They say that your wifi is included but they dont tell you that you have to buy your own router and hook it up. Thirdly, the month that I moved in my bathtub wasnt draining. I had to shower with cold, dirty shower water at my feet. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. Do not sign a lease at this property. Staff is uninformed and unprofessional. Rarely willing to help in rough situations. I once had a table break in my unit and they told me that to replace it that it would be $150. I found a sheet with prices for replacement furniture items that was actually $50 less than what they had told me. When I confronted them, they continued to make up prices and not to mention I was without a coffee table for two weeks. Oh and the best part is that my apartment unit has flooded 5 TIMES in the short two years I have stayed there. Personal belongings have been ruined and my roommate could not move in on the move-in date for 3 days because it flooded her room as well. Management is rarely available to help the uninformed staff in these situations and they have claimed that maintenance would come and take care of the pipes every month to avoid any more leaks. I’m currently a resident at this place, and quite frankly I’m starting to get tired of it. To be fair, I forgot to register my cat the first time I got a warning, so the second time I got a warning I had to pay the fee. HOWEVER, along with that, I had my cousins from out of town come over for a few days, and I was given a warning for having a “male occupant” in my room, and that maintenance notified them. Are we not allowed to have visitors? Maintenance also open your bedroom door if you’re not there just to check if you’re even in the unit when they’re about to make a repair. They also don’t listen to your roommate matching answers. As I mentioned, I have a cat, and they put someone who is EXTREMELY allergic to cats in my unit and are now asking me to remove my cat. I called to address the situation, and they said they were already working on it and that they would call me at the end of the day, which they haven’t. I don’t understand why they would assign people who can’t have pets around at all, with me. The place is overall nice, and the staff can be helpful, but when it comes to the residents all they care about is charging you or trying to get you to pay for everything little thing.

Gateway was a complete joke. It seems like a great place to live to the average student, but thats where they get you -- because students tend not to know any better. After you move out, they overcharge you for the smallest things and claim you have all these damages; however, their apartments are such poor quality, that this is probably why. Unfortunately, I lived there for 2 years because I was on a budget, but I would never recommend living here to anyone else. The only factor that made me want to continue living here was the bus shuttle because it was the most convenient -- being the first to pick up and first to drop off.

I really only have two negatives: I didnt find out who my roommates were officially until about a week before moving in which is not convenient. Ive had some problems with the office recently. I love gateway and I love living here my apartment is great and so are the facilities etc, but the staff/management has gone downhill since last year. Lately if I go into the office half the time the staff isnt too friendly or helpful, not at all friendly compared to staff in the past. Im disappointed with how they handled a situation recently, I was supposed to get x amount of money for referring people but instead of having cards to put the money on (like I was told they would last year when I referred people as well as a couple weeks ago when I asked in the office) they applied the money to my rent instead without telling me. Not a huge deal money wise but I was annoyed that they tried to cover their mistake by saying it was never an option to get a card (despite the fact that my roommates got cards when I referred them..) Multiple staff members told me it was, last year and recently, so either there was a very very large miscommunication or they were unprepared and handled it poorly.

I recently had an emergency maintenance issue and the response and fixing of the situation (which was not due to neglect by myself/management) were handled superbly. Gateway has been great because it keeps me close to my work and is just a quick bus ride over to campus. Management just upgraded the internet (Nov. 2016) and cable packages to be MUCH better! This place is definitely a comfortable and convenient place to live!

My experience living at Gateway was pleasant for the most part. The apartments are clean, fairly spacious, and fully furnished. Maintenance is kind and generally on top of things - I rarely had to wait more than a day for something to be fixed. Noise was generally not a problem but there is a pool, and during the summer people tend to be a little louder. I never had an issue finding a parking spot, but just know that covered spots (that are your specific space) are extra. The security gate is a nice feature but was frequently stuck open, sort of defying the purpose. However, some of that is not Gateways fault - the box where you can type in a code to get in was run over more than once during the six months I lived there. When I moved out, I did a reasonably good job cleaning the apartment around my roommates mess and was not charged for anything on the final move-out statement. When they say they are under new management, thats no joke - judging by the previous reviews, the previous management was a nightmare. The people working there now are helpful, kind, and understanding. The few complaints I have about Gateway are minor. One is that when you first move in, they do not give you an introductory tour or any information about how the pool, mailboxes, emergency button, and workout facility work. They just handed me my keys and parking sticker and sent me off, which was a little frustrating when I realized I had no idea how things worked. My other complaint is that they allow people to park on the street outside the apartment, which is very irritating as there is 1) not really room on that two-way street for people to do that and 2) a no parking sign right there. Despite the fact that there is a visitors parking lot and visitors spaces inside the gate, people still parked there and obstructed traffic. If they had done better regulating these things, my experience would have been five stars.

