WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS! THIEVES! I never post but felt I really needed to on this horrible experience. I used Lifetimes service a couple of weeks ago. Rebecca gave me a quote over the phone of around $1045... to remove house full of furniture which she assured me would all fit into the truck, clean out and discard the kitchen cabinets, and bring some items to another address. Two men showed up with a small truck. They could only fit half of the house removal and they were so slow, they moved like turtles. Rebecca said they would have to come back for another load and charge me for another full truck!! She charged by the hour for the two men and not according to the quote she gave me on the phone which she presented as a flat rate...it began to make total sense since they moved like turtles...and they never even cleaned out any of the kitchen cabinets!!! All this and they upped the cost from $1045 to $1300 ...cause they charged by the hour for the two very slow men....When I called Rebecca immediately to express frustration with this ordeal..she was RUDE and said I needed to read the small print on the contract... I explained I was going by her word and what she promised me over the phone...when I get a notification on my phone that there was a charge on my Amex for around $1300...She charged my card while on the phone with me to ensure she got her payment before I could report them and stop payment. I am still going to pursue a chargeback. THEY ARE CROOKS. She wanted to charge me an additional $1300 OR MORE to go back and remove the rest of the stuff and THEY NEVER EVEN GOT TO THE CABINETS which was part of the deal! Had they gone back to get half of the rest of the stuff remaining and clean out the cabinets with the very slow men...this entire job would have been $3000 or more! To remove junk! HORRIBLE BUSINESS! HORRIBLE OWNER! CROOKS!

Rebecca answered the phone each and every time I called No recording and that alone was a big factor in why I hired them! I had do schedule this remotely from NY to a Florida move and they didnt the job promptly and professionally and super courteous! I do not hestitate in giving them 5 stars! H from NY

From beginning to end I had an excellent experience with Lifetime. Rebecca, the owner was very accommodating and professional. The movers showed up right on time and did their jobs efficiently and quickly. The were flexible to our needs and had a sense of humor. I used them for cleaning out a house after my Mother died. I would strongly recommend them for doing that type of work.

I hired this company after my husband passed away to clear out some items I no longer needed as I was moving to a smaller place. They were great from the moment I called through the entire experience. They were able to donate some furniture I was getting rid of and sent me a tax receipt after. I was so happy with the guys that came to help, I hired them to help me pack and then to move me to my new place. They wrapped everything carefully in blankets and stretch wrap and helped me unpack everything! I would definitely recommend this family owned company. They give great service and are very reasonably priced.

I was in a bind; my new refrigerator and stove had been delivered but the delivery guy wasn’t able to remove the old appliances. He left the new appliances in my living room and the old ones still in the kitchen AND the next day was Easter! I found Lifetime online and took a chance. I called and spoke with Rebecca who was eager to help me. She called her guys, and got back to me in less than 5 minutes; she told me that they had just finished work for the day but were willing to come and help me. Michael and Matt showed up about 10 minutes later - angels in a yellow truck. They had the stove out in 5 minutes despite some issues with the flooring and then got the refrigerator out as well. They then moved my new appliances and installed them in the kitchen. They did all of this with skill and consideration and pleasant and positive attitudes. I would definitely use Lifetime again and highly recommend them!