I did a whole yelp review so I wont post too too much here but please find somewhere else to live. When I moved in the apartments were dirty. Management and the staff are rude. I moved out on July 30th, 2019. I was told my last electric bill would be posted on August 1st, 2019 and it was not. I called 3 different times to see how much. Yesterday (August 6th, 2019) the front staff got the assistant manager on the phone to tell me that they were charging me an extra $100 for a cleaning fee for my ceiling fan and because I missed a spot on my carpet and that I had a hole in the wall. The hole was there when I moved in and I made note of it. They tried to come up with some ridiculous prices on the end like I knew they would try to because of my yelp review. Every time I went to the office only 1 person (if he was there) was kind and tried to help everyone else looked at me as if I was bothering them. I paid way too much to be treated terribly. Also different things in the apartment were broken. The parking was terrible unless you had a reserved spot. They took forever to put my mail in the box and most of the time would not put it in there unless I asked them several times. There were also a lot of car break-ins that they would email us about. The gates were often messed up so I see why people could break in so easily. Just all around not a safe place and not a good environment. So glad I will not be living at Gateway this coming up semester and the semesters to follow.

Pros - Gated complex which adds to security, internet is great, everything besides electricity is included in rent price.Cons - lots of noise depending on roommates/neighbors (if you prefer a quiet household/ if youre a light sleeper, avoid this place at all costs.)It feels like they try to get as much money out of you as they possibly can, If you end up having to sublease they make you pay 85% of the next months rent. (I dont know if this is a normal thing with other apartments as its my first time here in Denton.)When I signed my lease I was charged $600 after being promised $550 because apparently in the week that I waited, they had signed so many leases that the manager decided to give us a nice welcome by raising my rent price to $50 extra dollars a month.Electricity is around $50-$70 give or take. so $650-670 (Even more if your rent is higher)The earlier you sign your lease the bigger your chance of being on the first floor but as i said if youre a light sleeper or dont like lots of noise this could hurt you more than help you.

If you are thinking of moving here, RUN away. The managers are rude and tried to charge me when I left for unnecessary things. The pool was always dirty and they try to find a way to charge you on everything, it’s ridiculous. The gate didn’t work half the time as promised so don’t just walk away. RUN

I love the size of the apartments themselves. Bedroom B is laid out weird to where it is really hard to fit everything in there and still have room to walk around and not be cramped like youre in a private dorm room. Also the parking can suck at times, however, if you dont go anywhere at night yourre fine. If all the 4x4 bedrooms were the same size it would be perfect. That being said, I do love living at Gateway.

Management does a terrible job of screening and matching potential roommates. Then when the match goes down the drain, they try to charge you $200 to move within the complex. Secondly, they are uber-aggressive in trying to tow tenant vehicles. My daughter has a brand new car with a temporary license plate. They kept making her renew her temporary parking permit while we waited 8+ weeks for her permanent license plates to be mailed. They actually towed her car from a legal parking spot with a valid parking permit. DO NOT RENT HERE.

I like living at Gateway. I wasnt going to post a review but after reading some of these I felt I needed to give a good word to Gateway and its staff. The first year I lived here, my bestfriend and I had a ridiculous request to be placed in a 4x4 with randoms on the first floor, by the bus stop if they had two rooms available and somehow they found one and were very accommodating to us. Any time one of my random roommates put in a maintenance request (which seemed to be about once a week) they came the next morning and fixed her petty requests and the serious ones in a timely manner. Ive seen people complain on here about the internet being bad, but its bad at nearly every apartment you go to so this isnt news. The staff is really nice, the guys in the office are always willing to help and give you a good experience at Gateway. And yes, they use the ID system if you want to receive your package but if they know who you are they wont make you do it every time which I think is a personal thing.I decided to move in with a friend of mine who also lived in the complex so we downsized to a 2x2 and they were accommodating again and we didnt have to break our lease to move early we just transferred and we are in the process of getting new furniture because the one we moved into had either no furniture or old furniture and they are giving us brand new couches and tables and bar stools. Included with this, since we renewed our leases again they gave us a nice deal for staying at Gateway longer. There are always going to be pros and cons to apartment complexs, there is never such thing as a perfect complex. But Gateway strives to make their place welcoming and as good as it can be so I appreciate their efforts which is why I renewed my lease. Their pros outweigh the cons and at the end of the day it is one of the better student living apartment complexs you can stay at in Denton.Side note: they dont control the towing company, they come out on their own so if you have issues with your car being towed, you should take that up with the towing company not Gateway because they usually dont have anything to do with that.

Ive lived at Gateway for the last two years, and its been pretty great. It IS off-campus student housing, so theres gonna be the usual rowdy college kids, but the residence itself is nice. Maintenance requests are taken care of quickly and theres a bus stop going to campus right by it. The only big complaints I had revolved around packages and delivery. Theres no guarantee youll get your packages day of. You might also have to go in and ask them to look in the back for you. But thats all pretty minor stuff! Live here. : ) You wont regret it.