If I could give this company zero stars I would. The reason I chose them was because I had a good experience when I used them a couple of years ago.First, we asked them to be there at 9:30 to help us with our move. I called Rebecca at 9:45 to see if she knew where they were, she told me she would find out and call me back. She never called me back and eventually they showed up at 10, no apology, no excuse, no realization that there were even late.Second, because they were late I told them not to worry about wrapping up all the furniture because it would take too much time. One of the 2 movers asked if I was sure because my stuff might get dusty, I said dont worry about it, the only furniture I want you to take care of is the baby stuff as it is brand new.After a very generous tip and a day of settling in, we realized that most of our furniture was damaged INCLUDING the baby furniture which I specifically asked to be cared for. So I called and e-mailed Rebecca back with pictures of the damage and explained to her that I take full responsibility for all of the furniture but the brand new baby furniture (crib and changing table) is visibly damaged beyond repair and the baby swing doesnt work anymore. I told her I can provide receipts as it is all new. She e-mailed me back and said that her movers were told by my husband to get everything in the truck as quickly as possible and not to wrap anything up. This was clearly a lie because it was I who stopped the mover from unrolling the packaging and told him not to worry about anything except the baby furniture-also Rebecca, you werent present for the move. I called her back and explained the situation a second time and said I am completely responsible for all the furniture that is damaged but not the baby furniture. She told me she would send it to her damages team who I am assuming is her husband because it is a family owned business and get back to me on Monday. On Monday I received an e-mail stating that they would only reimburse me $100 (for a brand new crib, changing table and swing). I replied that her compensation and customer service was pitiful but I will take what I can and would she be reimbursing the card used for the deposit or the card used to make a payment. She never replied, after 4 more attempts at reaching out to her and I never received the refund.Rebecca, you and your family run business should be ashamed of the way you conduct yourselves and your business. as a front line worker in the middle of a pandemic I would expect an ounce more of compassion and loyalty to paying customersUpdate:You finally issued a $100 refund of the $900 we paid on 5/2-almost a month later. But that’s not before you wrote me an e-mail telling me that you would only issue a refund IF I write an e-mail stating I would not request a chargeback and I would stop “bad mouthing” your company.” Well I’m not bad mouthing your company, I’m simply stating the factsof what happened with zero embellishment. Plus that’s extortion.Simply the fact that your response to me about “my landlord” requesting we be out on time proves you’re lying and that you’re misunderstanding what happened-because once again you weren’t there, you’re simply going off solely what your movers told you. And the reason you’re lying is because we don’t have a landlord, we owned the place, so while I appreciate your creative response, it’s false. And once again, I completely agree that I told them not to bother with most of the furniture as we are buying new stuff, but I specifically asked that my baby furniture be cared for-I mean I’ll even take a lie detector test if that’s what it takes for you to stop insisting that your movers are right and I am wrong🤷🏼‍♀️

I was so pleased with how fast they removed our torn down shed. The only problem I had was that they would not remove some cement blocks and tiles that were there without charging more due to weight. I would not recommend. The experience was rather unprofessional and very disappointing, including the major damage they did to a shed which was beyond repair. The damage to the shed was absolutely their fault and responsibility and the most disheartening part was they they tried to absolve themselves from responsibility putting the blame on us.The permitting process that should have taken much less time was also a disappointment. Many excuses and when I spoke with the county directly, there were many misrepresentations in their story.Overall, a very disappointing experience. Best to find another contractor for demo work.

These guys worked super fast and efficiently. They got us into our new home super quick and worked until past midnight 😱 which we were extremely grateful for since we needed to be out of our condo.They were very accommodating of our situation (our closing on our home ran super late and they still made sure the job got done no matter the time.)Rebecca the owner was very informative and was easy to reach through the whole process.The only negative thing I have to say is that we had to make 2 trips since the truck didn’t fit everything on the first one (not their fault) and caused the move to be several hours (since we moved an hour away- that’s 4 hours driving time).Highly recommend and would use again.

Hired to remove the hurricane debris that the city wouldn’t take. They were able to schedule an appointment within 2 days of my phone call. Forgot a small bit of debris on the first go round, but contacted customer service and they corrected the error immediately. Very professional, excellent customer service. This is the best moving company in Florida. Other moving companies are very unclear about pricing and don’t seem to know what they are doing. Not this one! We had to arrange a quick move from afar, and Rebecca was, as others have said, fantastic. I called Got Junk, College Hunks, and a few other movers, and they all would not give specifics about how big the trucks were or estimates despite my having furniture dimensions and common sense. Beware of 1/8-1/2 truck estimates- if theyre getting the same fee for filling up a truck, theres no incentive to make your stuff take up less space, and you dont know how big the trucks are. Rebecca estimated to within $6.75- it was on the low end of what others said, and Im sure it was fair. They were fast, professional and donate what they can to a variety of local charities. Woman owned business, too!!