Gateway is decent, the rooms are okay, the restrooms are a good size. However $595 (not including electric bill) for one room in a 3 bedroom apartment is a bit too much. You can find cheaper alternatives. It was not worth me paying that amount. The gym was pretty raggedy, most of the equipment does not work, a good amount of the computers do not work and printing was unavailable for a couple of weeks. There were some issues with the gates, they were open most of the time, so anyone could basically come in. Sometimes the staff was no help. Visiting parking is limited and tow trucks come often. The carpet just seemed very used and you can tell it hasnt been changed in a couple of years. The biggest con was that the Internet was HORRIBLE, too slow at random times of the day. I would just skip out on Gateway. The model apartment they show you at the beginning is what sold me however, keep in mind that is not what they will look like.

Im seeing some of the good comments are people who actually work there. Let me say, I absolutely hated living here. Just a few things: the pool had broken glass on two occasions, tow trucks drive through every night and if youre parked in the wrong spot you will be towed, and the furniture is damaged when you first move in. My toilet wasnt flushing for almost two and a half weeks and they sent no one. So from now on, any time I hear that someone is moving into an apartment in Denton I stear them as far away from Gateway as I possibly can.

Not only was my apartment EXTREMELY dirty when I moved in, but we also had NO hot water on move in day, broken glass on our balcony, feces in our toilet, and rotten food in our fridge. There was also broken furniture inside our apartment, dog/cat hair on our couch, and cigarette burn holes in our couch as well. The apartment look like it had not been cleaned in months. Moving forward we realized our cable outlet did not work, and still does not work to this day, and personally, my door will not stay closed unless I lock it. Finally, I rent a 4x4 apartment and after ONE person takes a 15 minute shower, we must wait OVER AN HOUR to recieve hot water again. When this complaint was brought up to management, they simply told us there’s nothing they could and left us to deal with this issue alone. This is why I do not recommend this apartment unless it’s absolutely necessary. The only convenience is that it is the second stop from the Union.

I like it here. It has a bus for UNT students && the price is about the same as other apartments. I live in a 2 bed && we dont have any pest problems. As long as you pay your rent on time you dont have to stress about the crappy late fees. The only reason I wont be living here next year is because I want my own place to decorate.

I have nothing bad to say about gateway except for the wifi. but youre going to have a bad wifi connection anywhere you live. Staff is very nice, packages are delivered efficiently, and amenities are very nice. I live right next to the office so I love the placement of my apartment. The only thing is that people will play basketball at 3am on a Tuesday night... My bedroom is on the bottom floor right next to the basketball court. (I mean literally, 15-20 feet away.) other than that, GREAT place. I will be here another year. 😄

Disclaimer: this is MY experience, everyone will have their own experience not saying this all will happen to you. The past year living at Gateway has been a complete disappointment. To start off, the day we moved in... it was not cleaned when they said it would be which is why we were paying for the full months rent of August. To add on to that not only did our apartment have an infestation of bed bugs, the management was rude and unprepared for the matter. It took me and my three roommates going into the office and demanding they look at our apartment. It cost me over 800$ to buy a new mattress topper, comforter, pillows, pillow cases, i had to throw away a lot of my wall decorations because bed bugs can nest just about anywhere... i also had medical bills because the bites i got from the bugs were enough to cover my body from head to toe. ( Gross.. i know! I still have scars from the bites.)To add to the list of things, the people who worked in the office were always extremely disrespectful and rude. For example, yesterday I called on my way home from work to ask a quick question about moving out. After the 5th time calling someone finally answered but when I asked the question they hug up on me. So I ended up going to the office. When I walked in two employees were sitting having a conversation and didnt stop their conversation to ask what I needed, they simply just looked at me and went back to talking. Finally someone else came out and helped me. The last thing ill mention, (if i mentioned everything this would be a novel.) As someone who works 40+ hrs a week sometimes i get home at night and i have to park on the opposite side of where my apartment is and walk in the dark alone. There is not enough lighting around the complex at all. Living here has been enough of a nightmare for me and I felt i needed to write this just as a warning. This complex needs a lot of work and it is definitely not worth the 580$ or so that i pay a month. The one positive thing i have to say is that maintenance was amazing. They were always super kind and had things fixed in a timely matter. Good job maintenance!!!

This place is cheap for a reason. They scam you out of half the amenities they promise, they split the electricity by the ENTIRE apartment building--NOT just by your one apartment. So, even if you and your roommates are arguing over who left the light on because you want your electricity bill to not be $30 every month, TOO BAD. They didnt let us know this until half way through us living there. Not only that, when we called to confirm after we found out we kept hearing different things about how it wasnt true but it was. Management is clearly keeping some staff uninformed. The apartments have janky appliances, and everything seems to break constantly. Ive heard of at least 5 different people who said their glass coffee table shattered. FIVE. Not to mention how RUDE management is. I mean EXTREMELY RUDE. They just kept sending me down rabbit holes whenever I had a problem.
